"We stayed at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama for our honeymoon for 3 nights and 4 days, and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. My wife absolutely loved everything about this hotel, and so did I. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed by Wike from the front office, and she truly made our stay extra special. She was always smiling, respectful, kind, and very helpful throughout our stay. She even offered us free activities and vouchers, which was such a nice touch. The biggest surprise was that we got upgraded to the Executive Suite, the highest room category in the hotel. Huge thanks to Wike for making our honeymoon unforgettable! The room itself was unbelievable. Beautiful views, a huge living room, separate bedroom, and an amazing bathroom with a bathtub overlooking the view. Everything felt luxurious and very comfortable. Since it was our honeymoon, the room was also beautifully decorated and we were welcomed with a fruit basket, which made us feel really special. Breakfast was another highlight. The variety was insane so many options that we honestly didn’t know what to choose. Everything we tried was delicious. One thing that really stood out was the staff. I’ve traveled quite a lot, but the service here felt different. Every single staff member we met smiled, greeted us warmly, checked if everything was okay, and helped immediately whenever needed. You can really feel the genuine hospitality here. We also received a complimentary photoshoot from the hotel, which was such a lovely experience. The photographer was great, and we even got a printed photo in a frame to take home as a memory. The only disappointing part during our stay was the Teppanyaki experience at the Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all. The chef only cooked in front of us without any interaction or entertainment, and when I tried making conversation, she seemed annoyed. Considering how expensive it was, it honestly felt very underwhelming. I personally wouldn’t recommend the Teppanyaki experience there. Other than that, everything was truly amazing. Even though I don’t remember everyone’s names, thank you to every single staff member who made our honeymoon so memorable. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again. "The room is just the right size for a couple or a small family of 3- 2 adults and a child. The bed is comfortable. The shower is separated from the toilet bowl area. The TV is not a smart and no Netflix or YouTube. The swimming pool is not big so be aware if you and your family want to swim, choose the right timing to avoid crowds. The gym is facing the pool. There are several food options surrounding the hotel. The carpark is small too located at basement. Overall, it is an okay place to stay. Clean and comfortable."

"Stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Overall, the place was clean and looked new. Room was clean and relatively spacious. There were only a few, small issues that prevented this from being an all 5 star review. Firstly, sound proofing was bad. I could hear what my neighbours were watching on TV at night, and as we were facing the pool, we could also hear when people were running around there. Secondly, the lifts were really slow and narrow for a seemingly new hotel. The first day I arrived, 2 out of 3 lifts were not working. And the lifts themselves were very narrow and uncomfortable to be in when there were more than 5 persons in the lift. Lastly, the kettle provided in the room was faulty, it didn't stop boiling unless you pressed it manually, making it a bit dangerous for guests who are unaware. But like I said, these just irked me, and other guests may not feel the same way. Overall still a very pleasant stay and good amenities all around."

"We arrived as early as 11AM and thankfully given early check in. Any hotel that did this is 5 stars in my book! Room and bathroom were clean. Drinkable water can be obtained from dispenser in the hallway. Breakfast was nice! Great selection of food, snacks, pastries, cereals, etc. Hotel location is in the heart of the city. Probably the only minus point was, as a property the hotel is not the most spacious, so less parking area available. Bunch of cars tend to queue in the morning picking up the outgoing guests."

"Wow... Grand Cakra Malang was amazing for our family Christmas vacation in Malang. There's a GMS Church in the hotel ballroom, so we could attend service there – absolutely incredible! I didn't realize all of God's blessings before. We had a memorable Christmas at Grand Cakra. There are many coffee shops and eateries in front of the hotel. It's in the Arraya area, an upscale residential neighborhood in Malang... It was great staying for 4 days and 3 nights. The 2-bedroom suite with breakfast was fantastic, and it was also close to the pool, so my grandkids could swim. Overall, it was wonderful.
