There is a direct railway to Narita Airport, and the total journey is 1 hour and 7 minutes. It is very, very close to Ueno and Asakusa. If you want to go to other attractions, you can transfer It is also very convenient to go directly by bus. Especially for tourists with Disney itineraries, there is a bus stop behind the Sky Tree just 5 minutes' walk downstairs from the hotel. It takes 1 hour to go directly to Disney. We loved our stay at this hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and found the staff to be lovely (all spoke english), very helpful with navigating this amazing yet busy city. The rooms were very funky, although one of the double rooms somewhat on the smaller side as pictured but there was enough space for suitcases etc. The rooftop offered beautiful views. The hotel was close to supermarkets as well as skytree (worthwhile visiting and paying to go to the top for beautiful views over tokyo at night). It was in walking distance to Skytree train station with easy access to all of the major train lines. We tried the breakfast on a few occasions which wasn't cheap however offered a range of japanese and continental options. We loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone travelling to Japan!

- The receptionist kindly let me check in earlier even though I didn’t ask. - The blanket is just heavy enough to get a good sleep. The capsule walls are very thin, though, and the snoring person below me deprived me of some sleep. I guess this is why they sell earplugs at the reception :) An iron is available for 100 yen, but it is not too strong, and they don't provide an ironing board. The ladder to the top bunk capsule is extremely inconvenient, to the extent that one should be very sober and concentrated to climb it up or down without getting hurt. Or maybe it's just that I'm too big. Overall, a rather good stay, and for quite an affordable price, will be keeping this place in mind for my next time.

The prostyle ryokan is located just outside Of the heart of Asakusa on a busy road. The noise of the road cannot be heard at all inside the ryokan. It’s a short walk to the center of Asakusa and the temple. There are many great restaurants nearby. The hotel has a shabu shabu restaurant. The ryokan is clean, people at the reception are very helpful. The rooms are clean, spacious by Tokyo standards and the beds quite comfortable. We had a room with a private shower and a separate bath tub outside, very nice to soak in the early morning (when it’s not to hot yet). There was also a balcony with chairs and a table —but temperatures didn’t allow us to use it. The room is wel appointed and has everything you need. It has a clean but traditional Japanese atmosphere. The Japanese breakfast is fantastic and highly recommended, wel worth the money.

I am not satisfied with the hygiene and environment of this hotel. The environment of the room is dark and there is a lot of dust in the air. I think the hotel should pay more attention to hygiene and environment to provide a better stay experience. Also, the hotel facilities are not enough. There were originally three washing machines in the public space, but one of them was broken, and only one was left usable. As a result, there was a long queue for laundry, which added unnecessary hassle to my travels. I hope that the hotel can pay more attention to the needs of guests and provide better facilities and services. However, I am very satisfied with the service attitude of this hotel. The staff is very friendly and can communicate with me fluently in English, which made my trip more convenient and comfortable. They always greet me with a smile, give me accurate and warm advice and make me feel very valued. Also, when I needed help to call a taxi, the hotel staff were more than happy to help and made our trip smoother. I am very grateful for their help and courtesy, which made my impression of this hotel even more impressive. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family as I am sure they will have the same great service experience.

This time I stayed at the Lotte Residences Asakusa in Tokyo. I loved it because of the panda room (hahaha). What shocked me was that when I got up on the first morning, I found that there was a temple in my room (right next to it?) , there are actually (one after another tombstones) inside. Although I said ”I'm not afraid! It's a lie”, it was still a quite interesting experience! Because in Taiwan, there is no such custom of ”getting along day and night” with the tombstones~

Panda themed hotel in a very convenient location in Ueno. It is just a few minutes away by foot to the subway lines, and it is a great place as your final hotel in Japan since the Keisei Ueno station (Skyliner to Narita) is nearby as well. Check-in was easy using a self-service kiosk with the guidance of staff. We were also given a panda themed tote bag which contained stickers and two file folders. In the hallway leading to the hotel rooms there were also edits of famous art pieces with pandas, and in the room, panda sheets, cushions and a huge plush. The hotel was refurbished just a few months back so everything was spotless. Would stay here again.
