"I stayed at Nook Style Niseko HANAZONO. The property is new, spotless, and has a serene atmosphere that made for a very comfortable stay. The rooms are stylish, allowing you to relax while feeling the natural beauty unique to Niseko. The staff were attentive and polite, which gave me great peace of mind. While the entire hotel exudes high quality, it isn't stuffy at all, making it a wonderful place to truly unwind. It's also conveniently located as a base for enjoying skiing and sightseeing in the HANAZONO area, and I think it's a great hotel for family trips or couples' getaways. If I get the chance, I would definitely love to stay here again."

The interior was good, very clean.
Convenience stores are also close, so it was convenient to use and self check-in / check-out was more convenient.
It was a kitchen and a washing machine that could be cooked simple, so it was good for a long stay.

"The hotel is conveniently located in the international arrivals hall. After exiting, turn right, walk past the Lawson convenience store, and continue straight to the end. Take the elevator to the fourth floor, and you'll arrive at the hotel lobby. They offered a welcome drink during check-in. The room was spacious and even offered a view of the planes. The soundproofing was excellent. There's only one smoking room on the fourth floor, which you pass by on the way to the hot spring. The hot spring area has a large pool, which I suspect isn't a natural hot spring, a cold plunge pool, and a sauna, but no outdoor hot spring. Overall, it was a great experience, perfect for those with an early morning flight the next day or anyone arriving after a long journey looking to recharge. I especially loved the slippers in the room; they definitely deserve a thumbs up!"

"It was a great experience staying in this hotel, which is located in the downtown. Hotel staffs are quite cordial and polite. Breakfast contains many items -- Japanese as well as Western; all delicious. Overall it was great, and I fully recommend others."

"Location: Tucked away in a quiet spot in downtown Sapporo, it's a moderate distance from the subway – about a 10-minute walk to Odori Station and 15-20 minutes to Sapporo Station. It's next to an office building, so it's pretty quiet, and while there aren't many dining options, there's a FamilyMart convenience store nearby.
Room Design: The hotel has a Japanese Zen-inspired style with a hint of sandalwood, giving it an artistic vibe. The rooms also feature a Japanese tatami design. The amenities are on par with a typical budget hotel, making the value for money a bit low.
Onsen (Hot Spring) and Public Bath Facilities: The public bath is really small, with only one hot spring pool and one sauna. The pool isn't large, and there's no open-air bath, which feels a bit underwhelming for a hotel calling itself an 'onsen hotel.'
Service: Overall, the staff attitude was quite good, and the front desk staff spoke decent English. This hotel seems to have more foreign tourists than Japanese guests."

"The Odyssey Sapporo Odori Park Hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Odori Park. The surrounding area is quiet, making for a peaceful and comfortable stay. We were incredibly lucky to be there during the Sapporo Beer Garden festival, with the event grounds right outside the hotel, which made getting around and enjoying ourselves incredibly convenient. This was also the hotel where we stayed the longest in Sapporo. Considering it was peak summer travel season, the price we got was outstanding, offering exceptional value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall, we were very satisfied. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Sapporo."

"This hotel is great! The location is convenient, just a short walk to major attractions, which saves a lot of time whether you're taking a taxi or running errands. Overall, I think the environment is pretty good, but I did notice one small issue: there was quite a bit of dust on the clothes hangers in the room, which needs attention. Other areas seemed mostly fine, and it wasn't too uncomfortable to stay there. What I liked most was the breakfast; there was a wide variety of items. While there weren't many Western breakfast options, what they had was delicious."

LLiduoxiliaolinuolisiI'd call this unbeatable. First off, the front desk service was truly above and beyond my expectations. It was snowing heavily, and the bellhop was still waiting outside for guests to arrive, helping with luggage. The outdoor private onsen in the room was also exceptional; the view and atmosphere were incredible. The breakfast, with its unbeatable ocean view, topped it all off. I had a wonderful day in Hakodate!

