Shortly after booking, our butler Wendy proactively connected with me via WeChat, instantly easing all my travel anxieties. A few days before our trip, she provided a super comprehensive guide for first-timers, covering everything from the highway exit and park entrance registration to parking fees, tidal schedules, reservation channels for various venues, and the locations of dining halls for all three meals. She even detailed where to go for morning, afternoon, and evening strolls, completely saving me from staying up late to plan. Upon arrival, the park was huge, and I was disoriented with our luggage. Wendy sent real-time location and walking directions, clearly indicating the shuttle pick-up points. During check-in, she meticulously explained the room facilities, complimentary drinks, and toiletries, and proactively asked if we had any special requests. Throughout our stay, whether we wanted to visit the chapel, find local snacks, or watch the sunset in the evening, her responses were almost immediate. "Even during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, AKA still attracts many visitors, especially those with children. It's understandable, given the large lawn perfect for running around and the beach for digging in the sand. The lobby staff were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful with check-in, accommodating our requests and responding promptly, which made our stay with the kids very comfortable. The concierge at the entrance also helped with our luggage, except for one staff member who insisted my husband move the car. My husband explained that the car wasn't in the way and that our child was asleep and needed to be carried to the room. The staff member then looked at me, and I said my back hurt and I couldn't carry them. That interaction dampened the mood a bit. However, the other staff members were excellent; they understood the difficulties of traveling with children and that happy kids mean relaxed parents. We loved the oil tank mini-train, playing soccer on the big lawn, and swimming in the small pool. I do wish the small pool had supervision. There were so many kids swimming in it, but many adults were treating it like a foot-washing basin, rinsing off sandy feet and even walking in with their slippers! Children are delicate, and I hope this small pool can be supervised too. Catching the sunrise is very convenient – you just go down to the beach!"

The hotel's location is very quiet; even the seagulls choose to stop and rest here. The architecture has a beautiful, linear aesthetic. Carson provided excellent service, and I kept thanking him. The food at the sea-view restaurant was also quite good, and they had my favorite soup. If I'm in China next spring, I'll definitely come back to Aranya and choose The Azure again. The overall service is hard to rate because with so many people, some services were excellent, while others weren't. But what I absolutely couldn't stand was the windowless room... It was unbelievable. My rhinitis flared up; there was a strange smell when I walked in. Turning on the air conditioning helped a bit... But every time I went out and got some fresh air... then came back into the room... it was pure torture. Good thing I only stayed one night... I suggest the hotel removes this room type. Every room comes with a private hot spring tub on the balcony, perfect for an evening soak with a drink in hand while enjoying the sea breeze. It's truly a Santorini-esque romantic nightscape, incredibly picturesque. The rooms are spacious, with 3-4 person suites ideal for family trips (the sofa bed can be prepared by staff). The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, a smart toilet, and thoughtful amenities like children's toothbrushes and toiletries. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the soundproofing is excellent, allowing you to peacefully drift off to sleep to the sound of the waves. The mini-bar is stocked with complimentary drinks and fruits. I must give a special shout-out to our travel butler, Zhou Shuang, who proactively contacted us right after booking to answer all our questions. "I booked a family suite with my elderly relatives and child. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. I highly recommend Senzeyuan for families with elderly relatives and young children, as it's incredibly close to the beach and hot springs—basically, just around the corner. The room service was impeccable. Our room attendant, Qin Ying, was exceptionally attentive. She provided a fruit platter every afternoon, soft drinks in the room refrigerator, and even asked what fruit my child liked. So grateful! 😊 Yudao Island is perfect for children. They can enjoy the hot springs and water park endlessly, and the playground for little ones is also great. The outdoor non-motorized area is also a great place to stroll. Highly recommended! I don't have many photos because I was mostly swimming, so please excuse the quality."

"Traveling with kids, everything was perfectly arranged. The hotel called ahead to confirm our check-in time and provided important information, making communication seamless. Check-in at the hotel was very quick, and the staff were warm, attentive, and provided excellent service. The hotel also arranged transport services, which was very convenient as we didn't want to drive. No matter where we were on the property, a quick call to the hotel would get a car dispatched immediately. The room was clean and tidy, with dedicated cleaning staff. When we needed an extra single duvet in the middle of the night, it was brought to us in no time. Amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste were replenished daily. Overall, a great experience!"
