My stay at the Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre felt a bit like stepping back into the 90s, which was interesting but also a bit polarizing. The hotel's setting is actually quite good, located by the lake and generally peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. It's perfect for those looking to relax. Parking is also convenient, which was a big plus for me as I was driving. However, upon entering the room, the age of the place was immediately apparent: the decor was old-fashioned, from the carpets to the furniture, giving it a distinct 'old-school hotel' vibe, reminiscent of a 90s business hotel. On the bright side, it was clean, and the bed was comfortable enough, so it didn't detract from the basic stay experience. As for amenities, they were pretty standard. There weren't any particularly modern features; it leaned more towards practical rather than luxurious. The service was decent though, with friendly staff who were quite responsive. The pros are its quiet location, pleasant environment, and reasonable value for money. The main drawback is definitely its age; if you're particular about how new a hotel feels, you might be a little disappointed. Overall, it's an 'aged but not bad' hotel, best suited for those who prioritize peace and practicality over modern decor.

The room's design and atmosphere were stylish and excellent. However, I was a bit disappointed to find several hairs in the bathtub. It would have been nicer if the bathroom had been a bit cleaner. In the morning, the cleaning staff started servicing nearby rooms, and the noise of doors opening and closing was quite loud, preventing me from getting a good night's sleep. This might be suitable for early risers, but perhaps not ideal for those who want to relax and sleep in until check-out.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Auckland. The location is excellent, right in the city center, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and all the essential amenities for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to unwind after a busy day in the city. The hotel facilities were impressive, particularly the indoor and outdoor pools, gym, and sauna, which added extra value to the experience. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, ensuring a smooth check-in and overall pleasant stay. While the decor may feel slightly dated in some areas, everything was well-kept and functional. Overall, it offers great value for money and is a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers visiting Auckland.

If you book a room type of apartment or higher, your room will come with a washing machine and dryer, and laundry detergent is provided. This is especially convenient for those who've been traveling for a week and need to do some laundry. Getting around is also easy, as most places in the city center are within walking distance. The front desk was helpful and allowed a late check-out until 12 PM. There's also a convenience store and a BBQ roast meat shop downstairs.

Service was excellent! The free shuttle to and from the airport is so convenient, and it's very helpful for us travellers. The accommodation itself was okay, quite old but necessities are there. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the University of Auckland. After taking a taxi from the airport to Waitemata Station, it's about a four or five-stop bus ride from Britomart, and the bus stop is right across from the hotel. There are many bus stops nearby, making it convenient to get anywhere. Check-in was very smooth; even though there were a lot of people checking in that afternoon, it was well-organized and efficient overall. The front desk staff were also very friendly and even asked if I had stayed at their hotel before. I mentioned I had been to Cordis Beijing Capital Airport previously, but this was my first time here. Upon entering, I noticed the hotel's signature scent, which was indeed identical to the one at Cordis Beijing Capital Airport. The room facilities were all great, the mattress was very comfortable, and there were plenty of charging outlets. The hotel's Wi-Fi was also very fast. The toiletries were of high quality with a pleasant scent, and since the weather was dry in autumn, applying some body lotion made me feel very comfortable. Cordis hotels are known for their breakfast, and the restaurant in the morning certainly offered a wide variety of delicious-looking options. Perhaps due to jet lag, my stomach still thought it was 4 or 5 AM after I finished eating, so I didn't eat much. All in all, this booking on Trip.com offered excellent value for money, and this comfortable trip made me very happy and relaxed.

The space was bright and spacious, the bedding soft and clean, and the room was spotlessly cleaned. The soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear any airplane noise at all, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. 🏊‍♀️ Delightful facilities: The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool! After a day of exploring, a dip in the pool and some sunbathing instantly relieved our travel fatigue – it was so therapeutic! Other facilities were also comprehensive, perfectly meeting all our travel needs. 💁‍♀️ Attentive service: The front desk staff were warm and professional. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and they proactively reminded us about shuttle times and answered our travel questions. Any requests were quickly addressed, showing great attention to detail. 🌿 Wonderful environment: The hotel's overall environment was quiet and comfortable, with clean and tidy public areas and a welcoming atmosphere. It completely lacked the usual hustle and bustle of an airport hotel, making our stay very pleasant. This hotel played a big part in the perfect conclusion of my friend's and my New Zealand trip! We'll definitely choose it again for future layovers in Auckland. Highly recommend it to all travelers needing an airport stopover!

We booked a room with breakfast and dinner. We arrived at the hotel at 8 PM, just in time before dinner service ended. The hotel dinner truly blew us away; there was so much food that two adults and two children couldn't even finish it all, and the quality and taste were superb. There was also a great variety of fresh fruit. The next day, we went to a fruit shop and regretted not having packed up the last remaining fruit from the hotel. I've already recommended this hotel to friends, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I visit Auckland.

The stylish interior is inspired by a volcano. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, and bathrobes and slippers were provided. The large bathtub was particularly nice. The lobby is innovative and smells wonderful. The only disappointments were that the refrigerator wasn't cooling, there was chewed gum left behind, and even though I stayed for multiple nights, the mineral water wasn't replenished the next day.
