(The local cuisine is generally very spicy preference.) - You can pick fresh oranges in the orchard immediately adjacent to the hotel. __ Local Area: - The local area is not as popular for tourism as compared to places like the nearby Zhangjiajie Avatar Mountains. Many attractions are mainly Buddhism related such as temples or a purported 1000 year old Gingko Tree. - The local Mount Heng can be hiked in under 4 hours. - The local city is small and the hotel location is somewhat far from the city centre. __ Overall this hotel provides a very tranquil environment to meditate and destress over tea, while looking at beautiful scenery. For the price point given, it offers a much better value compared to attempting to get the same conditions in the more popular, crowded scenic areas nearby. If visiting the local city or adjacent Hengyang, this hotel is by far the most unique experience, as almost all other high end hotels are just the high-rise business hotel type."
