"Dear Hotel Management, I recently stayed at your hotel for two days and overall had a comfortable experience. However, I unfortunately lost a valuable item (a necklace) during my stay. I am writing this because I had some difficulty communicating smoothly with the hotel staff regarding this matter. On the evening of the 20th, I placed my necklace on the desk and did not wear it while touring on the 21st. Thinking my companion had packed it, I only realized it was missing after checking out, and I contacted the hotel immediately. When I called, the hotel simply stated that they checked and found nothing, without offering to contact me if it is found later. "The hotel's location is excellent, right next to a subway exit with an elevator, so there's no need to worry if you have a lot of luggage. There's a large supermarket and convenience stores nearby, which is very convenient. The staff were all very friendly too, thank you for your hospitality. Most importantly, the breakfast was fantastic! Being able to have a seafood rice bowl (kaisendon) for breakfast was incredibly lucky! It's definitely a hotel that ranks first for breakfast, I truly love it. If I come to Osaka again, I will definitely choose to stay here!"

"This was our second stay at Hotel Monterey Grasmere, and this time I opted for a city view room since it was available. The view overlooking Osaka was fantastic and definitely worth it. One of the biggest reasons we returned is the hotel’s unbeatable convenience. Although it’s about an 8–15 minute walk to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi, having both the train station and OCAT right next door makes getting around incredibly easy. Taking the airport limousine bus from OCAT was also a much more relaxed and hassle-free experience compared to navigating the train with luggages and the usual crowds. It’s a convenience we really appreciated."

"This is a great hotel! The breakfast was delicious, and having mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and natto (fermented soybeans) was a huge plus. For a 3-star hotel, the selection was quite extensive. I highly recommend adding breakfast when you book if you have time, otherwise, adding it on arrival for 1800 yen is a bit pricey. Finding the hotel was a bit challenging. Don't trust the map's exit 7; it's only useful if you're taking the Osaka Metro and exiting from the very back of the train at the platform! If you're not using the Osaka Metro, the easiest way is to exit from the central exit and head towards the APA Hotel (it's very tall and easy to spot). I got lost for half an hour after exiting the JR station before I finally found it!! I suggest the hotel updates its website with this information; a directionally challenged person like me would be incredibly grateful!"

"This is my second time staying at this hotel. My first stay was last March. During check-in, the front desk staff asked if I needed a 'ryoshūsho' (receipt). Since I hadn't used Japanese in a while, I didn't quite catch it at first. The staff quickly rephrased it in Chinese as 'fapiao' (invoice), which made me feel that their service was very professional. I chose this hotel again this year, and the staff are still very welcoming. I wonder if Mr. Kumita (I think that was his name) still works here... Overall, the hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway. It's not far from Umeda to the north or Namba and Dotonbori to the south. There are also many highly-rated restaurants on Tabelog nearby, satisfying all your entertainment, shopping, and dining needs."

"Stayed at the hotel for almost three weeks. The location is very good for the price. The hotel itself may not be the newest, but it’s quite well thought out. Overall it’s quiet, though sometimes I was woken up by sirens since there’s a police station nearby and a fire station a bit further away. The reception is good, housekeeping is good, and the breakfasts are decent. Also, note that the hotel is close to metro stations on both the purple and green lines. The purple line (near the 7-Eleven) goes directly to Umeda, from where you can easily reach Kyoto and Kobe, and from Tennoji you can get to Nara. The green line will take you to the aquarium. I went to Osaka Castle almost every day because it’s so close - highly recommend visiting it in the evening, around 8 PM. It’s a great experience: very few people and the castle looks amazing when illuminated. There are also McDonald’s and Burger King nearby with self-service kiosks that accept ICOCA and Suica, just like the 7-Eleven and other nearby convenience stores. I especially recommend evening walks from the hotel to Dotonbori via Hommachi. Along the way you’ll pass boutiques with beautiful displays, including luxury car showrooms."

"Very quiet and the hotel's location is excellent, really easy to find. It's super convenient, only about a 10-minute walk to Shinsaibashi. There's a convenience store downstairs, less than 5 minutes away, perfect for late-night snacks. I'd definitely book here again on my next visit."

Coming from Kansai Airport, you do have to transfer a few times on the subway. However, the hotel is very close to Juso Station, about a 6-7 minute walk. Juso Station has a food street, so dining is super convenient! It's not crowded around at night, so sleeping is very, very quiet! There's a convenience store at the intersection, and Don Quijote is just across the main road! There's also Daikoku Drugstore nearby! Although breakfast is simple, it changes a bit every day, which shows a lot of thought. You'll definitely be full and satisfied! The lobby also has vending machines with beer, drinks, and ice cream! All your normal needs can be met here! Personally, I think even though the location is a little out of the way, it makes up for it in value for money, and transferring subways is still very convenient~

This hotel is super conveniently located directly across from Universal Studios, less than a 2-minute walk away. There's a Sushiro and a food street nearby, along with various Lawson convenience stores. What I loved most was the self-service laundry machine; after a day out, I could wash and dry my clothes, and they came out perfectly flat. The machine even comes with detergent and fabric softener, so my clothes smelled great and felt fluffy. There's also a microwave and an ice machine, so I could heat up the sandwiches I bought for breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it's more Japanese-style with salmon and avocado rice, plus many other options. Overall, it was fantastic!

