A quaint little cabin in beautiful southern Colorado. Perfect for couples or small families that want to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet. The cabin will sleep 6, but is more favorable to 5 or less. If you have small children, 6 will work. If you group consists of larger people, you may prefer the Restin' that is up the hill. You may hike around the cabin or choose to somewhere more public like the Spanish Peaks, North Lake, Monument Lake, or somewhere near Cuchara.The cabin has a queen bed in master bedroom. There is a loft that has 4 twin beds as well. There is only 1 bathroom, but we now have a washer and dryer. The kitchen has the amenities that you need to cook. There is also a charcoal grill that may be used. You have 2 places to choose from to have your morning coffee or evening nightcap. There is a covered porch on the front as well as a deck with a wonderful view o f the mountain behind.There is a small living room with a TV, and we now have internet. With Verizon you will have cell coverage. We generally close this cabin from December to March due to having a crawl space and the cost to heating it. Come stay in our beautifully updated, historic miner's cabin in scenic Trinidad, CO, with lovely views of Fisher's Peak from the front porch and bedroom window. This charming cottage has original, blond wood floors, a full-size kitchen with full-size stove and refrigerator, separate bedroom, 3/4 bath, and a full-size washer/dryer. We have installed a new ceiling fan in the living room and new floors in the kitchen and bathroom. Our cabin also has had new Anderson windows, so you can freely open and close them to enjoy the fresh, clean Colorado air. The cabin has a/c for your summer time comfort. You will have access to the front yard, backyard and deck to enjoy the beautiful Colorado weather. It is walking distance to historic Kit Carson park, and we are just five blocks from the dispensaries, restaurants, and bars on Commercial Street. We are 420 friendly inside and on font porch and back deck. As our guests, you will have sole access to our extra-long driveway. While we love our fur babies, pets are not allowed due to other guests' allergies. Please no tobacco smoking inside. Our cabin is perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway or for single travelers who seek a safe, picturesque place to relax. Bicycling enthusiasts will also be pleased with ample space to keep their bikes and other equipment. Beautiful and secluded 4 bedroom, 3 bath house that will easily sleep 11+, on 35 acres in the mountains. We continue to make updates to the property so I invite those of you who have stayed before to come back and see all of the improvements. We have added a bathroom off of the basement bedroom and remodeled the upstairs master Bath. No more crawl in tub. The internet and WiFI continue to work great for those of you who wish to get a little work done while you are on vacation. The backwash system for the water has drastically improved the water smell. For most folks it's almost unnoticeable. Hopefully no reviews posted after 3/20/21 will mention that the water has an odor. The one thing that has not changed for The Restin' at Weston is the fantastic views abundant wildlife and the colorful hummingbirds. The Restin' is a great getaway place to relax and recharge away from the bustle and noise of busier areas in Colorado. The house is over 1600 square feet, with a wrap around deck that overlooks the valley below. North Lake and Monument Lake are within 15 minutes and have great trout fishing. There is access to the Purgatoire River on the North Fork Greenbelt within walking distance. Other nearby attractions are the Spanish Peaks, the Bosque Del Oso, and the San Isabel forests and wildlife areas. Small Colorado towns such as Stonewall, Cuchara and LaVeta are just a short drive away, 15-35 minutes. Cuchara Mountain Park has lots of things going on including frisbee and miniature golf. Hopefully the ski lift will be going by the fall of 2023. these area will give you several dining, shopping, and entertainment options for whatever you tastes are.There are plenty of entertainment options at the cabin as the internet has plenty of speed to stream movies. The selection of DVD's continues to grow as well. We also have board games and puzzles for you to pass the time with. I won't promise that they have all the pieces. The Master suite features a King size bed and a spacious bathroom with a walk in shower and plenty of counter space. The main floor has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom is set up with 2 sets of bunkbeds and the other bedroom has a queen bed. They share a bathroom. The basement bedroom has a full bed and a bunk bed and has it's own bathroom. Bedding and towels are provided There are 2 couches in the front room large enough to sleep on as well.The kitchen is fully stocked with kitchen utensils and a Mr. Coffee coffee pot. On the deck we currently have 2 charcoal Weber grills.The family room has a nice wood burning stove for those cool Colorado nights. We generally have wood for your convenience.
