This hotel catches you a little off guard. When the car pulled up I thought I was in the wrong place. It gives very strong Air bnb/bed and breakfast vibes because that’s what it is. The ppl that run the place are very kind. The owner I assume, was very kind and very friendly. He went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Even gave me cold medicine as I was struggling adjusting to Chinese fall weather and had a bad cold. The young man that worked evenings helped me order food and was a life saver because I had no way else to eat. The breakfast was minimal but tasty. Dumplings, boiled eggs and I think congee. I don’t like congee so I didn’t eat any. And I was always greeted with a smile from the lady cooking. The coffee isn’t great. Instant packets, very blah and nothing to drink really except water. There isn’t much nearby to do, it’s not walkable and so I would not stay if you’re looking for night life or convenience. But it’s a nice relaxing, quiet place to stay with a very comfy bed, nice tub, close enough to the airport and good shower pressure. I would definitely stay again.

The room had excellent natural light, and the housekeeping was meticulous with no unpleasant odors. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm. Check-in at the front desk was quick and thoughtful. The water pressure in the bathroom was stable. Overall, it offered outstanding value for money and convenient access. Very satisfied. 076.

The overall experience was absolutely perfect and nothing was too much trouble! First of all, the room is super clean, the whole room is spotless, the layout is clean and neat, the environmental hygiene is far superior to the same price hotel, and the stay is very comfortable. The front desk service staff is of high quality, warm and polite, can patiently explain and answer any questions, efficient, meticulous and intimate service. The location is particularly convenient, all kinds of food downstairs are covered, eating is super convenient, going out by taxi is easy and convenient, travel and play is very convenient. The rooms are well equipped with all the facilities needed for daily living, and the facilities are in good condition and brand-new. The breakfast menu is very rich, the variety is rich, the ingredients are fresh, the taste is authentic, and you can eat your favorite food every day.

Hotel Review – Absolutely Worthwhile Stay I had a fantastic stay and honestly have nothing bad to say. The whole experience felt smooth, clean, and genuinely relaxing. My husband and I spent a couple of days there celebrating my birthday. Spa & Facilities The spa was amazing. It’s a no-shoe area, so you can walk around barefoot, in socks, or use the shoes they provide. It was spotlessly clean, and we had access to all the sauna and stone rooms. Our room had a private hot tub, which was a highlight, and the massages were both reasonably priced and excellent. Rooms & Service The staff spoke English and went out of their way to make sure we understood everything and felt comfortable. One thing to note: there aren’t shelves or cupboards in the rooms, but they provide hooks and hangers. That’s because they supply spa clothes for guests, so you don’t need much closet space. Your shoes are kept in lockers inside the hotel. You can put the on and take them off before you enter and exit the hotel. Location & Convenience It’s close to Disney, and they run a bus to and from Disneyland. The departure time is a bit early, but you can have an early breakfast beforehand if you book a room with breakfast included. The wristband system makes everything easy and affordable — meals, games, and other extras all get charged directly to your room. Extras for Everyone There’s plenty to do on-site: billiards, Nintendo games, arcade room, movies, and several kid-friendly areas. They also have an in-house restaurant with snack bars, ice cream, drinks, and sweets. Designated smoking areas are available too. Overall, it was a really relaxing and well-organized getaway. Great for families and couples alike. Highly recommend it if you want a clean, comfortable, and convenient stay near Disney.

This stay far exceeded my expectations. The hotel boasts an elegant and grand ambiance, coupled with an excellent location that makes getting around incredibly convenient. The room was immaculately clean, spacious, and comfortable. It came fully equipped with toiletries, and the bed was wonderfully soft and conducive to a good night's sleep. The overall environment was quiet and peaceful. The front desk staff were attentive and enthusiastic, responding promptly and treating guests with politeness and friendliness. The value for money here is outstanding. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation when traveling, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The room was cozy and clean, giving a warm, home-like feeling. They thoughtfully provided three pairs of slippers and three sets of toothbrushes. It was quiet at night, perfect for sleeping, and there's a swing in the common area for kids to play on. Dinner comes with complimentary breakfast. A big thank you to the handsome young owner who even helped us find a friend to book Disneyland tickets when we couldn't get them ourselves online that day. It's not far from Disneyland, just a short taxi ride away, practically the starting fare. You can also order takeout easily, including KFC, Shaxian Delicacies, and Yidiandian. This hotel is located on Donghu Road in the premium Xuhui District. Downstairs, you'll find the charming Julu-Fumin-Changde (JFC) area, perfect for strolling and dining. What's even better, parking is free, which is a rare find in such a prime location. The hotel used to be Du Yuesheng's mansion, and the old Donghu Hotel building is just across the street. I really enjoyed my stay this time and look forward to experiencing the old building next time I visit Shanghai.

I recently stayed at Swiss Hotel in Shanghai, overall, I had a positive experience. The hotel is Situated in a central part of the city near some landmarks such as the Jing’an temple. There are cafes, malls and restaurants walking distance. The room and common areas were decent and tidy. My room 819 was spacious and well illuminated with a nice view. The hotel has a nice spa with steam room, sauna and jacuzzis and also a swimming pool. Gym is medium size well equipped. breakfast is included with Asians and western options. The internet connection was good in general.

The room was very comfortable, and the view from the large French windows was great. The lighting in the room itself wasn't super bright, but the entire guesthouse felt very well-lit and welcoming – you could spot it from a distance. The decor was also beautiful and unique. I didn't get a chance to fully enjoy the guesthouse amenities, but the cat was incredibly cute and wasn't afraid of being petted at all. On the first night, when we were putting on the disposable bedding, we noticed a small stain on the duvet. We messaged them, and they quickly came to replace it for us, even helping us put it on! Their service was incredibly enthusiastic. The next evening, after we came back from our outing, they even brought us two hot milk teas because of the earlier incident – that was a truly pleasant surprise. We were going to Disneyland in the morning to pick up headbands, and our destination was different, so we took a taxi instead of the shuttle bus, and they even reimbursed us for the taxi fare! The projector TV in the room was very clear, and the small table on the second floor was perfect for eating and doing makeup. Overall, the service was truly exceptional, which is really rare to find.

This hotel is excellent! Pros: 1. The entire staff, from the front desk and housekeepers to the concierge and doormen, were incredibly kind, warm, and professional. However, it seemed like they were severely understaffed. I personally witnessed five groups queuing to check in at night with only one front desk agent. They were clearly overwhelmed. 2. The room was spacious, the bathtub was very comfortable, and the water pressure was great. 3. The location is very convenient for both taxis and the subway. Just a heads-up for those with luggage: the nearest subway entrance doesn't have an escalator or elevator. Cons: 1. There were some minor cleanliness issues. A housekeeper left someone else's soap in my room. 2. The curtains didn't reach the floor, so I was woken up by the sunlight in the morning. 3. While the Wi-Fi was usable and fine for Tencent Meeting, it wasn't as fast or reliable as I would have liked.
