"As a native Hongkonger, I've stayed in many luxury hotels here. This time, I'm staying because my home is undergoing renovations. The room is extremely clean and quiet everywhere. Whenever I check into hotels around the world, I always check the area between the faucet and the sink for black stains (this room had none), and I use disinfectant wipes to clean all the surfaces I'll touch. This room, however, was exceptionally clean. The staff are all very polite, and the hotel's location is extremely convenient. There are many restaurants nearby (from affordable local eateries to more upscale international options), and shopping is right on your doorstep. There are also two 24-hour convenience stores, and the MTR station is very close by. It's perfect for travelers, and I will definitely stay at this hotel again whenever I need to."

"Facilities: The room size is decent, and the twin beds have a comfortable firmness. On higher floors, there's basically no external noise; the air conditioning is cold enough. However, there are very few power outlets in the room, with no bedside outlets, so phones can only be charged at the desk, requiring a British standard adapter. Be careful of slippery floors in the shower. There's no dirty towel basket. Other aspects like hot water speed and pressure are normal. Toothpaste/toothbrushes and disposable slippers are provided, but not combs, razors, or shower caps. There are no tissues or complimentary water in the bedroom. Location: Located in Kwun Tong, surrounded by industrial buildings, which isn't like the heavy trucks and dust of mainland China – it's a very authentic Hong Kong street scene. Within about a ten-minute walk from the hotel, there are many 'cha chaan tengs' (local diners) to choose from, and Kwun Tong Plaza offers a lively shopping area. There are also convenience stores nearby, so food is absolutely not an issue. Transportation: Ngau Tau Kok MTR station and Kwun Tong Bus Terminus are not far. Getting to Tsim Sha Tsui isn't particularly close, as it requires a transfer on the MTR. I'd highly recommend taking KMB bus 215X directly to the vicinity of the Avenue of Stars, or KMB bus 619 directly to Central. The latter route goes through the Eastern District to Hong Kong Island, passing many street scenes of Hong Kong Island, which you can enjoy leisurely. After getting off, it's not far to walk to the Peak Tram. There's also a direct cross-border bus from Shenzhen Bay Port to Kwun Tong, and then a walk to the hotel. Check-in and Check-out: I don't recommend checking in before 2 PM. After checking in, you'll still have to queue again after 2 PM to get your room card. It's better to just queue once after 2 PM to get everything done (unless there's no queue). Check-out is quick; just hand your room card to the front desk, and after they remind you to take all your belongings, you can leave. Luggage storage is available. Price: The hotel price isn't high (especially during the National Day holiday). I booked a 'partial sea view' room, which was literally a 'sliver' of a sea view – quite useless. If there's a significant price difference, I'd suggest it's completely unnecessary; either go for a superior twin room or a full sea view room. Special Complaint: The air conditioning is a bit noisy. I'd recommend setting the thermostat to a low fan speed, which helps, but there's still some sound. For someone like me who falls asleep in three minutes, it's not a problem, but good luck to those sensitive to noise. Overall: I came to Hong Kong for a two-day 'City Walk' and saw that this hotel's price wasn't too high, and it's near Kai Tak, so I booked it. Overall, I'm satisfied 👍. Transportation is hassle-free. If hotel prices in the city center are too expensive, this is a good alternative. I watched the National Day fireworks display, didn't rush to attractions, woke up naturally, strolled, ate, and looked around. I parked my car near Shenzhen Bay Port, and the parking fee wasn't expensive. It was fine to cross the border later on the day of return. The window couldn't be opened but it was large and offered a partial sea view. My husband and I were very satisfied ☺️. The hotel included bread and unlimited coffee, which is excellent in Hong Kong and saved us money on breakfast. Highly recommend! It's not far from the MTR station, just a few minutes' walk, and there's a tram stop right downstairs – the experience was fantastic! Oh, and the front desk staff could communicate entirely in Mandarin, which was great! We arrived early and were able to check in ahead of time 😏. You need to bring your own power adapter – don't forget that! The Wi-Fi speed was very fast! Selected breakfast and all-day coffee and tea at iLounge: The room was clean. "Before my trip, I was searching for hotels with Victoria Harbour views and stumbled upon Kerry Hotel, which had excellent reviews and great value for money. I saw that it had zero negative reviews and the sea view rooms offered a panoramic floor-to-ceiling view of the harbour. As hotel prices tend to go up during the National Day holiday, after some research, I decided Kerry Hotel offered the best value. I promptly booked a sea view room. I checked in after 10 PM, and the check-in process was seamless. The hotel lobby was absolutely stunning. Upon entering my room on the 12th floor, I was utterly captivated by the night view of Victoria Harbour – it was incredibly beautiful! Waking up the next morning and drawing the curtains to reveal the morning harbour view was even more breathtaking. Throughout my stay, I absolutely loved admiring the stunning scenery from my bedside; it truly lifted my spirits. The hotel breakfast is also highly recommended, with a wide variety of Western and Hong Kong-style options, all delicious. As a family of four, my son and daughter also enjoyed the hotel breakfast."

"The hotel's location is excellent! I've also stayed at Kerry next door for comparison. Although this hotel was recently renovated a few years ago, the renovation seems a bit simple. There are very few counters for check-in at the front desk, so you might encounter long queues. The food leans towards Western cuisine, which children might not be used to. The pier is right downstairs, making it very convenient to take a ferry to North Point. It's also close to the MTR, so transportation is quite convenient. The service is good, especially at the entrance where staff proactively help with luggage without being asked. Their Mandarin is also very good."

"Excellent, excellent, excellent! Choosing The Gloucester Luk Kwok for my stay on the west side this time was an absolutely brilliant decision. Just sitting on the armchair and gazing out the window was enough to lift my spirits. The room was quite new, and every single staff member at the hotel was incredibly nice and helpful. The location is super convenient, with the HKU B1 exit being the closest MTR station. You can even walk to Kennedy Town to catch the sunset. Downstairs, there's a line of trams (ding ding), buses, and restaurants. Next door is the Liaison Office. The west side is less crowded, and the sea views are expansive. I'll definitely be back here the next time I stay on the west side!"

"I genuinely can't find a single flaw that would keep me from giving this a 5-star review. To put it simply, the experience far exceeded what you'd expect for the price and star rating. Calling it a Four Points is selling it short. The front desk staff smiled and warmly greeted us the moment we walked into the lobby, which got our check-in off to a fantastic start. Other staff members, like the housekeeping team, were also extremely friendly and proactively said hello. Walking into the room, I honestly think the hotel needs to update their listing photos on booking platforms because the actual room is so much better than the pictures. The decor is very new and refined, with all the amenities you could possibly need. The large bay window offers an ocean view, and with the sunlight streaming in, it just sets a perfect mood for the whole day. Plus, the room size far exceeded my expectations for Hong Kong—it actually felt larger than some of the 5-star hotels I've stayed at in the city. Convenience is usually what people care about most. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to Tung Chung every 30 minutes, and it's just two more stops to Disneyland. Coming back after a full day of fun didn't feel exhausting at all. In fact, compared to staying right near Disneyland, you get the added bonus of Citygate Outlets nearby for shopping and great food. On top of that, there's a bus right outside the hotel running to the Shenzhen Bay Port every half hour—maximum convenience! All in all, even though it's a Four Points, the experience far exceeds its brand tier. At this price point, there are zero flaws. The high ratings are well-deserved. Highly recommended to everyone!"
