However, overall the cleanliness and the size of the room is amazing, and the price is totally reasonable. The location is great as well just one station to Amsterdam Centraal station. Recommend to everyone who is traveling to Amsterdam."

"There are three Ibis hotels near the airport, distinguished by red, green, and blue. All three are about a 10-minute drive from Amsterdam Airport. They offer a convenient airport shuttle bus service. The front desk staff are also friendly, and you can store your luggage for free before check-in. While the room wasn't huge, it was clean and functional overall. Perfectly fine for a solo traveler."

"We arrived and were told we could check in at 2 PM. We went into town, and when we returned around 3:30 PM, the room still hadn't been cleaned. Luckily, we received two complimentary drinks as compensation. Once in the room, we found the curtain was broken, leaving a gap where light streamed in. The TV by the bathtub wasn't working, and the shower kept fluctuating between hot and cold. We reported these issues in the late afternoon, and someone was supposedly coming to fix them. We went out again and returned after a couple of hours, only to find the curtain still broken. We went back to reception, but the maintenance team had already left. Since we didn't want to be woken up by light, a staff member eventually went to try and fix it themselves, but unfortunately, they couldn't. Despite these unpleasant circumstances, I would still recommend the hotel. It's a nice hotel, but the staff aren't always as efficient as they could be."

"1. **Room:** A bit small, but perfectly adequate for one person. It had air conditioning, an electric kettle (which looked like blue and white porcelain), adjustable lighting, and more. The facilities were relatively new and well-maintained, with no hidden spots for dirt. If I indicated I didn't need my room cleaned by hanging the 'green' eco-friendly sign, they wouldn't clean it, and in return, I'd get a soft drink voucher for the bar. I used a voucher once to get a sparkling juice from the 2nd-floor bar. **Problem:** Replenishing essential supplies was inconsistent. The tissue box wasn't refilled when I checked in, with only a few tissues left. I mentioned it in the evening and again the next morning, but it wasn't until I went to the front desk a second time on the next evening that it was finally restocked. The same went for towels; I asked twice, and they still weren't changed a day later. Finally, on the third attempt at the front desk, they were replaced. This only happened when I dealt with Southeast Asian front desk staff; when I spoke to European staff, replacements arrived within 10 minutes. Towels and bathrobes also had to be requested; if you didn't ask, you wouldn't get them. The provided bedding, towels, and bathrobes were all quite old, not bright white, and not starched. 2. **Breakfast:** The food was plentiful, the service warm, and food items were refilled promptly, as were used dishes cleared away quickly. Again, the Southeast Asian staff weren't as enthusiastic and didn't greet me as readily, whereas the European staff were equally pleasant to everyone. The restaurant is on the 17th floor with great views. It's quite large, beautifully decorated, and has two serving stations, which is very convenient. There are also two large outdoor terraces perfect for enjoying the view or dining al fresco. On my check-out day, after breakfast, I bid farewell to the European staff, and they even gave me a special hotel lollipop, saying they hoped I'd visit again. 3. The second floor has a lovely, comfortable lounge area and a bar with a somewhat 'creative/cultural' aesthetic in its decor. 4. In spring, there's a direct bus to Keukenhof from the bus plaza below the hotel. You can buy round-trip tickets online. If you're staying at or near the hotel, you can take the bus directly, saving you a trip to Central Station. 5. **Transportation:** There are several train, metro, and bus options nearby. Given how punctual public transport is in the Netherlands, it's very easy to plan your sightseeing. All stations are within a few minutes' walk. 6. **Supermarket and Restaurants:** There's a Dirk supermarket a few minutes away. Near the hotel, there are various restaurants, including Western options like Italian, and Southeast Asian cuisine."

"The hotel isn't in the city center, but getting around by metro is super convenient, and Amsterdam isn't a huge city anyway. It's a 5-minute walk from the metro station, and the path is pretty flat, which is great when you're dragging luggage. (Picture 1 shows the view from the metro exit.) Rooms are cleaned daily. There aren't any individual shampoo, conditioner, or toothbrushes, just a single shower gel, but that's pretty standard for European hotels. The pillows are quite high but not hard; I found them easy to sink into and comfortable. The Wi-Fi speed was good most of the time. I couldn't find an on/off switch for the air conditioning, only temperature adjustments. The motion-sensor light in the bathroom was a bit funny – it would go dark after a few minutes! The staff were friendly and efficient. Other than check-in, check-out, and storing luggage, I didn't interact with them much. Luggage storage is free, which is a nice perk. After checking out, there's a restroom, sofa, and charging ports on the ground floor, which is perfect for a quick refresh before heading to the airport. There aren't many restaurants nearby, so it's a good idea to eat before heading back. Although the room isn't huge, the bed is small and the layout is well-designed, making it surprisingly functional. We could open two large suitcases at once. Overall, it's quite similar to a budget hotel back home, but prices are bound to vary due to location, especially during tulip season when they definitely go up. For the price, it's still decent value for money."

"I stayed at ibis Budget Amsterdam City South for one night during my visit to Amsterdam, and overall it was a good choice for anyone looking to keep accommodation costs down in what can be a very expensive city. The main reason I chose this hotel was the price. Compared with many hotels in central Amsterdam, it offered much better value, making it an attractive option for a short stay. While it is located a little way outside the city centre, I found this wasn't really a problem thanks to the excellent transport connections. The hotel is situated right next to Kronenburg tram stop, making it very easy to travel into central Amsterdam. Public transport was straightforward and reliable, so despite not staying in the heart of the city, getting around was simple and stress-free. My room was basic, which is exactly what you would expect from an ibis Budget property. It wasn't luxurious, but it was clean, comfortable, and perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. Since I was mainly out exploring the city, I didn't need anything more elaborate. I would recommend ibis Budget Amsterdam City South to travellers who prioritise value over location. If you're happy to stay slightly outside the centre and use public transport, you can save a considerable amount of money while still enjoying easy access to everything Amsterdam has to offer. For a one-night stay, it provided exactly what I needed at a reasonable price."

"This was an amazing hotel – super clean and with spacious rooms! I initially thought the location might be a bit inconvenient since it's a little far from Amsterdam Centraal Station, but it turned out to be fine as I could easily get to the museum quarter and the station with just one tram. The surrounding area felt like a residential neighborhood, so it was very quiet, and I never heard any noise from other guests inside the hotel. I suppose the half-open shower might be a bit unusual for Japanese people, but I guess that's part of the charm of traveling in Europe! The staff were also very friendly, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. I would definitely love to stay here again if I get the chance to visit Amsterdam in the future!"

"There's a water refill station downstairs, and the location is super convenient to both the train station and the Flexibus stop. Bus 19 takes you directly to the museum, and then it's just a short walk. The room was spacious and quiet, and the staff were really friendly. My only minor complaint is that the cleaning could have been a bit more thorough; I found a clothing tag from a previous guest by the window, and the cups hadn't been washed."

"The location is pretty good, not far from the central station, though it still takes about 15-20 minutes to walk. There's a bike rental shop downstairs (open until 6 PM). The room cleanliness was decent, tidy and neat. Room service was prompt and responsive. Downside: Even though I booked a room with a view, the view outside the window was blocked. I wasn't given a room facing the train station. Ctrip needs to improve its verification of the authenticity of room photos."
