"Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Our room was modern, very clean and quiet. Lovely comfortable bed. Restaurant - pub food- but very nice. I had the slow cooked beef cheeks which were melt in your mouth. Every single member of the staff were very pleasant and welcoming including the shop assistant at the BWS next to the hotel. Would definitely stay there again."

"A beautiful stone building that is being very well maintained by the owners. We stayed one night on our way back from Stanthorpe. We chose the Bazil room on the ground floor which was a lovely size, ensuite and large king bed. A separate verandah was attached that overlooked some of the gardens."

"Pub Bistro Meals - you know the type - pub classics ! Lasagne Salad and Chips / Fish Chips and salad ( or in my case I asked for vegetables ) the Lasagne (I’m told) was ‘tasty’ and the chips and salad looked ok .. the fish was HUGE .. crunchy batter looked great.. then .. the veg .. good grief .. firstly it was hard to see ,in the very dim light , what was actually on the plate .. turns out two of the veg were potato and eggplant - both ‘baked’ to a very robust char .. they were black .. I can’t tell you what the third veg was because I wasn’t game to try it - possibly carrot .. we will never know .. the plate was awash with grease - the veg had the deep fryer treatment not a baking tray and that good looking piece of fish was as dry as a long hot summer once I cracked through the thick heavy batter .. very disappointing when each of these meals were $25 each. Yep. Won’t be heading back anytime soon. You’ll find better meals at the Horse and Jockey Hotel, The Warwick RSL ( can be hit and miss ) or the Condamine Sports Club"

"We stayed one night in this charming motel. It seems maybe an older motel that has had a makeover. Furnishings are eclectic with a Japanese theme. The place is about a 5 minute drive from central Warwick . We did however have a couple of criticisms. Firstly our unit ( 5) is so dark inside. We needed to turn on all the lights to see anything. The only window is in the kitchen. Secondly no outside space, a couple of chairs by the front door is useless facing the driveway and not private. Room is very well equipped but I think one night is enough."

"We had the most wonderful stay at the Abbey Boutique Hotel. The staff made our stay so special. We were a group of 11 and we were all catered for so well. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, the food was delicious and it was the little extras like theming our private dinning room to fit in with the Great Gatsby outfits that we were all wearing. We would certainly recommend and we shall return for another stay in the future."
