Regarding the service: I called the night before check-in to ask if I could check in early. They said it depended on check-outs and cleaning and couldn't be reserved in advance, which seemed reasonable. On the way to the hotel from Aranya, around 11 AM, I called to ask about availability. They mentioned there were three family rooms in total, and only one had been vacated but not yet cleaned. It was 'first come, first served,' but then they added that another guest had already booked it and was already at the hotel, parking. So why was it available for booking again? I arrived at the hotel 15 minutes later, and the front desk said all three family rooms were still occupied. I asked, 'Didn't you say one was checked out? Has that other customer already checked in?' The three front desk girls exchanged glances, pointed to the computer screen, and changed their story, saying one had checked out but hadn't been cleaned. I said, 'Okay, we can wait.' After about 20 minutes, we successfully checked in. At this point, I really wanted to know where that 'legendary' guest, who was supposedly already at the hotel and parking, had gone. Is there a trick to checking into hotels now? Regarding cleanliness: We booked a family room with a slide. The quilt upstairs was wrinkled, and the tatami mat downstairs had crumbs and debris on it. I used a dry towel to wipe off a bunch of dirt, which was very noticeable on the white floor tiles. If a vacuum cleaner had been used, there would probably have been even more. Helplessly, I had to ask the cleaning lady to come in and wipe it with a wet cloth. On the table next to the large bed, my hand was covered in dust with one touch, and the countertop above the refrigerator was also dusty. Regarding facilities: The hotel does not provide breakfast. The rocking horse in the room was broken and missing its ears. The two beanbag chairs in the common area were a bit useless; replacing them with tatami mats or regular sofas would be better and more practical. Something positive: The location is good, not far from attractions like Pigeon Nest Park, Tiger Stone Park, Shallow Water Bay, and Happy Bay, making it convenient to get around. It's right next to Liuzhuang Night Market, which is great for shopping and snacks. You can also stock up on various clam digging tools here in advance, and the prices are much better compared to those in the scenic areas. The hotel has its own parking lot; guests can park for free after registering their car number. However, during the May Day holiday, parking spaces were very tight. Thanks to the parking attendant who moved his own car to let us park.

I stayed at this Holiday Inn store when I visited Shijiazhuang for the first time, I liked it so much I always stay here. Then I reserve this hotel often for my daughter’s frequent visits to Shijiazhuang, and after her stay this time, she strongly urged me to write a review since she was so impressed by the manager 賈曉玲 who helped her to find an up-graded room while the front desk could not get her into a room after the regular check-in time(probably due to the May One holiday crowd). I sincerely appreciate 賈曉玲 for her helpfulness and kind gesture. I’d say, as a busy traveler myself, I see what she did truly represent the best of of the hospitality business, and for what she had done for my daughter( as well as me), she gained a faithful customer for life. The hotel doorman was very attentive and helped with our luggage. The underground parking was convenient and free. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and thoroughly explained the hotel's facilities. The room was spacious with a large window offering an expansive view. The furniture was well-designed and attractive. The lighting and power outlets were thoughtfully placed. There was both a shower and a bathtub, along with a good selection of tea, coffee, and cups. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough. Breakfast was plentiful, and the food was delicious. Overall, it offered excellent value for money.

Over the past two years and nearly ten stays, the Venice Water World Hotel has witnessed my business trips and also accommodated my leisure time. It has never shown any neglect despite my frequent visits; instead, each time it has surprised me with new delights and consistent warmth. It's not just a hotel; it's more like a 'home away from home' in Shijiazhuang, a sanctuary where I can let my guard down and rest peacefully. The hotel has a dedicated parking lot, smart toilets, and a special tea-making area. The bed is very wide, and the room is spacious with high ceilings. It's also conveniently located near attractions and close to Mixue Ice Cream & Tea, Lawson convenience store, Sitiao Baozi, and Taizi Hot Pot. The staff provides excellent and welcoming service.

The most pleasant surprise during my stay was the service from our butler, Amy! She provided personalized, one-on-one service throughout our trip. Whether it was a room request or travel advice, she was always patient, answered all our questions, and handled everything efficiently. Her work was meticulous, and she was incredibly kind and gentle, taking care of every detail perfectly. We truly experienced the thoughtful hospitality of a high-end hotel. We stayed in the Premier Balcony Seaview King Room and the sea view was really beautiful. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the fresh sea breeze. The weather was perfect, not too cold for mosquitoes and not too hot to feel sweaty. The room was very clean when we checked in. However, there were occasional sudden whiffs of smoke coming through the vents even though it’s a non-smoking family hotel with signs everywhere. It affected the room quality a bit. We called hotel service and they offered to change our room, but we were too lazy to move so they quickly sent someone to set up an air purifier for us, which was really nice. The breakfast was excellent with so many options from Western to Chinese cuisine. The only downside was the lack of meat choices; we only saw bacon, pork sausages and the meat in the wonton soup. The gym was great and had everything needed for a proper workout. 💪 The pool was packed with kids in the afternoon so we didn’t use it. Overall a very comfortable stay with a fantastic sea view. The hotel and the downstairs hot spring are bundled together, making check-in rather cumbersome. You first need to store your shoes at the hot spring to retrieve your wristband, then go up to the third-floor guest room area. No toiletries or towels are provided in the room; it's assumed you shower downstairs. When I asked the third-floor guest room reception, they said there's no shower in the room and you have to go downstairs. The hot spring reception staff said the same thing, adding that the water in the room is quite cold and you can shower downstairs anytime. But have they considered parents with children of the opposite sex? Basically, it's like you play in the hot spring, shower, and then go back to your room to sleep. Overall, it's alright, passable if you can manage.

Arrived on the afternoon of Chinese New Year's Day. Both counters were busy during check-in, but Cathy proactively directed us to the third one. Since we were two adults with two young children, it was a bit of a struggle. Cathy thoughtfully gave the kids small horses to comfort them, which was very sweet. For the rest of our stay, everything perfectly matched our booking requests: a bed rail was installed, and child-friendly toiletries and a toilet seat were provided. The housekeeping staff never slacked off, even though the kids made quite a mess. Our room was always spotless when we returned. We'll definitely be back!

My recent stay at the New World Hotel in Langfang far exceeded my expectations, a definite five-star rating! The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around. The lobby is grand and elegant with a strong artistic vibe. The room's bedding was soft and lovely against the skin, making for an excellent night's sleep, and the soundproofing was superb. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the quality was top-notch. The pool water was crystal clear, perfect for relaxing. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in quick and efficient, and they responded promptly to all requests. The robot food delivery was convenient and fun, and the service details were thoughtful and spot on. The value for money here is outstanding, I truly recommend it to everyone!
