"The rooms are clean and interestingly decorated, in a unique Uzbek modern style, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location isn't an issue thanks to inexpensive taxis, but you can also walk to Gur-Emir in about half an hour. There are also shops and cafes not far from the hotel. The staff is very polite."

"Our favorite hotel in all of Uzbekistan! The entire staff is the perfect blend of professionalism and hospitality. We really didn't want to leave! The food is outstanding! The breakfast buffet is perfect; you won't leave hungry, in fact, you'll probably gain a few pounds. 😄 The chef personally comes out to oversee the food, recommends what to try, and tells you about the dishes. The waitstaff (I can't even bring myself to call them that) seem genuinely happy to see you. There's pure delight at every turn! We initially stayed in a standard room, then moved to a suite. Only our pre-booked onward tickets forced us to check out. 😄 The suite has everything from bath salts to a coffee machine. There's a separate bathtub and shower, and a cozy living room. Overall, I highly recommend it."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the train station, just a two to three-minute walk away. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom, however, was a bit cramped. If you're catching a train the next day and want to make things easy, this is a good option. Breakfast was pretty standard. Now, about the front desk. The woman in the headscarf at the front desk was absolutely terrible. When I checked in, I told her I booked through Ctrip and handed her my passport. She fiddled around for five minutes, looking everywhere but at the right place, then asked if I'd booked through ***********. Eventually, she gave me a room card for 104, but when I went up, the room hadn't even been cleaned. She then said, 'This is how it is,' and gave me another card for 106, which also hadn't been cleaned. It was already 1 PM, so even if the rooms weren't ready, why put me through all that back and forth? Couldn't she have just told me to store my luggage and go grab lunch first? Both room numbers she gave me were uncleaned. I suggested she could perhaps get one cleaned quickly, but she very firmly said, 'No, it must be 2 PM.' Okay, 2 PM is fine, but why didn't she say so earlier? What was the point of making me drag my luggage back and forth? When I returned at 4 PM, I was given yet another room, 206, and was told they had made a mistake with the rooms! Separately, the city tax at this hotel is also very strange. The two previous hotels I stayed at in Samarkand charged 41,200, but this one insisted on charging 62,000. Is the city tax different within the same city? I'd like Ctrip to investigate this and clarify the correct amount. Can't they just be transparent with their pricing?"

"I stayed one night at this hotel and it was absolutely beautiful, very luxurious. It was a bit tricky to get there as the main street was blocked by a large pile of construction sand, which made it difficult for the taxi to pass. The room was clean, with fresh linens, and all amenities were provided, including tea, coffee, and water. I do have a few suggestions: it would be great to have teaspoons in the room as there was nothing to stir with. Also, I found the lighting a bit dim and would have liked a larger mirror. I particularly enjoyed meeting Maya at breakfast; the buffet spread was beautifully presented, and you could really feel the homemade care for the guests. Everything was delicious, and Maya even made me a latte."

"・**Access** It's about a 15-20 minute taxi ride from Samarkand train station. There's also a tram stop nearby, which is a good option if you want to save money. Major attractions like Bibi-Khanym Mosque and Registan Square are easily accessible on foot. ・**Room** The room was very clean, with ample space to open our suitcases. Amenities like shampoo, body wash, and toothbrushes were provided. The room was also well-equipped with a refrigerator, hairdryer, and electric kettle. ・**Service** The front desk staff spoke English, and we could pay taxes with a credit card. They were very accommodating. Although there's no elevator, meaning we had to carry our luggage, they kindly helped us with it. ・**Breakfast** It was a typical breakfast for a hotel in Uzbekistan. There were some slightly unusual items, like pizza and leafy green salads. ・**Late Checkout** Due to our schedule, we used the late checkout service. Extending until 6 PM cost around 300,000 UZS."

"Everything was simply wonderful. The breakfast was hearty, delicious, and always fresh. The staff were responsive and polite, and the room was always clean. There's a bus stop and a shopping center nearby, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the historic old town. Highly recommend!"

"Atmospheric guest house. The hosts are very kind and hospitality. I did not agree on the time of arrival, despite this inconvenience, we were settled earlier than the time. Good location of the guest house is the sights in step-to-step availability. Silent in the room, warm and good hot water pressure. Breakfasts are very delicious, diverse, saturated and close to our kitchen. In the warm season it should be very spiritually, sure of it (the inner green yard, where a gentle cat walks)."

"The hotel is located in the historic city center, right by Registan Square. All the main attractions are just a few leisurely minutes' walk away. There are also plenty of cafes nearby, including some local spots that are clean, delicious, and affordable. I specifically booked a larger room with a street-facing window, as some rooms had courtyard-facing windows (which essentially mean they'd face the hotel corridor or lobby). Our room even had a cozy little balcony! The room itself was large and spacious, well-maintained with a touch of national character, very clean, and had pristine white linens. The air conditioning unit was well-placed, not blowing directly onto the bed. The bathroom fixtures were decent. We really enjoyed our stay. However, it might be a critical point for some that there wasn't a refrigerator in the room. We visited in May, so it wasn't hot yet, and we only stayed for 3 days, so it wasn't an issue for us."

Overall, the attractions are concentrated, making it ideal for travelers who enjoy exploring on foot. The check-in experience was good. The room was clean, bright, and spacious. The bed was soft and comfortable, providing good relief from travel fatigue and ensuring a decent quality of rest. The only minor drawback is the limited dining options near the hotel. For dinner or to find a variety of local cuisine, you might need to walk a bit further, or consider planning your meals in advance while exploring during the day. Overall, it's a clean, comfortable, and well-located accommodation, especially suitable for travelers whose main purpose is to visit the necropolis and surrounding historical sites. If convenience for dining isn't a high priority, it's an excellent place to stay."

"Nifal is a great new hotel. I spent 3 nights there. What you see in the pictures, is what you get, even better once you see it in person. Amazingly clean, tastefully decorated, high ceiling, two bottles of water, toothbrush, sleepers, and best of all, you’re asked to take your shoes off and place it on a shoe rack by the room. How cool is that? (speaking of cleanliness) Farrux at the front desk speaks English well, very kind and helpful young man. Breakfast is plenty full and individually served at a desire time. Kitchen staff greets you with a smile every morning. Hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the popular tourist attraction. Couple of restaurants close by with their specialty kebab (chicken, lamb and beef), they also serve beer and wine."
