"Great location conveniently located near food and leisure activities. Clean and comfy. Initially had a noisy room in tower 1 and was shifted to tower 2 once request was made. Unfortunately the bathtub kept leaking resulting in the toilet being flooded all the time. Other than that was a good stay. Had PTSD from staying at berjaya waterfront hotel the last time."

"Don't book the pirate-themed room on the first floor; any room on higher floors would be better. The first floor reeked of paint, probably due to some renovation work. The pool on the fifth floor is tiny, not really a must-do. The room cleanliness was just okay, but since it was my first time staying at a LEGOLAND Hotel, I didn't fuss over the small details and was just happy to be there. The room came with a LEGO build kit. The breakfast wasn't as good as the Shanghai LEGOLAND, more suited to Indian tastes."

"One of our favourite hotel choices for a short getaway to JB! 😊 Holiday Villa is conveniently located near shopping malls, eateries and massage options, making it really convenient for a relaxing weekend trip. It’s definitely even more worth it when you manage to snag a good deal on Trip.com too! ✨ One thing to take note of if you’ve already prepaid your booking online: do double-check the charges with the front desk during check-in. In our case, we were asked to pay the tourist tax again even though we had already paid it online. A deposit is understandable, but it’s worth checking to make sure you’re not paying the same charge twice. For the bathroom, our room had a handheld shower attached to the bathtub, so showering meant having to stand in the bathtub. We noticed that quite a bit of water could spill onto the bathroom floor, and there didn’t seem to be a proper floor trap to drain it quickly. It may be useful to request a few extra floor towels to help absorb the water and keep the floor dry. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider Holiday Villa again for a convenient JB weekend getaway! 🌴✨"

"Liked the good water pressure & firm bedding during my stay. Have been staying at this hotel for multiple times already. Breakfast not much selections the staff in kitchen need to be trained to cook sunny side up eggs. We stayed 2 nights each day the sunny side up eggs still failed lol. Hope the coffee machine changed to those with cappuccino or teh terik."

"Nice hotel and clean room, but hotel does not seem ready for operation or they’ve manpower issues. When we arrived on Friday afternoon there was nobody at the reception area, I had to walk around and finally found a staff outside. He then helped us to contact his colleague, who then told us to proceed to another level. Bfast option was very limited and similarly they seemed understaffed. Location was secluded, there were no amenities around. Overall nice concept (if you like airplanes) and place is clean/new."

"First time trying Sunway big box . The room is spacious and well maintained. It has a water dispenser which is located near the lift area. There are many eateries just below the hotel and there is also NSK for those who want to shop for groceries. You can also take the link bridge that will lead you to a mall. There are a few eateries at the mall and also GSV for those who want to watch movies. There is also Padini , sports direct etc for shopping. Pls take note this is not a big mall. For a quiet short getaway this will be a good choice . Having said that the breakfast was a disappointment there were no pancakes , steam pau and choices of bread is basically nothing much. The Indian dhal has a taste of over cooked. After requesting to clean my room at the reception at 2pm it was not done when we came back at 530pm. We were there not during the peak period not sure what went wrong despite the reception indicated in the system. I doubt I will be coming back here again."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Our only regret is that we stayed for just one night. We really wish we had booked at least two nights! The facilities were amazing, and the surrounding area was peaceful and relaxing. There are also plenty of food shops within walking distance, which was very convenient. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our check-in process was smooth, and everything went well throughout our stay. The parking was free, safe, and easy to access, which was another plus. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again❤️"

"Check in was smooth, deposit required. Quite an old hotel showing it's age. Room was not cleaned well on 2nd day, could see floor wasn't swept. Basic amenities provided. Bidet spray was missing the head and the bracket was half broken. Mid water pressure & lukewarm temperature for shower. Fridge was cold. One of the few hotels that has smoking rooms. Restaurant staff was great. Breakfast was acceptable altho no live egg station. There's a gym with a nice view. Location was good. Not in town but not far by grab, lots of eateries and mini marts within 5 minutes walk. There's a 7-11 in the mall attached to the hotel. Other than that, not much in the mall."

Great
JjisooyaaaThe room was fine, though it was dusty and there were old toothpaste stains in the bathroom. However, that is nothing compared to the major safety and privacy violation we experienced. The service and management were completely unacceptable. Our room's mini fridge was broken. We called maintenance, but after waiting for 30 minutes, no one showed up. Since we had a strict dinner reservation, we had to leave, keeping our 'Do Not Disturb' (DND) sign clearly displayed on the door.Later, the staff called us saying they were at our room. I explicitly asked them to wait 3 minutes for us to return. Instead, they entered our room without permission while the DND sign was up and changed the fridge. This is a severe breach of privacy and security. If anything goes missing from our room, who is going to take responsibility? Very unprofessional and untrustworthy.

