"On the first day of check in ERIC 和Jackson assisted us and even taught us how to buy the tickets for changbaishan. However they were on break during the rest of our stay which led to quite an unpleasant stay. The ground crew did not communicate and handover properly and they forgot that we were going to the mountain and made us wait over 30 minutes in the lobby for the transport that never came. Location wise, there’s nothing nearby and food choices were limited. However it is very near to the changbaishan mountain and this making the trip to the mountain relatively accessible. Hotel Breakfast is not bad too, many choices and the concierge is really friendly and helpful. Overall it was an alright stay but we expected better service for the price we paid for."

"Finally got to experience the Crowne Plaza Changbaishan Hot Spring, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations – definitely the top choice for accommodation when visiting Changbaishan! The hotel's location is superb, directly facing the stunning Changbaishan scenery. The environment is serene and peaceful, fully immersed in a mountainous forest atmosphere, allowing for a deep connection with nature's greenery. The guest rooms are spacious and airy, elegantly decorated, with soft and skin-friendly bedding and a mattress that's just right – making for an amazing sleep experience. The room was spotless with no odd smells, and the hygiene details were meticulously maintained. The toiletries were of good quality, and the facilities were complete and smart, ensuring maximum comfort during our stay. The hotel's main highlight is its natural hot springs. The pools are clean and comfortable, and soaking in them amidst the forest creates a wonderful ambiance, soothing travel fatigue, and providing a truly therapeutic and relaxing experience. The service team was warm, attentive, and responsive, offering meticulous and thoughtful service from check-in to check-out, truly making us feel at home. Breakfast offered a rich variety of fresh and high-quality ingredients, catering to both northern and southern palates. The hotel's amenities are excellent, making it convenient for travel and sightseeing. It's perfectly suited for both relaxing holidays and leisure stays, offering incredible value for money. I will definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Changbaishan. Highly recommended!"

"Our family of five stayed for two days over the May Day holiday, costing around 3600 RMB for two rooms. The hotel is brand new, very clean, and the facilities are decent. The front desk staff were all very enthusiastic and helpful, answering all our questions. Normally, when I'm in Japan, most onsen hotels allow you to use the hot springs from around 5-6 AM until 11 PM. I think if guests could use the hot springs freely, it would greatly enhance their satisfaction, especially on days with bad weather or when they just want to relax during their trip. While traveling, breakfast is precious time spent with family. Unfortunately, on the first day, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a simple private room. However, on the second day, the restaurant manager refused our request for a private room, citing a shortage of staff. I found this very disappointing, especially since there were no five-person tables in the main hall and the private rooms were empty. The hot springs close at 9:30 PM, but they kindly extended the time for us because we were late returning from dinner. I also forgot my watch in the onsen changing room, and a kind young lady with glasses at the front desk was very responsible and helped me retrieve it. Thank you!"

"This hotel is incredibly comfortable! I'd highly recommend it to any of my friends visiting Changbai Mountain. The atmosphere and environment are fantastic, and all the facilities are brand new. Our butler, Xiao Yu, was super attentive, making sure our drinking water was always replenished promptly. They even contacted us in advance to arrange high-speed train pick-up. The hotel's breakfast spread is also incredibly rich and delicious – I loved it! I originally planned to stay another night, but my schedule was too tight, so I had to rush off. I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"The hotel is huge with a great environment and a convenient location, just ten minutes from the high-speed train station when you leave. The shuttle service to and from the station is very convenient, and the driver was punctual. The front desk staff were warm and attentive in their service. It's also close to Enduli and various activities. The Guardian Hot Spring is very unique. The security guard and a lovely lady from Shandong working at the bathhouse were both very enthusiastic. The breakfast selection is abundant, and the late-night noodles were delicious. They even have robots deliver takeout, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, a very satisfying stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit the North Slope."

"The hotel environment is undeniably beautiful. We had a packed two-day itinerary, so we didn't stay long enough to fully enjoy all the amenities, but the hotel breakfast was incredibly diverse. The hot spring area was also very comfortable and beautiful, with very few people around. The hotel's small forest and swings were great, and the blue hour was absolutely stunning. The room was spacious, the bed was huge, and the bathtub was perfect for a soak – they even provided disposable tub liners. Anything we needed was delivered promptly, and the butler service deserves a five-star rating!"

