"We brought our child to Tianchi and thought it would be nice for them to soak in the hot springs after coming down from the mountain. That turned out to be a great idea! We had a fantastic time at the hot spring hotel that day and spent most of the next day exploring the resort. There are so many activities, and it's a one-stop shop for food, accommodation, and entertainment, all in a beautiful setting. We originally planned to spend the whole day enjoying the activities, but we had to leave the water park quickly because the water was too cold. My only suggestion is that since this place caters to families with seniors and children, the water temperature is too low. The kids' play area was only 19 degrees Celsius, and the wave pool was just over 20 degrees. Many families went in without realizing how cold it was and came out shortly after, with their children's lips turning purple and shivering from the cold. I really hope the water temperature can be adjusted, made a bit warmer. Also, towels should be provided upon exiting the pool, not just after showering. I told a staff member my child was shivering and asked if we could get a towel, especially since it was windy outside, and only then did they say yes. I don't mean anything by it, but this is one area where they could learn from other hot spring hotels. The Holiday Inn Express where we stayed was quite good, with a rich breakfast and very friendly and enthusiastic front desk service. However, the staff at the entrance seemed more helpful to tour groups. For those of us who drove ourselves, they weren't as attentive. Maybe they figured we wouldn't be returning. I was alone with my child, carrying two pieces of luggage, and no one at the entrance offered to help. But when a tour group came out, they immediately helped them with their luggage onto their bus… I don't even want to comment on that…"

"The resort's natural environment is simply stunning – quiet and therapeutic. Looking out from the balcony of the Hoolike Hotel, it feels a bit like a mini-Switzerland. Breakfast was also good, with a wide variety of options, catering to everyone in the family, especially the kids who were very happy. Now for the drawbacks. First, the shower uses energy-saving facilities with a time limit, which caused a bit of anxiety while showering. The air conditioning isn't central, and there's no AC in the living room at all, making it feel a bit stuffy even in late August. Housekeeping wasn't very thorough; when we moved the beds together, we found significant dust accumulation behind the headboard, which was concerning as my child has a dust mite allergy. The bedding and towels were a bit old and not very comfortable to use."

"The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Wanda Resort. We rented a car ourselves, so staying here felt very convenient. Compared to hotels within the resort, the facilities are much newer and the price is more affordable. We, two adults and two children, even received a complimentary breakfast. Additionally, we bought ski passes for 400 yuan. We rented ski equipment at Haidongqing, and there were very few people there, whereas the town service center was packed. Overall, we were very satisfied and recommend staying here. Just a heads-up about the water park: the admission is free, but you *must* rent a locker for 30 yuan per person."

"This hotel offers great value for money, and my kids absolutely loved it. We spent the first two nights in the Jinhua Suite, and the difference was quite noticeable. The service at Momoland was much better than at the Jinhua Suite. Manager Jake was very enthusiastic, and the breakfast here was also tastier. However, the location is a bit out of the way; it's about a twenty-minute walk to the tourist town. There's also a mini-train you can take, but it gets incredibly crowded. We basically ate breakfast and then went out to explore, only returning in the evening. The only minor flaw was when I shook the duvet, I saw dust motes dancing in the light."

"How can you visit Northeast China without experiencing a traditional 'kang' (heated bed)? This resort is tucked away deep inside the scenic area, offering peace and quiet, and plenty of fresh air. This trip, we, three adults and two children, stayed in two family deluxe rooms, and it was the most comfortable three days of our Jilin trip. The rooms were spacious, and the three-meter-wide kang easily accommodated three people. The restaurant also offered great food at reasonable prices, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. We couldn't even use all the perks the resort offered; the kids absolutely loved the hot springs and didn't want to leave even after two days of soaking. Next time, I'd love to try visiting in winter."

"The hotel is well located, about 30 min by taxi from Baishan Changbaishan airport, 10 min walk from the West slope departure center as well as many restaurants. It looks majestic from the outside and inside, although a bit old. You can enjoy inside and outside hot springs of different kinds and temperatures. There is a huge buffet with various choices for breakfast (Chinese dishes mainly, two kind of fruits and some Western options). The room was very spacious and comfortable. The carpet floor was not very clean and the room smelled like cigarette on the first day, although we asked for a non smoking room. After leaving the window open the whole day it was better and the smell did not come back."

"Five-star praise! This orange is in a good location, not far from the Changbai Mountain West Slope Distribution Center, and all kinds of restaurants downstairs are complete. The room is clean and tidy, the smart facilities in the whole house are convenient to use, and the beds are warm and comfortable. The hotel provides a rich breakfast, a self-service laundry room with a dryer, and free self-driving parking. The front desk staff is warm and caring, will share the suggestions for scenic spots, the price is very high, it is very suitable to come to Xipo to play."

"This trip, traveling with family, especially with seniors and children, was perfectly suited for a fun and relaxing afternoon of hot spring soaking. We stayed here for the entire family itinerary. A heads-up: some of the hotel's booking benefits have restrictions for seniors over 60 and children under 1.1 meters tall. For instance, seniors cannot participate in activities like the West Journey slide, grass sliding, or karting. If you enjoy tea or hot water while soaking, remember to bring your own cup or a teapot and teacups, along with your own tea leaves. There's a water dispenser and disposable cups available in the lobby. There's also a simple snack bar within the hot spring area where you can choose to spend a reasonable amount for a light dinner, which is perfectly fine."

"The bunk beds alone deserve a perfect score! No child can resist them. They even provide bed rails. The hotel lobby has toys, so waiting for the shuttle isn't boring. Plus, the shuttles are frequent and the signs are clear. While Songguoli is a bit far from the commercial street, the shuttle service makes it acceptable, and the price is much cheaper than hotels near the commercial street, offering great value for money. The complimentary activities were also generous. We had two adults and two children, and even though one child wasn't tall enough for some activities, they let the older child play twice, which was very thoughtful. The hotel concierge was also very responsive. The evening firework show was absolutely beautiful! Highly recommended! The other performances were also good. I prefer it here over Wanda. The shuttle buses are more frequent, making for a better experience."