The service, I found, was just right. The way staff would nod and smile every time I entered, that subtle presence of 'we're here if you need us' felt really good. Almost all facilities have no time limits (except for the sauna which closes at midnight), so no need to rush for showers or the gym. It's perfect for night owls to quietly explore the hotel at any time! The lounge always has replenished snacks and drinks, and public spaces are always tidied up. Of course, this assumes everyone helps maintain a quiet atmosphere.
The room layout was smooth, quiet, and conducive to good sleep. The air conditioning and all other facilities were noise-free. The flowing private hot spring was the best white noise for falling asleep. The room lighting was also perfectly designed! I really slept well, so checking out at 11 am was a bit difficult. It would be perfect if check-out could be at 12 pm!
Even in summer, it's not boring at all. Although the Summer Lantern Festival isn't a huge event, it's still interesting! At least it's great for photos! I'd honestly love to come back in winter to experience the incredible snowy scenery! There are two young men who speak Chinese, and they are both very nice, so language communication isn't much of a worry.
Friends who have stayed here also said Ivy was a pleasant surprise, a place that feels like home during their travels.
However, to be honest, the dining was neither particularly good nor bad; nothing surprising there. My review might be subjective, but I genuinely love Ivy.

ProcessTo improve the check-in experience, it would be helpful if the hotel could request guests to provide their passport details in advance. This would allow for a smoother and faster check-in, without the need for guests to go back and forth to their cars in the freezing temperatures just to take photos for the registration process.

Even though the hotel had implemented the CCTV audio system to provide clear instructions, the language barrier appears to have caused some confusion for me during the check-out. This can be a common challenge, especially in more remote locations where the staff may not be as fluent in English.

Since our group requires halal food, it's understandable that we did not include the breakfast option in our package. The hotel could consider offering more diverse breakfast options to cater to different dietary needs in the future.
Luggage Handling and Car Access
One of the key issues we faced was the need to transport our luggage from the parking area to the unit using carts, rather than being able to drive our car closer to the entrance. This was especially challenging given the freezing -10°C temperatures at night .To improve this, it would be greatly appreciated if the hotel could allow guests to drive our cars closer to the entrance, even if just temporarily, to drop off the luggage. This would avoid the need for guests, especially those traveling with elderly or young children, to struggle with pushing heavy carts through the frigid weather.
Scenery
Despite the challenges, the stunning winter scenery at Auberge Ninguruforet seems to have made up for it. The -8°C temperature that morning must have created a true winter wonderland, with the beautiful snow-covered landscapes and crisp, clear skies. This picturesque setting is surely a highlight of your stay.Overall, with some improvements to the location accessibility, check-in/out procedures, and guest services, Auberge Ninguruforet could provide an even more enjoyable experience, especially for larger groups traveling with families. The breathtaking winter scenery, however, remains a major draw for this property.
We will surely come again to Auberge Ninguruforet, this time leaving our larger luggage in the car and only carrying the essentials we need for our stay in our backpacks. This will allow us to avoid the hassle of transporting heavy bags through the frigid weather, and instead focus on enjoying the stunning winter scenery.By packing light and only bringing what we need for the duration of our visit, we can easily move between our car and the hotel entrance without the struggle of pushing carts through the snow. This will make the check-in and check-out process much smoother, especially for our group with elderly and young family members.Despite the minor inconveniences we experienced previously, the breathtaking winter wonderland at Auberge Ninguruforet remains a major draw for us. We look forward to returning, better prepared to handle the cold temperatures, and immersing ourselves in the serene, picturesque setting that this property offers. With a few adjustments to our packing and luggage management, we are confident our next stay will be an even more enjoyable and memorable experience.

You can tell it's an older, established hotel, and the facilities are still quite convenient. The front desk wasn't particularly warm, and the service was just average. Also, they didn't provide any extra bottled water, which I found really unacceptable.

