The hygiene was absolutely appalling. For a high-end five-star hotel, the basic room cleaning was completely inadequate. The cleaning staff clearly didn't pay attention to detail. Their excuse was that the vacuum cleaner might not have worked properly because it was a cloudy day. You can't even get a basic clean and tidy living environment here. The value for money is extremely low. The service and hygiene definitely do not live up to its star rating and holiday prices. I highly do not recommend this hotel and will not be staying here again!"

"Overall, our stay was quite good, with excellent facilities and service. Koala, one of the front desk staff, was incredibly welcoming and proactive in asking if we needed anything during our stay. The hotel's location is also fantastic; the outdoor garden downstairs leads right to the beach, which was perfect for beachcombing. The hotel even provides free sand-digging tools, which the kids absolutely loved. It’s a great family-friendly resort. Just two minor issues: 1. The bacon at breakfast was too hard and dry. 2. There was only one tissue box in the room; it would be even better if there was another one by the bed. 👍👍👍"

"The Indigo Yantai Golden Sands is perfect for family vacations. It's right across the street from the beach, making it super convenient to take our 2-year-old to play in the sand. They even provided a set of sand toys. Plus, they offer free cribs and kids' toiletries. The hotel also has a heated pool and daily parent-child craft activities. The only minor downside is the lack of a large indoor kids' play area, and the breakfast buffet has a moderate selection. The sea view room offers an excellent view, and there are several seafood restaurants nearby, making for an overall easy and comfortable trip."

"Hotel is located in Yantai Economic Development Zone. It is a 10 minwalk/5 mins drive to Golden beach. Next to the hotel are several Chinese and Korean restaurants and some coffee shops and convenience stores. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. I stayed inanrokm which had its own small washing machine and they had thoughtfully provided a drying rack - this was very convenient during the humid summer weather. There is an excellent coffee shop on the top floor which serves good.coffee cocktails and food with stunning views over the sea. All the staff from cleaners to front desk are friendly and efficient. Breakfast is decent with good coffee and a range of options. Will definitely stay here again!"
