"I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Lijiang. The reception staff, especially Liang Jingru, was incredibly kind. He was always ready to help us, even carrying our bags. When I left something behind at the hotel, he kindly offered to send it to our next destination. The room was also upgraded, which was a lovely surprise. The hotel is in a great location, close to many attractions, and everything was spotless. the hotel facilities were excellent—everything was modern and comfortable. The breakfast provided had a great variety, including options that is muslim friendly. Every interaction we had was warm, and the staff was always attentive. Even got a gift during check out. Overall, it made the whole trip so much more enjoyable, and I would definitely stay here again!"

"Choosing this hillside guesthouse with a stunning view was the best decision for my trip to Lijiang! The room's balcony offered an incredible panoramic view of the entire ancient town, perfect for photos. The owners are incredibly warm and easygoing; they even organized a dinner gathering where all the guests sat together, chatting and drinking. It felt so welcoming, like a family dinner at a friend's house – no awkwardness at all, just a warm and healing atmosphere. The owner patiently explained the best routes for exploring the ancient town, and they were always available for any needs. The place is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Even traveling solo, I never felt lonely. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Lijiang and genuinely recommend it to everyone!"

"This was my husband's and my first trip to Lijiang, and we really wanted to stay in a guesthouse within the ancient town to fully experience its charm. However, we were a bit worried about it being too noisy at night. After comparing several options, we chose B&B House in Shuhe Ancient Town, and it turned out to be a really lucky choice; we stayed in a super satisfying guesthouse hotel. The hotel's location is excellent, right near the North Gate of Shuhe Ancient Town. It's quiet yet conveniently located, and also very close to Jiuding Longtan. The room isn't huge, but the facilities are complete and well-functioning: hot water, ventilation system, hairdryer, and dehumidifier all worked perfectly, making for a very comfortable stay. The guesthouse courtyard is filled with beautiful flowers and plants everywhere, and the hotel's dining and public areas are also very pretty – I loved them. The lady who checked us in on the first day was so warm and sincere; I regret not asking for her name, but she definitely deserves a five-star rating too. She made our first stop a wonderful start to our trip. Grateful!"

"The inn's location is fantastic, very close to the old town's main street and entrances, making transportation super convenient. Situated by the creek, it offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling area, and we slept very soundly every night during our stay. With the window open, you can hear the gentle sounds of the creek right beside you. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and listening to the flowing water, made for a truly wonderful experience. The inn also provides breakfast and afternoon tea. During afternoon tea, there's a live singer, and the restaurant is also by the creek, creating a beautiful and unique ambiance. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. They invited us to sample tea and explained the best routes for exploring the ancient town. One morning, we had an early start before breakfast service began, and they specially prepared bread and milk just for us. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and highly recommend staying here."

"Shiguang is perfectly located right on the street next to Heilongtan Park, making it super convenient for taxis, and it's just a 20-minute walk to the North Gate of the Old Town. What you see is truly what you get with the facilities and environment here. This was by far the best B&B I stayed at during my trip to Yunnan! The owner has fantastic taste and pays great attention to detail – all the items chosen are high-quality. They thoughtfully provided facial cleansing cloths (I didn't even need to use the ones I brought myself! 😌), the bath products smelled amazing, and there were even toilet seat covers, which is a huge plus for someone like me who's a bit of a clean freak. The room was clean, tidy, and very cozy, and the public areas are perfect for photos. I had originally booked a 'Listening to the Rain' room on the first floor, but they upgraded me to a 'Viewing the Sun' room on the second floor, which had a bigger balcony. Huge thanks to the thoughtful owner and a definite thumbs-up 👍 to the entire B&B team for being so warm and polite!"

Outstanding team at 一见云宽! Special thanks to 阿龙 for patiently introducing the Lijiang old town to us while walking us to the accommodations. He arranged for a 师傅to help us with the bags to and fro 一见云宽due to the cobblestone pathways in the old town. Initially, before our trip, I checked with him regarding the type of room we will get as there’s different layout for the room we booked (we didn’t want a room that’s facing another room) and 阿龙patiently sent us the photos of all the rooms and let us choose the one we wanted. During our stay, he and his team has been very welcoming, warm, helpful and patient with us - helping us handle our parcels, arrange for afternoon tea for us and also prepared a light breakfast including lemon cake, flower biscuit, chocolate and milk for us when we check out at 6am to go to jade dragon mountain - a gesture that we felt very touched as they even thought of the fact that we might need chocolate in case of high altitude sickness at the mountain. The 师傅who helped us with the bags even woke up early to meet us at 6am to help us carry our bags to the main road (10-15minutes walk away) and waited with us for our cab. I felt like I was taken care of like family. It was a wonderful stay for us. Many thanks to 阿龙,师傅and the rest of the team at 一见云宽for taking care of us! i

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! Situated right near Baisha Ancient Town and at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it boasts a prime, front-row view of the mountain. With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home. The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!
