We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.. it's at ibrahimpasa, a quiet area outside of the main touristy areas of goreme and uchisar. We checked in easily, and we were immediately impressed by the rooms we booked (the deluxe cave suite with jacuzzi). We stayed in Room 404. After the first night, we informed the reception that our jacuzzi wasn't working, and they upgraded our room to the imperial cave suite with jacuzzi and fireplace. It was lovely and we appreciated the kind gesture. They also helped us with luggage as we moved rooms (to Room 401), and it was all a seamless experience despite the mild inconvenience. The rooms we stayed in were always warm even in winter, and we never found anything to be lacking. Just a note for light sleepers, Room 401 is along the stairs/walkway down to the lower levels, so if there guests who come back late at night and are loud, you will most definitely hear it! Breakfast selection was simple but sufficient, with an espresso coffee machine I really appreciated after drinking Turkish coffee for a week! A small note that the bathrooms often smelled a little bad, perhaps it's the sewage system. Not a big problem tho. It's barely noticeable. We rented a car and drove, so getting in and out of town was never a problem. Parking is available at the hotel, and is free, if you drive! The roads leading in to the hotel are a little narrow, so definitely not for non-confident drivers, but we found it ok. I don't really have photos of the room to share but rest assured the photos provided by the hotel are real and accurate.

Тихий, атмосферный отель. Рядом с отелем много заброшенных домиков и, к сожалению, мусора - но от отеля это не зависит. Расположен в очень тихом местечке с минимумом инфраструктуры. В сезон, когда везде большое кол-во туристов, подойдет для любителей тишины. Идеально для туристов с машиной. До Навшехира с кафешками, магазинами и маршрутками можно дойти пешком минут за 20-30. Брали номер с террасой- прекрасно для созерцания природы и отдыха. Бассейн с сауной пока мы пребывали в отеле несколько дней не работал. Само помещение достаточно маленькое и если там отдыхает семья или компания на несколько человек, то уже ими не воспользуешься, тк будет некомфортно. В остальном все прекрасно и гостеприимно)

Seriously, this is an outstanding hotel. It took me a while to choose this place, and while the price was on the higher side, it was absolutely worth every penny. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the room environment was beautiful. The observation deck offers breathtaking views. It's located on a hill in Uchisar, a town that's delightfully removed from the hustle and bustle of Goreme. You can reach Uchisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia, with just a five-minute walk. The hotel breakfast was quite good, but the real highlight was enjoying it with such a magnificent view. The hotel can also help you book various local services. We booked a Turkish Night with dinner, as well as a taxi. Both were fantastic experiences – the Turkish Night was 2000 Lira per person, and the round-trip taxi was 850 Lira.

The hotel is ideally located near Sunset Point and within a five-minute walk of the center of Göreme, offering both convenience and a peaceful setting. The reception team was professional and proactive, providing comprehensive local information with a hand-drawn map highlighting dining, shopping, sightseeing, and outdoor activities. Special recognition goes to Rose for her outstanding support and thoughtful itinerary planning. The hotel welcomes guests from around the world, and the staff demonstrates a strong capability in international service standards. Their English proficiency is excellent, and they show genuine cultural awareness and patience toward guests who do not speak English, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive experience for visitors of all backgrounds. The cave-style room was comfortable and well designed, with efficient underfloor heating. Staff members kindly assisted with luggage, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made it easy to relax and fully enjoy the stay. The restaurant offers a daily changing menu with consistently high-quality food. The rooftop bar is a separate venue, featuring three distinct terraces. One terrace is enclosed with a transparent cover, allowing guests to enjoy the space comfortably even during the winter months. Thanks to the hotel’s elevated position, the rooftop bar provides stunning nighttime views over Göreme, while Sunset Point is also within easy walking distance. The hotel’s Turkish bath and spa facilities are elegant and well maintained, with professional and attentive staff delivering a relaxing experience. When an issue arose with a pre-booked horseback riding activity, the hotel team promptly assisted in reorganizing our plans. Rose redesigned a walking route covering the Göreme Open-Air Museum, Rose Valley, and Sword Valley, transforming a potential disappointment into a memorable highlight of our trip. On the day of departure for Istanbul, the hotel staff personally came out to see us off, a thoughtful gesture that left a lasting impression. Highly recommended, and I would be pleased to stay here again

