I travelled to Como with my sister, so we were looking for the appartment to live for several days. Please note when booking the apartment is located on a hill. Visually (on the map), it is very close to the station, but it takes about 10–15 minutes to walk there (if you are tired from traveling, it might be better to take a taxi). The host sent an excellent video guide, so there were no issues at all. We stayed in touch via WhatsApp the whole time, and any questions were resolved instantly. I must say the apartment is wonderfully equipped - it has absolutely everything you need (including small essentials like salt and oil in case you want to have breakfast or dinner there as well as all the issues to make a cleaning after the cooking or do the eco-garbage-separation). The air conditioning worked great, and we couldn't hear the neighbors at all, nor any echo from the train tracks.Then again, you should keep in mind that this place is not in the city center, so comfortable shoes are very important. However, we really enjoyed the city and nature, so we would leave early in the morning and return only in the evening. We were really lucky to book this place in the beginning of Augist. One more thing I should mention the host sent us the list of cafes and restaurants they have already tried themselves. It was very helpful. CheckIn was at 15:00 and CheckOut was at 10:00, in case this is not very comfortable there is an option to leave the luggage in the train stration (5 euro per day per item). Also there are options to buy food in local shops like Carrefour (check the map) and have a breakfast at home. To sum up, I definitely suggest this place in case you want to have a good rest but at the same time save money for something else (we took an almost private 4-hours lake cruise and it was the best decision in the overcrowded city).

Very close to the train station, just a few minutes away, it is very convenient to go to the next stop. The room is right, the first hotel to stay in Italy, because there is a small problem with the communication, but Trip.com quickly helped solve it. Breakfast is delicious.

On the edge of Lake Como, it is convenient to play. There is no front desk, and you need to call to check in, which is a bit troublesome. The room is decorated in retro but fully equipped. There is no cleaning in the middle.

This hotel is walking distance from San Giovanni Station around 10mins Walk. Room is clean and they gave me too much food to eat its on the pics I couldn’t even finish but the croissant I ate it. The staff at the reception counter is helpful he explained to me the map and how to walk from hotel to lake Como and to city centre. I walked and explored the city centre and the lake it’s very easy. I will stay back in this hotel again. Worth the money.

I couldn't receive the entry password email before I checked in, and another American couple had the same situation. The email was not answered, and someone answered the phone several times. In the end, I had to wait until the cleaning sister came and asked her to call the internal phone before I received the door password. Bring inconvenience. The location is very convenient, there is a supermarket downstairs, there is a cable car within 10 minutes walk, and the cruise terminal and train branch terminal.

Surprising very good. Closed to railway stations and ferry. Supermarkets is just 200 meter away. Staff are friendly and offer help and even allowed us to use their dining area. Highly recommended.

The location of the hotel is near the train station, convenient transportation, good service, breakfast is ok. The disadvantage is that you have to enter the back of the hotel, in front of the hotel, cannot enter the main road. The front desk staff of the hotel are very friendly and helpful to recommend como food and restaurants, and also handwritten the bus stops and routes we need to take back and forth. Hotel front desk can buy round-trip tickets, which are cheaper than actual

The location is really good and the boss is friendly. Basically, water, tea, coffee, towels and soap are ready, but you have to bring shampoo and other shower supplies! There is a restaurant under the hostel and very close to the lake!
