"This is my third stay at Sunway Pyramid Hotel, it's a reliable choice for business trips. Its strengths are the transportation and amenities: the BRT connection is convenient, and the mall downstairs offers everything from street food to proper meals, so you don't have to worry about late-night snacks after working overtime. The room is decent, with a large desk, plenty of power outlets, and stable internet. The gym and pool help maintain my routine during business travel. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. The value for money is excellent for the western part of Kuala Lumpur."

Both my parents and children were very satisfied. We could easily access the Wanda Shopping Center directly through a passage next to the hotel, without having to brave the sun, which was very convenient."

"The hotel facilities are satisfactory, and the pool and gym equipment are well-maintained. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety of options, and the taste is suitable for Hongkongers. It's super convenient to get to the theme park, just across the road. Walking to the mall only takes about three minutes, and there are plenty of restaurant choices inside. However, transportation is a bit inconvenient; I'd basically recommend taking a taxi to get there."

It's very convenient- the location, the hospitality, the amenities, the food, and the city view of Masjid Shah Alam. I can also hear Azan from the masjid- very calming. "Pls have a look if you are planning to book this hotel. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had at a 5-STAR HOTEL! The problems started from the moment I arrived. During check-in, the receptionist told me that the system was down and was unable to check me in. After trying & waiting for a while, she switched to another computer to complete the check-in. I had to wait around 7 mins just for what should have been a simple check-in. After finally getting my room key, I thought I could finally go to my room and rest at around 6:30 PM. Unfortunately, things only got worse. My initial room was on the 5th/6th floor (can’t remember exactly). When I entered, I was shocked to find that the room had clearly not been cleaned or prepared at all. It was basically left in the same condition as the previous guest had left it. The rubbish had not been cleared, the bedsheet had not been changed, and the blanket was even lying on the floor. The room was dirty & messy, which completely ruined my mood. I immediately tried to contact reception using the room phone, but the phone system also appeared to have a problem. I called three times without answering and only managed to get through on the fourth attempt. When I explained the situation, the receptionist sounded confused and seemed unaware of what had happened. I requested a room change and was told to come back down to reception. When I arrived, the staff there also seemed unaware of the situation. I had to explain everything again. One staff member then went to another staff member, who came over and asked me again what had happened. At that point, I was already very tired and frustrated from having to repeat the same explanation multiple times. After waiting for quite some time, I was told that there were no more king-size rooms available and that they could only offer me a twin room. By then, I was exhausted and simply wanted to rest, so I accepted it. Considering that the initial room was not ready due to the hotel’s own housekeeping issue, I honestly expected at least some gesture of goodwill, such as a complimentary upgrade or compensation. But that was fine. I was eventually assigned Room 719. Before I left reception, the staff simply said “sorry.” The housekeeping situation was especially disappointing. I arrived at around 6:30 PM, while the hotel’s check-out time is 12 PM. There should have been plenty of time for the room to be cleaned and prepared. Yet I was given a room that had apparently not been serviced at all. I could even see housekeeping staff walking around the floor. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel and room was also far from satisfactory. The facilities looked old and poorly maintained, with peeling wallpaper, a damaged chair cushion, dirty carpets, and an air-conditioning system with a noticeable mouldy smell. The lobby looks reasonably well renovated, but the condition behind the surface is a completely different story. For a hotel that has only been operating for a little over 10 years, the level of deterioration and lack of maintenance is difficult to accept. What disappointed me most was that this was not just one isolated issue. The check-in process was inefficient, communication between staff was poor, the room was not ready, housekeeping was inadequate, and the room itself was poorly maintained. This was honestly one of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced."

"I had a wonderful stay at Tenera Hotel Bangi. The hotel offers a very comfortable and pleasant environment, with spacious, clean and well-maintained rooms. The bed was comfortable, and the room was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth and the overall service was excellent. I also enjoyed the hotel facilities, especially the swimming pool and the spacious common areas. The breakfast had a good variety of choices and the location is convenient for those visiting Bangi, Putrajaya and the surrounding areas. Overall, Tenera Hotel provides a very comfortable and relaxing experience with excellent service and good value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"The place was pretty clean, just a bit noisy when the room in front was being renovated. The location is close to UKM campus, so Grab fares aren't too expensive. There are restaurants in front and behind the hotel, which is quite convenient for meals."
