Excellent stay! Closed to metro and restaurant. Bottles of water are always available to grab and front desk staffs are very nice and helpful. Housekeepers are very nice as well keep checking if we need anything even we don’t let them clean the room during stay.

I was on a business trip, so I didn't take many photos. This is my third Kempinski in China, having previously stayed at the ones in Beijing and Guiyang. Overall, the brand's service level, dining options, and atmosphere are consistently excellent and on par with other top-tier hotels. What I liked most about this stay were the gym facilities and the variety of the breakfast. The gym had great equipment and views, and the breakfast offered fresh fruit, aromatic coffee, and even ice cream – a really good selection. When I checked in, the front desk saw I was on a business trip and, despite the hotel being full, they flexibly arranged a high-floor twin room for me, which was a nice upgrade. Regarding service, the only minor issue was when I bought breakfast for two days. For some reason, I got a discount on the first day but not the second. They said they'd look into it but I never heard back, probably because they were too busy. I have two suggestions for the room facilities: it would be great if the TV supported screen mirroring, and the toilet seat was a bit loose, which caused some noise.

Stayed for one night with a friend. The hotel is conveniently located near a subway station, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. They offer a decent breakfast with both Western and Chinese choices. The front desk kindly upgraded us to a family suite for free, which was very spacious. The hygiene and facilities were also good. Overall, everything was quite satisfactory. Our room was on a higher floor, offering a great night view. Highly recommend!

Five stars, hands down! The environment here is fantastic, and the rooms are spotless and tidy, with all the amenities working perfectly. The front desk staff are incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The location is super convenient; it's right next to the subway, making it easy to get to Metro City, Guandi Plaza, SML Center, and Wukang Road. It's truly a top choice for shopping and sightseeing!

Near the Bund, so can see the historical buildings easily at night. 20 over mins to Nanjing pedestrian walk, 6-7 mins walk to Yuyang Metro. Able to help to receive TB parcel on behalf. Stayed at Club King Room. The hotel is in a finance building, so a staff is stationed at the lobby to ensure u get in and out of the gantry easily. Overall is a great stay, have issue with the TV volume and they quickly get it fixed.

This stay was exceptionally comfortable. The hotel's overall ambiance is elegant and grand, with a stylish yet minimalist decor. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, making for a very pleasant sleep. The soundproofing was also excellent, ensuring a quiet and peaceful night. The bathroom facilities were complete, with a stable hot water supply, and the toiletries were of good quality. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, handling check-in and check-out efficiently, and patiently answering any questions. The location is prime, making it convenient to get around. The cleaning was thorough and meticulous, with even the corners being spotless. Overall, the value for money is outstanding; I couldn't find a single fault with the service, environment, or facilities. It's a top choice for accommodation when traveling, and I would definitely choose to stay here again. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Facilities: The hotel has a gym and laundry room, which is sufficient for a city hotel. The location is very close to the middle section of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and it's about an 8-minute walk to the subway. Cleanliness: The overall cleanliness is good, especially since it's a new hotel. Environment: There's a foreign language bookstore across the street, which is a great place for kids to spend time when it rains. Dining options nearby are also very convenient, and delivery from many popular restaurants is very fast. Service: All the staff are very enthusiastic. Since I don't drink beer, they even swapped out the beer in the mini-bar for soda water, which was a nice touch. Complimentary Late-Night Snacks: You can enjoy late-night snacks every day, though we only went once on our first night after arriving from the airport. They offer noodles, rice noodles, etc. – a very thoughtful service. Single Buffet Afternoon Tea: We didn't get to experience the afternoon tea at all, as we were out exploring. Breakfast: Most standard items are available, and the food is replenished very quickly. Issues: During the transition from winter to spring, the air conditioning for cooling hadn't been activated yet. On the first day, I asked the front desk and they said it was still unified heating. So, we didn't have AC during our stay. Luckily, the temperature in Shanghai wasn't too high these past few days, otherwise, the room would have been quite warm. When checking out, the front desk staff member mentioned that after our feedback, the cooling function was made available, but no one informed us, so we were unaware of this.

My stay at the Jinlai Hotel was fantastic! The location is superb, very convenient with easy access to the subway and shopping areas. The room was clean, tidy, and stylishly decorated, with soft bedding and excellent soundproofing, ensuring a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm, efficient, and provided thoughtful service, responding quickly to all requests. It offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended! The location is absolutely unbeatable, within walking distance to Nanjing Road, The Bund, and People's Square, and right outside a subway station. It's incredibly convenient for exploring and dining, offering a quiet retreat in a bustling area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service is spot-on. Perfect for both business and leisure travelers. Full marks!

Very satisfied. The executive lounge on the 29th floor offers great food and views. Both the afternoon tea and dinner were excellent, and the service was top-notch. I've always felt that Shangri-La does a great job of blending Western and Chinese cuisine. The room also had a fantastic view. The night scenery was beautiful, though hard to capture in photos. The best part about staying here is that you can just go downstairs to the riverside, which is a must-visit spot. The Western restaurant downstairs is also quite good. It's an excellent choice for bringing the family.
