"My stay here was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is super close to Huangguoshu Scenic Area, just a few minutes' drive away. It has a really peaceful vibe, and I loved sitting on the balcony at night, looking at all the stars with the mountains all around – so quiet and relaxing. Check-in was efficient, and the staff at the front desk were so warm and polite. My room was spotless, the bedding was comfy, and the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast offered a great variety and tasted delicious. A huge thank you to the front desk for the room upgrade; after two nights here, I felt completely refreshed from my travels. The overall service was top-notch. They also have a lot of free activities; I tried batik making and fridge magnet crafting, which was fun. This is definitely my go-to choice when visiting Huangguoshu, and I'll be back for sure! I'll be recommending it to all my colleagues and friends!"

"The service was excellent! The butler was super responsive, even helping my child print out homework and giving us coffee vouchers. Just a heads-up, the coffee shop doesn't open until 11 AM. The environment is lovely and very quiet, and my child had a blast swimming. To help you improve even further, here are a few suggestions: We stayed in the Xue Zhu room, and the bed frame on the first floor creaks when you sit on it. It would be great if that could be fixed. It would be helpful to have smaller pillows available for children. Also, it might be a good idea to ask about check-in times beforehand and do the pest control earlier. The mosquito coils were quite strong, and my nose felt really uncomfortable at night 😷. When cleaning, if the showerhead could be adjusted to a handheld spray, it would prevent adults from getting wet when turning on the water to bathe children. I look forward to an even better experience on my next stay! Still highly recommend this place."

"This is a new hotel, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The facilities and decor are excellent! 👍 The breakfast spread is fantastic and delicious. The Chinese food is superb and really hit the spot – even for us who can't handle spice, it was genuinely non-spicy. As someone from Shunde, a city known for its cuisine, I can attest it was truly delicious! The service was absolutely amazing! Every single staff member, from the front desk and drivers to security, housekeepers, and restaurant staff, was incredibly warm and attentive! We stayed for two nights, and on the morning of our third day, we wanted to see the magnificent Balinghe Bridge. The driver personally took us to the viewpoint, which was incredibly thoughtful and touching!"

"It was my first time staying at Jianglu and I was deeply impressed. First of all, the environment is unique and full of wildness, but the facilities are complete, including a swimming pool, study, Zen room, tea room, coffee bar, laundry room, and many experience activities, such as wax dyeing, boiling tea around the stove, making local specialties, feeding rabbits... In addition, the restaurant service is excellent, the breakfast variety is rich, and the beef rice noodles are so delicious! The prices for ordering food in the store are also very affordable. The most important thing is the meticulous service. There are multiple varieties of fruits, drinks, good night desserts, late night porridge and milk every day, and every staff member is super friendly. It is truly a secluded outdoor paradise. Even though I stayed there for three nights, I still couldn’t bear to leave."

"Although this wasn't the last hotel I stayed at in Guizhou, it definitely had the best service I've experienced so far – absolutely wonderful! When we went to Huangguoshu Waterfall, a staff member guided us through the express lane and even told us how to get back. Since it was a sunny day, we were pleasantly surprised to find our car covered with sunshades when we returned, and they even brought us water."