JJanetPWe recently stayed at Furano Winery Hitohana Hotel and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The hotel exceeded our expectations in many aspects, and I would like to commend the team for providing such a comfortable and welcoming stay.
One of the biggest highlights was the thoughtful range of complimentary amenities. Having free washing machines and dryers was incredibly convenient, especially for travellers on longer trips. The onsen was clean, relaxing and well maintained, and we appreciated the complimentary green tea, roasted green tea, lemon water and drinking water available outside the onsen, which made the experience even more refreshing.
The staff were consistently warm, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were always willing to assist whenever we had questions, which made us feel genuinely welcomed.
Our room was spacious, quiet and very well equipped. The kitchenette was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare simple meals. We were also pleasantly surprised that the hotel had already prepared a proper bed for the third person in our group before our arrival. The refrigerator included a freezer compartment, which was particularly useful for storing ice cream and frozen food that we purchased during our trip.
We also appreciated that complimentary coffee and tea were available throughout our stay. One of the most memorable experiences was the daily complimentary wine tasting during happy hour. As an added bonus, the hotel also provided us with a voucher to redeem a complimentary bottle of wine at Furano Winery, which was a wonderful gesture and a unique way to showcase the local winery.
While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, I hope the hotel will consider a few areas for improvement.
The hotel's location is slightly away from central Furano, so having a car is highly recommended. This was not a major issue for us, but guests relying on public transport may find it less convenient.
The parking arrangement could also be improved. The car park is located about a three-minute walk uphill from the hotel. While the distance itself is manageable, the walking path consists of loose stones without a proper pavement. At night, the area is very dark, and during rainy weather, it can become slippery and potentially hazardous, particularly for elderly guests or those with mobility issues. Additional lighting and a paved walkway would greatly improve both safety and accessibility.
Lastly, although breakfast was enjoyable, we found the selection somewhat limited compared to other hotels we have stayed at in Furano. For example, during our previous stay at La Vista Furano, the breakfast offered a wider variety of Japanese specialties, including fresh sashimi and Furano melon, as well as complimentary late-night soba, which created a more memorable dining experience. At Furano Winery Hitohana, the breakfast leaned more towards Western offerings. Expanding the selection of local Japanese dishes and regional specialties would further enhance the overall guest experience.
Despite these suggestions, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend Furano Winery Hitohana Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, spacious and comfortable accommodation in Furano. The generous complimentary amenities, excellent service and thoughtful hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit such an enjoyable one.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is conveniently located in the international arrivals hall. After exiting, turn right, walk past the Lawson convenience store, and continue straight to the end. Take the elevator to the fourth floor, and you'll arrive at the hotel lobby. They offered a welcome drink during check-in. The room was spacious and even offered a view of the planes. The soundproofing was excellent. There's only one smoking room on the fourth floor, which you pass by on the way to the hot spring. The hot spring area has a large pool, which I suspect isn't a natural hot spring, a cold plunge pool, and a sauna, but no outdoor hot spring. Overall, it was a great experience, perfect for those with an early morning flight the next day or anyone arriving after a long journey looking to recharge. I especially loved the slippers in the room; they definitely deserve a thumbs up!

Dining: The buffet offers and impressive variety of local dishes alongside beautifully plated mains. Even when busy, the staff sustematically managed the seating, ensuring we enjoyed the stunning winter views comfortably. The Hokkaido cheese pizza and dessert are absolute must-tries.
Location and Service: Perfectly situated in the heart of the sightseeing district, with famous sweet shop right nearby. The complimentary valet parking and polight, perfessional staff made our stay seamless.

Atmosphere: The common areas can feel a bit crowded due to its popularity.
Design: The room interiors are a bit outdated and lean toward very dark tones, and notably, Netflix is not available on the in-room TV.
Note: Windows are fixed; ventilation is managed via the onsen balcony door.

For a few extra hundred yuan, we were upgraded to larger rooms at the front desk, which was great value for money, and the hotel felt very new. However, the bathroom in one of the rooms seemed like it hadn't been cleaned – the hairdryer cord wasn't tidied, the toilet paper wasn't folded into a triangle, and the stainless steel showerhead and mirror were full of water stains. Apart from the cleaning issue, we were quite satisfied with the room facilities.
