Weinhotel Rose ★★★

Hotel Tuchhaus ★★★

Romantik Hotel Zur Schwane ★★★★

"Very nice, stylish rooms. Excellent dinner with lot of flexibility by the 1404 staff. Very friendly but not stiff atmosphere by staff members. Loved the wine cellar tour. Highly recommended. Parking can be tricky, but enough parking lots around."

Ferienwohnung Storchennest ★★★

Hotel am Torturm ★★★

"I visited Zurich dozens of times during my life. I always stayed at Baur au Lac, Zum Storchen or Schweizerhof. Schweizerhof is best for a quick overnight because it’s location just across railway station makes it very practical. Baur au Lac is the most elegant and perfect for summer because of its garden. Zum Storchen has the best location, directly on the river and just 100 meters from old town. This hotel has a very small lobby, an excellent restaurant with a terrace on the Limat river where having meals is a delight because of the food and the view. We had the Life Style River Suite which consists of a small bedroom, a separate living room and a generous sized bathroom. Because it is under the roof you need to be careful not to bang your head against the diagonal roofs. For similar rate I recommend the Junior Suites which with larger windows command a better view. The hotel and its staff are impecable, WIFI works very well. Breakfast is excellent."