Just amazing! We got in touch with the manager fatih before arriving and he gave us lots of useful information on what to do, see, go on tours and buy groceries. The hotel is small, cozy, tastefully decorated and the staff is super nice and helpful. Fatih is fluent in English and speaks a little Chinese and Spanish. Helped us book and amazing balloon ride last minute and at a very affordable price. Breakfast is wodnerful. I asked him for the names of all the cheeaes and olives and dips served to go with warm, crispy ekmek and he kindly explained everything. We were served scrambled eggs one day and menemem the other. The town where it is located, uchisar is easily accessible from the nevsehir airport by shuttle at 250tl per person and a 10 min bus ride from goreme. Would recommend it to any small group thinking of a vacation in cappadocia. Great terrace view where you can see hot air balloons with the sunrise!!

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful! Just a heads-up, if you've booked a lower-level room, you'll need to check in at reception before heading down. We had two suitcases, and when we heard we had to go downstairs to our room, we almost fainted! 🥺 Luckily, the front desk arranged for someone to drive us down. There's also a direct staircase within the hotel that leads to the terrace. The lower-level rooms are actually great – you don't have to climb a hill back to the hotel every day, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the main streets of Göreme. Woke up in the morning, went to the terrace, and saw the hot air balloons – it was stunning!

Özellikle çalışanları çok güler yüzlü ve yardımseverdi, tek tek teşekkür ederim. Otel konum olarak çok merkezi, kendi otoparkı olması büyük rahatlık. Odası oldukça konforluydu ve temizdi. Kahvaltı serpme olarak servis ediliyor, milter olarak doyurucu. Kesinlikle tekrar tercih edeceğim bir otel.

The staff are all nice and greet with sincerety. The male stuff helped us check in and explained about the hotel and the offered us car rental and tour services. The price for car rental is slight more expensive than others in the area but since the rental company will deliver and pick up the car at the hotel we opt for the convenience and rented via the hotel. Our room got upgraded and it was nice a spacious. Living in a cave is a good experience for sure. The room is warmer than I expected. There's only one air con in the living room and hence while sleeping have to open some windows to let the wind comes in. Outside was actually colder than inside. The amenities are quite sufficient. The hotel has spots for nice photos of the hot air balloon in the morning but you really need to wake up almost as early as going to take the hot air balloon since there will be other people there and they sure will hog it. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience staying here.

Pleasantly surprised at all aspects of our stay. Convenient location on main road with parking. Easy check in and check out. Small but beautiful room with ceiling fan, fridge, soap, shower gel, towels. Unlike many hotels, wifi actually works through whole building. Table service rooftop delicious breakfast included in what we paid. Staff were kind. Multiple grocery shops a stone's throw away.

We had an amazing stay at Divan Cave House! The hotel sits on a quiet hill in Göreme with beautiful panoramic views of the town and hot air balloons at sunrise. The cave rooms were spacious, clean, and full of character, blending traditional charm with modern comfort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful — always ready to assist with balloon bookings, transfers, and local recommendations. Breakfast was lovely, with a wide selection of fresh items served on the rooftop terrace, where you can also enjoy a perfect view of the balloons in the morning. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the town center, restaurants, and shops, yet far enough for peace and quiet. The cave atmosphere felt truly authentic and cozy, especially in the cool October weather. Highly recommend Divan Cave House for anyone visiting Cappadocia — it’s a warm, welcoming, and memorable stay that captures the spirit of the region perfectly.