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, close to both the town and the North Slope. It's about a ten-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, and the hotel provides a convenient shuttle service. The hotel features its own hot springs, where you can relax and soak while enjoying beautiful views of the Erdaobai River. They even have unique large iron pot hot spring baths, creating a truly wonderful atmosphere. The rooms themselves are quite spacious, though the facilities are a bit dated. The hotel's restaurant, 'Shao Jiu Guan,' impressed with its authentic Northeastern Chinese decor and cuisine. It boasts a lovely setting with the Erdaobai River flowing just outside its windows. When I asked the butler to reserve a table, I specifically requested a window seat if possible and was confirmed that one had been booked. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, just as a server was leading us towards a window table, another staff member abruptly informed us that all window seats were taken due to earlier bookings. We were then told to either sit in an inner section or return later. Oddly enough, after we had settled at an inner table and placed our order, we were suddenly told that a window seat had become available. This really put a damper on our dining experience. It would have been much better if they had simply informed us during the booking process if a window seat wasn't available."

"This guesthouse is incredibly unique and thoughtful. After experiencing the chaotic management and pre-packaged fruit for breakfast at Wanda Westin on our trip from Shanghai to Changbai Mountain, my expectations for this guesthouse weren't very high. However, Guan Zhi ultimately made our Changbai Mountain trip perfect. From the thoughtful communication and guidance before check-in to the seamless and attentive pick-up/drop-off service, every staff member showed immense enthusiasm and a strong sense of ownership. Even the young ladies helped us with our luggage. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with snacks and a variety of beverages. The hot spring dip in the courtyard after dinner, along with the fragrant and sweet roasted sweet potatoes, made our children fall in love with this guesthouse. They even thought Guan Zhi was a more upscale hotel than the Westin. Guan Zhi's breakfast was a true highlight in terms of quality. Whether it was the fruit, homemade shredded chicken, prawns, or their own braised beef, beef noodles, and soup rice, everything captured the taste buds of our family of four. My eldest daughter, who is usually very picky about breakfast, even had two servings of beef noodles the next morning. On New Year's Eve after dinner, we joined the New Year's Eve feast organized by the owner. We and a few other guests enjoyed the owner's 25-year-old baijiu. The sweet baijiu brought together friends from all corners of the country, allowing us to spend a comfortable and relaxed New Year's Eve. The owner and their team are dedicated to building Guan Zhi into a warm and influential brand. With such dedication and full commitment, I believe Guan Zhi and the owner will go a long way. Perhaps it was fate, but on our only full day exploring the North Slope, we were lucky enough to catch the only time Tianchi (Heaven Lake) was open in two weeks, making us among the chosen few to witness its beauty. Wishing everyone a galloping start to the Year of the Horse!"

"This trip truly exceeded our expectations! The hotel's location is fantastic, very close to the high-speed train station, making transportation to and from super convenient. It saved us a lot of hassle and time on the road, which was a huge relief. The biggest surprise was the hot spring area, especially the children's splash zone, which was thoughtfully designed with clean and fun facilities. Our whole family, from young to old, spent a long time there, and the kids were thrilled the entire time – it was a real hands-off experience for us parents. The hot springs offered a good variety, and the water was clear and comfortable; we felt completely relaxed after soaking. The service was also excellent, the overall environment was clean and tidy, and it offered great value for money. It's really ideal for family travel, and I genuinely recommend it to everyone!"

"The hotel service was absolutely wonderful! When we checked in, the front desk saw we were cold and immediately offered us warm bottled water. Our room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. When we went to the hot springs, the staff member managing the area was so enthusiastic. She constantly reminded us to be safe and even specially guided us to try the outdoor hot springs, which was a 100% amazing experience. Despite the cold weather, we truly felt the warmth and hospitality from the hot springs staff. She even helped us take a group photo – fantastic! 👍 Breakfast was also excellent, with delicious food and even frozen sliced pears. Next time I come to Changbai Mountain, this hotel will definitely be my first choice."
