A Hidden Gem in Tuscany – Truly Special We absolutely loved our stay at I Parigi Corbinelli Residenze. This place is truly something special. The residence itself is a charming historic property that has been passed down through generations since the 1500s, and you can feel that beautiful sense of heritage the moment you arrive. The entire compound is incredibly gorgeous, peaceful, and full of character — it feels like a private Tuscan retreat. We arrived later than the official check-in time, but the owner was extremely kind and welcoming. He even called his son to come and help check us in despite the late hour. That level of hospitality really touched us. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The hot water was excellent, the heating system worked perfectly, and we had a beautiful terrace to enjoy the surroundings. Everything felt cozy yet elegant. One of the highlights is the garden and breakfast area. Breakfast is simple but perfect — everything you need for a wonderful start to the day, and enjoying it while looking out over the peaceful garden made the morning feel magical. Another big plus is the very safe parking inside the property, which gave us great peace of mind while traveling. Honestly, the value for money here is incredible. The price they charge is almost underrated for such a beautiful place — it truly deserves more recognition. We also loved that there is a resident dog who played with our dog, which made the stay even more special for us. If our itinerary hadn’t been so packed, we would absolutely have stayed another night. This place is the perfect Tuscan getaway, and we will definitely return next time we are in the area. Overall, absolutely fantastic with an unbeatable location. Just a heads-up on the soundproofing and corridor design. We had a wonderful time celebrating our honeymoon at the Rivoli Boutique Hotel in Florence! First off, I have to praise their service – the staff were incredibly friendly and polite, always happy to help with any request. The biggest surprise was that the hotel, knowing it was our honeymoon, thoughtfully upgraded us to a deluxe room for free. That truly earned them major bonus points! The hotel's location is also superb. It's less than a 10-minute walk from the train station, which was a huge relief for us with heavy luggage, as the route is short and flat. The street where the hotel is located felt very safe at night, and there are many restaurants with different styles right downstairs, so finding food was never an issue. Breakfast was pretty good too, and both the rooms and public areas were spotlessly clean and felt newly renovated. However, there are a few minor points for improvement I'd like to mention. We stayed on the second floor, and while there's an elevator, the buttons seemed a bit temperamental – sometimes it took a long time to respond, and it occasionally skipped our floor entirely. Also, the corridor after exiting the elevator is quite narrow, and to reach some rooms, you even have to go up and down two steps. This could be a bit awkward if you have heavy luggage. What bothered us the most was actually the poor soundproofing in the room. The electronic sound from the door lock was very loud when operated, and it seemed like the vibration damping wasn't great because whenever the neighboring room closed their door, we'd feel a significant vibration and hear a loud noise. We were even woken up by neighboring doors opening and closing at 7 AM. Furthermore, the walls between rooms seemed quite thin, as we could clearly hear conversations and objects being moved next door. Aside from the soundproofing and the luggage handling routes, the hotel's service, cleanliness, and location are truly exceptional. If you're not sensitive to noise, this is definitely a perfect place to stay!

It was a really nice stay, the staffs were friendly too. I forgot who greeted me during the night check-in time, but he sure gave me so many recommendations during my stay in Florence, and I am truly grateful for that. He deserves a five star service ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ Room was okay, clean, spacious for myself (even for two). The cons: My room was not cleaned even though I had put the ”please make up room” sign. I went out, and when I returned to my room, the sign had been changed to ”do not disturb”, I didn't know who did that, but my room was not cleaned that's for sure. The guests who stayed beside my room were VERY NOISY even at night when people were sleeping. I could even here all the things they said inside their room. Overall, quite a good stay in Florence 😊👍🏻

My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

I was caught in a heavy downpour and completely soaked when I went to pick up my luggage after checking out. I was really struggling, so I truly appreciated being offered a towel and a hairdryer. Thank you very much. However, in the room, only one power outlet seemed to be working, which was inconvenient. Also, there was a leak in the bathroom sink.

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the train station. Right after I booked, the price dropped, and after I contacted Trip.com, customer service immediately refunded the difference. When we checked our luggage, the front desk tried to upsell us to a larger room for 30 Euros, but we didn't have much luggage so we declined. The room was indeed small, mainly the bathroom door was hard to open without bumping into things; it should really be a sliding door. All visible areas were quite clean, but there was a lot of dust on the cups and tabletop. A kettle and tea bags were provided, but no free water. The kettle also had a lot of limescale, so I didn't dare use it. Breakfast was quite simple. Overall, it's good value for money.

It's in a great location, 7 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from the Ufutzii Museum, but it was hard to find because there was no hotel sign! I was standing 10 meters away, but I couldn't find it even after walking back and forth, so I asked a nearby hotel staff member, who pointed to a small door and said, ”It's right there.” I pressed the intercom, had it opened, went up to the third floor, and finally checked in. The room was cute, and when I told them I was leaving early in the morning, they were flexible and said, ”I can make breakfast at the breakfast shop and have it delivered the day before.” There was a shower, a refrigerator, and bottled water for the bed. If you leave the room and go up one level, there is a shared terrace with a view of the roofs of the ancient city. If the check-in goes smoothly, it's a great place to stay.

This hotel is one of the main reason we can fully enjoyed our Florence experience.. VERY CONVENIENTLY LOCATED.. Every important landmarks are mostly within 15 minutes max radius of the hotel. And I can't stress this enough about the Helpfullness & Amazing Service of the staffs.. Very responsive, very friendly , very2 eager to help.. a big shout out to DAVID at the reception & AMAN from the kitchen. The hotel is just been renovated earlier this year so everything is still looking fresh & clean. We love to come back to Florence & we will be back at Room Mate Luca when we do..

Excellent location, excellent treatment and service by all the staff, especially by the receptionist who is there in the mornings and who knows how to speak Spanish. Their kindness and attention: exceptional, the fact that it has a swimming pool, even if it is small, to take a dip especially in summer, with the heat that it is, is an important point to take into account, and although I have read that they do not warn that it does not have an elevator and that in many cases, like us, they send you to the second floor with many steps, it is true, but they also take your suitcases up and down. Without a doubt, I will stay at this hotel again on my next trip to Florence.
