It's a great option when city hotels are too expensive."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Before our arrival, I was concerned about potential construction work at the hotel, so I emailed them. The staff promptly assured me that major construction had been completed before our stay, and only minor decoration work was ongoing, which was very reassuring. The hotel itself is stylish and beautiful. Our room was clean and tidy, though the bathroom was a bit small. Despite the absence of air conditioning, the hotel provided a fan, which made our stay comfortable. Given the hotel's size, it would be helpful to have a map at the reception indicating the locations of rooms, lifts, and stairs to make it easier for guests to navigate the premises. We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. There were various choices, and the breakfast room was quite impressive with its glass ceiling and walls, offering a lovely view of the surroundings. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would recommend this hotel to others."

"Not only is the hotel showing its age and its former charm is barely noticeable, but the hygiene in the bathroom and room is appalling. The shower curtain was filthy at the bottom, the toilet brush (excuse me!) was so disgusting you wouldn't want to touch it, the shower fixtures were worn, and the shower head was covered in limescale. It's hard to say when the curtains were last cleaned. On Friday afternoon at 4:30 p.m., a workman started using a circular saw and hammers, even though we had requested a quiet room in advance. We tried to call reception, but the phone was unplugged and not working. Reception didn't even apologize and, after a short pause, informed us that this would continue until 7 p.m. The only friendly staff members were two Asian women who served us at breakfast. Never again!!"