This hotel is conveniently located near the airport, with the shuttle bus taking about 15 minutes to get there. The front desk staff spoke the best English I've encountered at any hotel, and there were even staff members who spoke Chinese, all very professional. The room was incredibly spacious and grand, just like what you'd find in a hotel in China. From the hotel, you can see the sea right next to the airport. You can walk to the outlet mall, it's not far, and there's a lovely seaside promenade next to the outlets. I'd highly recommend it for those catching an early flight or who have just arrived at Osaka Airport and need to refresh. There's a Lawson convenience store right downstairs, which is very handy.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel's location is super convenient, and the room was spacious, bright, and very clean. The bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby all night. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help with anything I needed. Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The facilities are excellent, offering great value for money, and I truly felt at home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time and highly recommend it!

Right next to the busiest tourist area in Osaka and with access to large number of facilities., Spaworld is surely a top choice to stay. But actually, the day ticket only costs 1500 yen and overnight staying fee is 1300 yen, which means you don't really need to stay in the hotel to use everything and stay for a night, kind of like a SPA net cafe. The plus for using the hotel is that you allow yourself to enter anytime you want.

The room was quite small, but clean, probably around 12 square meters. Once my 28-inch suitcase was open, there was hardly any space to walk around. There's a Lawson convenience store downstairs, which made getting a light dinner super easy, and their coffee is really good too. Shopping and dining downstairs are very convenient. There's an outlet mall within a 10-minute walk, great for shopping. It's close to the airport, making it a good spot for an overnight layover.

The king-size room can accommodate two 28-meter suitcases. The bathroom is integrated, and the ventilation is not very good. It will be hot to death when taking a shower. Breakfast is free, but there is nothing to eat. Check-in luggage storage is free, but check-out luggage storage is charged. We were charged 1,000 yen for two suitcases. Friends who mind can plan ahead. It is very, very close to JR. You can get there by turning a corner. There is a life supermarket at 500 meters, and Don Quixote and Daiso are 1 kilometer away. It is very convenient to go to Umeda and Shinsaibashi.

I chose to stay here for my last night before heading home. The walk from the subway station to the hotel has escalators, and it's very close to the station. The front desk had a ********* person (judging by the accent) who could communicate in Chinese. It was very convenient to self-deposit luggage before check-in time. There's an electronic scale available so you can check your luggage weight. The outlet mall is within walking distance, though it's not super close. There's also a Don Quijote nearby; even though it's only one floor, it's good for some last-minute shopping!

Dear Hotel Management, I recently stayed at your hotel for two days and overall had a comfortable experience. However, I unfortunately lost a valuable item (a necklace) during my stay. I am writing this because I had some difficulty communicating smoothly with the hotel staff regarding this matter. On the evening of the 20th, I placed my necklace on the desk and did not wear it while touring on the 21st. Thinking my companion had packed it, I only realized it was missing after checking out, and I contacted the hotel immediately. When I called, the hotel simply stated that they checked and found nothing, without offering to contact me if it is found later. If the hotel finds the lost item later, please contact me via email. 호텔을 사용하며 불편함은 없었습니다만 2일 동안 호텔을 사용하며 귀중품(목걸이)를 분실했습니다. 호텔 측과 원활한 소통이 되지 않아 글을 남깁니다. 20일 저녁에 책상에 목걸이를 올려두었고 착용하지 않고 21일에 관광지를 돌아다녔습니다. 일행이 목걸이를 챙겼다고 생각하여 체크아웃 이후 챙기지 않은 사실을 알게되어 바로 호텔에 연락했습니다. 호텔 측에서는 확인해본다고 하고 확인해본 결과 없다는 답변 뿐 찾게 되면 따로 연락 준다는 이야기는 받지 못했습니다. 만약 호텔측에서 분실물을 습득하면 제 이메일로 연락주시길 바랍니다. 감사합니다.

Extremely close to the subway and Universal Studios, right on Universal Boulevard. The price matches the hotel facilities; the room was tiny, didn't even have a closet, and the bedding was terrible. When checking in, I asked if a room with a good view was available, and they immediately said no without even thinking. Outside, there are countless elevated train tracks, so if you open the window, it's incredibly noisy. Definitely won't choose this place again.