HHappySoulThe outlook of the hotel looks great but the inside the room not so favorable. There was blood stain on bedsheet, and aircon one moment warm, one moment super cold … not sure what to think of it 🥲 The bed, not so comfortable to sleep on and very low level, for elderly not really good for them Room size is small and a little squeeze for 2 persons. The bathroom lights are too dim Breakfast wise, not so fantastic. Would recommend eat out since near by have many eatery options

PPoppy LeeI had a one night stay here from 27 to 28 August 2026. Overall, the stay was fine, with several positive aspects, although there are also some areas that could be improved. Firstly, the hotel is very conveniently located and directly connected to The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey. This makes it very convenient for shopping, as you can easily return to your room to put down your purchases before heading back to the mall. The service was also good overall, and the staff I encountered were polite and helpful. I also felt safe during my stay as there were quite a number of security guards stationed around the hotel, which gave me a good sense of security. The hotel facilities are generally fine, although I hope the operating hours can be extended. The gym currently operates from 7am to 11pm, while the swimming pool operates from 7am to 7pm. It would be great if the gym could operate 24 hours and the swimming pool could remain open later. The rooftop swimming pool offers a decent view. However, the pool, especially the baby pool, was quite dirty during my visit. There was visible sand and debris on the floor of the pool, which could be cleaned more regularly. The gym was unfortunately quite disappointing. When I visited, both treadmills were not working. In addition, all of the cardio machines were not connected to the electrical outlets, which made them basically unusable. I hope the hotel can improve the maintenance of the gym equipment and ensure that all machines are functional for guests. The room itself was generally fine, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The shower water pressure was a little weak, and even after adjusting the shower to a warmer temperature, the water remained cold. The window in my room was also very dirty, which affected the view from the room. It would be better if the hotel could check the water pressure and hot water system, as well as ensure that the room windows are cleaned more regularly. On a positive note, there is a water dispenser located at both ends of each floor, which makes it convenient for guests to refill their drinking water. Each guest is also provided with two complimentary welcome drinks that can be redeemed at the rooftop view bar and lounge, which is a nice addition to the stay. Lastly, the breakfast buffet selection was quite limited, particularly in terms of fried options. I also noticed that some of the plates and bowls were not properly cleaned, which could definitely be improved. Overall, the hotel has an excellent and convenient location, polite staff, a good sense of security, and decent facilities. However, improvements in cleanliness, facility maintenance, operating hours, shower facilities, and breakfast variety would make the overall experience much better.

GGuest UserMy stay in Johor Bahru this time was quite pleasant; the hotel generally exceeded my expectations. The room was relatively spacious for Malaysia, and the cleanliness was good, with a very comfortable bed. It was convenient to find places to eat downstairs and nearby, and taking a taxi to the mall wasn't far either. The front desk processed check-in quickly, and their service attitude was friendly. Overall, it offers great value for money, perfect for a short stay or a weekend getaway in Johor Bahru.

DDTSgThe location is a short walk from rnf mall however if you have elderly, it may not be convenient as you need to cross the road on 1st day to check in. Saw the overhead bridge but the guard said need access card first. Since we hadn't got access card, need to walk across and along a stretch of road to reach the block. After that, we took grab all the time as elderly may not be able to walk too long and on slopes. Condo was nice, but rubbish area may need to be more clean. We could smell it along the corridor. The door chain lock was spoilt. 2 doors at front entrance, inside the unit was quite clean and meet our needs. Can do light cooking saw pan. Microwave, kettle and cutlery etc. Rooms were quite clean but toilets had some smell, brought toilet spray. Mosquitoes are common, pls bring insect repellent too even in unit. Every room has aircon so it's OK. Living room is nice with nice view from balcony seeing the sea and boats! Overall gd experience but don't expect it to be like hotel. It's Airbnb. Swimming was noisy with kids, gym was busy too. We didn't swim or use gym but we walked around on viewing deck to watch boats.

RRickyzaimamaThis has to be the worst Four Points by Sheraton I've ever stayed at 😅. The decor is on par with a 200-300 RMB budget hotel in China; only the lobby and corridors look somewhat decent. The soundproofing is abysmal. You can feel the floor vibrating when kids run and jump upstairs... and the constant hum of the air conditioning unit kept me awake all night. The hygiene was terrible; there were crumbs on the floor, and I even found a balloon left by a previous guest when I lay on the bed... The trash can in the bathroom was also very dirty... My first task after checking in was to clean the room with sanitary wipes. The only redeeming quality is its proximity to a supermarket, which was convenient for buying things.

TTentenAmaiodinThe unit is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed is bouncy and we slept well. The place also comes with useful amenities like a fridge, electric stove, oven, iron and hair dryer. However, there is no water dispenser or water filter provided. Basic utensils such as plates, spoons and bread knives are available, but there are no forks, bowls or other cooking tools, so you may need to bring your own or purchase separately if you plan to cook. The downside was the check-in experience. We were only given the access card without the bedroom key, and ended up stuck outside for almost an hour trying to figure out how to enter. The owner’s response was quite late, which made the situation frustrating. The TV in the room was also not functioning. On the positive side, the owner did allow a late check-out at 1pm. Overall, the stay was comfortable after settling in, but the initial access issue and late response affected the first impression.

MmochietteHotel located very close to the checkpoint area. Nice room with a decent amount of space, staff were helpful with all queries. It’s right next to a small mall with eateries available plus supermarket and a Watsons at basement level. Easy to get cabs to go elsewhere in JB. Hotel check-in counter is on level 5.