"At the beginning of the month, my travel companion, “Peking Duck” (my child), and I explored four small cities in Guizhou – Guiyang, Anshun, Bijie, and Xingyi. We thoroughly experienced the karst landscapes, caves, waterfalls, and pastoral scenery, all in a comfortably cool climate. Here's a comprehensive guide to share with everyone! ⭕️ Guizhou Geological Museum (reservations required, closed on Mondays, last admission at 4 PM): You can book a guided tour with fossil restoration activities, which is very interesting. ⭕️ Qingyun Market: A great place to eat and explore (definitely try Guiyang's Sour Soup Hotpot – the flavor is unique compared to other regions). ⭕️ Yelang Valley (watch Nuo opera, two shows daily: 12:00-12:30 PM and 3:00-3:30 PM. Kids who enjoy crafts can try plant carving). ⭕️ I personally don't recommend Zhijin Cave for families with young children or the elderly! However, Zhijin Grand Canyon is highly recommended. Enter via the elevator, and the entire route is a downhill walk, making it very lazy-friendly. The scenic beauty is truly impressive and worth a visit! ⭕️ Guizhou Guanling National Fossil Group Geological Park (the fossil digging area is open, but the museum area will open in late July). ⭕️ Huangguoshu Waterfall (‼️ Water Curtain Cave requires reservations and raincoats are a must!). For a lazy-friendly approach: take the round-trip elevator and capture a panoramic shot from above. If you're not up for a lot of walking, you can skip Tianxing Bridge; seeing the main waterfall is breathtaking enough! And a shout-out to the park staff – every restroom is spotless, some even have toilet seat covers! ⭕️ Fenglin Buyi (consider going in the evening when the lights are on – the scenery is even more beautiful. You can experience Buyi culture, songs and dances, iron flower performances, and other unique shows. There are many fun NPC mini-games in the scenic area. Watching the iron flower show from a boat offers a more direct and spectacular view). ⭕️ Kids will absolutely love a full day at Wanfenglin! Fishing, mini-train rides, woodworking, tie-dyeing, fruit picking, making Ciba (sticky rice cakes), and so much more – they'll never want to leave! When they get tired, relaxing at a popular cafe is pure bliss! ⭕️ Maling River Canyon (known as 'the most beautiful scar on Earth.' The scenic area closes at 5:30 PM. For an aerial view, navigate to 'Maling River Canyon Parking Lot 2'). Tips: ‼️ Guizhou attractions can be physically demanding. If you're traveling with children and have limited stamina, opt for lazy-friendly routes. ‼️ Mornings and evenings are cool, but it can be quite sunny during other times, so bring plenty of sunscreen and mosquito repellent. ‼️ Some attractions require advance reservations, so plan your itinerary accordingly! ‼️ Bring raincoats for Maling River and Huangguoshu, and wear non-slip shoes. ‼️ For Zhijin Cave, avoid wearing long pants or white shoes as it can get muddy! The cave temperature is around 10 degrees Celsius, so bring a jacket. Among the hotels we stayed at, 'Peking Duck' loved the Huangguoshu Kaiyuan Manju Hotel the most. It offers many parent-child activities, new facilities, and delicious dining! We enjoyed a cool summer with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius throughout our trip, without any high-intensity rushing. We experienced city life, majestic gorges and waterfalls, underground marvels, pastoral peak forests, and ethnic minority customs all at once. The best classroom is always on the road; what you see with your own eyes is far more memorable than what you read in books. It’s time to get out there with the kids!"

"Who knows, family members! The [hotel name] I stayed at this time has me in such a good way that I have to tell everyone about it. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the handsome guy and beautiful girl at the front desk were so enthusiastic that they seemed to meet long-lost relatives. They checked me in at the speed of light and recommended a bunch of super local snacks to me, which cured my choice difficulty. When I walked into the room, I fell on the bed. The bed was soft, like cotton candy. I almost thought I was a giant express packaged and delivered, and was gently signed for. The smart devices are also great. You can turn on and off the lights and draw the curtains with a shout. I thought at the time that this hotel might be able to read minds. The next day, I went to have breakfast. Wow, the scene was like the Olympics of food. Chinese, Western, sweet, and salty, all kinds of players appeared one after another, and I started the ”Clean Plate Campaign” directly. "This time I took my parents to visit Huangguoshu and stayed at Zhiye Hotel. The experience was amazing and I have to praise it! First of all, I would like to give a big thumbs up to the hotel housekeeper! From the moment we added WeChat, we were full of enthusiasm. Not only did they kindly remind me that the cherry blossoms in the store were in full bloom and provided free high-speed rail transportation, but they also showed great care in our communication when they learned that I was traveling with my 70-year-old parents. Whether it was patiently answering questions about the time it takes to get from the high-speed rail to the hotel, the details of the pick-up and drop-off service, or helping to plan a travel guide to Huangguoshu Waterfall, it all made people feel warm. Although the hotel's food and beverages are limited in variety, they are indeed delicious. I love the sour soup beef hotpot. I am drooling just thinking about it now. The hotpot is also good, with fresh ingredients, good taste, large portions and great value for money!
