You can add a smoothie or a coffee alongside it. After days of heavy food, an easy plant-based breakfast is exactly what you want in the morning. It felt like a reset. The room is clean and comfortable. We spent time in the hanging chair, we didn’t want to get out of bed, the TV is big and the picture quality is good. We genuinely had to push ourselves to go outside. Piece of Sky at night: good cocktails, the bay lit up below, live saxophone. I don’t know where else in El Nido you get all of that at once. That’s the stay. Worth it.”"

"About Anitsa Resort, we loved it! Perfect hotel that makes your stay in El Nido warm and cozy! Breakfast isn’t a buffet, but every day the menu surprises you with a delicious new option, we absolutely loved it! All the amenities worked perfectly, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They even assisted us with renting tours and bikes to explore the city. The resort is about 15 minutes from the center, but the location is perfect for visiting all the beaches around El Nido. If we ever return, we would love to stay at Anitsa Resort again!"

"Our stay at Funny Lion was absolutely wonderful, and we can say with full confidence that this is a truly special place. The location is perfect, very convenient and comfortable, but what makes this hotel outstanding is the people. The staff are incredibly responsive, caring, and attentive. They genuinely care about their guests and even remember everyone by name, which makes you feel truly welcomed and valued from the very first day. The rooms are beautiful, very clean, cozy, and well maintained. Everything is done with great attention to detail. There is absolutely no need to stay directly on the beach because the hotel regularly provides a transfer to their own Papaya Beach at 9:00 and 11:00 in the morning, with return transfers at 14:00 or 16:00. It is very convenient and well organized. We highly recommend using the hotel’s airport transfer both to and from the airport. When our flight from El Nido was unexpectedly canceled, the team went above and beyond and helped us organize a transfer all the way to Puerto Princesa. This level of support and care is rare and priceless. We will definitely return with great pleasure. Funny Lion is not just a hotel, it is a place where you feel truly taken care of. The best! Highly recommended."

"What a wonderful stay at Buko Beach Resort. Close tricycle ride to the hustle and bustle if you wish. This resort is peaceful if you want to relax next to the beach. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable with all the amenities that you need. The staff are so friendly and helpful they will assist you anyway they can to make your stay convenient. The food tastes great and there are a variety to choose from while you enjoy the Seaview. They arrange island trips for you and can also arrange SPA treatments for you in your room which is devine and so convenient. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to El Nido."

"I didn’t feel like leaving! This place is a gem. It’s nestled on top of a small hill with mind blowing views. The room (Joglo 5) had spectacular views from the balcony and was very well equipped. It was clean, comfortable, bright, and spacious. The infinity pool and restaurant were the icing on the cake. Beautiful sunsets and vibe! Service was also excellent - thanks to Wilma, RV, Maggie, Lemer, Geo, Lester, Ellen, the Chef, and all others!"

"Marianne Suite is a great choice for travelers on a budget. The room was clean, simple, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It may not be fancy, but it’s well-maintained and worth the price. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and our entire stay smooth and hassle-free. The location is also convenient, with easy access to nearby establishments and transportation. Overall, it’s a practical and affordable place to stay. Highly recommended for those looking for comfort without spending too much."

"This hotel and its staff deserve a 10+ rating for excellence, staff very attentive customer care driven and friendly. Elmer and Cris stood out as exceptional. The hotel and grounds were clean beautiful and had extra amenities that made our stay relaxed and comfortable. The location is a 2 minute walk to Lio beach and all the restaurants along the beach. Elmer the van driver drove us to the beach area and recommended a good restaurant. The hotel will also transfer you to the airport which is very close. I would recommend Peace Loo over any other hotel in El Nido and will definitely return on future travels. The best of the best!"

"The hotel was in a super nice area of El Nido, and therefore I would highly recommend. But the hotel itself was too expensive for what you get, the room smelled like urine and when we told the staff they’d put in a air refresher that gave of a really strong sweet smell for a couple of hours and after that the urine smell was back again so they tried to cover it instead of fixing the problem. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. You should not eat or drink at the hotel as it is crazy expensive and you can get very nice food/coffee at a 2 minute walk."

"* Upon arrival, the air conditioning unit in our villa was not properly maintained. The filter was extremely dirty and clogged, causing excessive noise and poor performance. We had to clean it ourselves in order to use it. * There is little to no mobile signal in the area, and the WiFi connection has been unreliable due to ongoing maintenance, making it very difficult to stay connected. * There has been significant noise disturbance from construction work directly behind our villa, including the use of loud power tools throughout most of the day over several days. * We were only informed about a wedding taking place upon check-in. As a result, we were unable to use the sunbeds located outside our villa and had to relocate further away. Also due to the wedding taking place, the hotel had to make many soundchecks during the day before, playing very loud music which made it hard to relax on the beach. The wedding guests (80+ people) were allowed to use the villa next to us, as their designated toilet, which caused a lot of back and forth from the weddings guests right by our villa. This made it difficult to relax. * Additionally, we find that the restaurant prices are quite high compared to the quality of the food. For example, breakfast at 800 PHP did not meet basic expectations, as even simple items such as cheese and ham for bread were missing. I’m also sorry to say that the chicken adobo is tasteless, and on the menu it says the menu has been created by a Michelin chef. My mango daquiri tasted only of alcohol, so I had to ask for one with less alcohol. As a certified bartender, that is unacceptable. Even the French fries were not done properly as they needed more time in the oven (I think that’s what they used to make them at least, I would prefer if they were fried in oil though). However, very good mango shakes. * We would also like to mention that the access roads leading to the property are in very poor condition. The roads consist mainly of uneven gravel and are full of deep potholes, which make driving quite difficult and uncomfortable. In some areas, it is only possible to drive at around 10 km/h due to the condition of the road. We believe that the roads would greatly benefit from proper maintenance or being paved with cement, as this would significantly improve accessibility and the overall guest experience. We understand that some of these issues may be temporary or unforeseen, but taken together they have had a significant impact on our stay. However I would really like to highlight Hazel from the reception at the Nacpan Beach Villas. She was really sweet and thorough when we had any questions and went the extra mile for us. She deserves a raise. Please let her know we were really happy with her and really appreciated her."
