"Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort. A special thanks to front desk staff member Riri for doing her best to coordinate a suitable room according to my request. Also, the butler and maintenance technician resolved an air conditioning issue in the middle of the night. The professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm of all the staff at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort, from top to bottom, brought warmth and moved us during our time in Lhasa. There's no distinction of 'high or low' among people; hotel guests and staff simply have different roles and responsibilities. The key lies in how guests' concerns are addressed and the attitude and problem-solving approach of the staff when issues arise. We had booked a basic room, but because I'm sensitive to noise, Riri helped us upgrade to a quieter room. The air conditioning in our room would turn on automatically after being turned off. Around 1 AM, the maintenance technician came back and forth three times. Eventually, they decided to turn off the AC's circuit breaker and fix it the next day (which they did). Before we left, they even sent a small gift as an apology. Breakfast was decent, but I'd describe it as exquisite in presentation, bland in taste, and lacking variety. However, I've also tried meals at the Shangri-La Lhasa, the Crowne Plaza Linzhi, and the Songtsam Bason Co Linka, where some ingredients are even transported from Sichuan in advance due to special circumstances. The taste is generally similar across the board. Given the challenging environment, I believe they've done their best to achieve this level. Regarding some of the room's hardware, there's definitely room for improvement, and the hotel itself is aware of this. I hope to see improvements in the future. "This stay was absolutely perfect, I was extremely satisfied in every aspect! The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and friendly, and check-in was efficient and smooth; the rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortably laid out, making for an excellent stay; the breakfast was varied and delicious, a pleasant dining experience; the laundry facilities were complete and easy to use, making daily laundry very convenient; the gym had comprehensive equipment, making exercise and leisure very convenient. The hotel maintained strict hygiene standards, with every area spotless and refreshing, and its excellent location made transportation convenient. All the staff were professional and attentive, and the waiter Wanzai's attitude was superb. I sincerely recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again next time!"

"This was my first time visiting Tibet, and I chose the Shangri-La. The front desk had a short-haired young lady who was incredibly friendly and even upgraded our room. The welcome fruit and small welcome cakes were a lovely touch. The hotel's medical room was also a lifesaver. When a family member experienced altitude sickness, they immediately got an IV and oxygen. Plus, we could take an oxygen tank back to the room for 780 RMB. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk to the Tibet Museum and a 10-minute walk to Norbulingka. Taxis are also readily available for getting around. The breakfast selection was extensive. While the afternoon tea and dinner options weren't vast, they were all delicious. My only minor complaint would be that upon check-in, no one escorted us to our room or helped with our luggage. For first-time guests, dragging two large suitcases and suffering from altitude sickness, it took a while to find our room."

There is an oxygen concentrator, although the sound is a bit noisy, and the air conditioner is hot enough. Hygiene: The hygiene is good. The towels and bath towels are plastic-sealed after disinfection, which is quite clean. It would be better if the details are strengthened a little more. Environment: The environment is okay. It is difficult to park at the door. You can park in the back yard. There are many places to eat and shop around. Service: The staff are very enthusiastic and take the initiative to help carry luggage. Although the power was cut off for an hour at night, the staff brought oxygen cylinders, which was very good."

"I absolutely love Farly Hotel. The staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, are incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, like spinning prayer wheels and performing sang offerings. I particularly recommend the evening sound bath experience and the morning Pilates. The instructor's stretching exercises really helped improve my posture. I also woke up early to watch the sunrise, but there's a mountain to the east of Farly, so the sun actually appears about 45 minutes after the official sunrise time. Still, it was a beautiful sight."

They proactively said, 'Let me arrange a comfortable yet affordable room for you,' and even hand-wrote a 'Lhasa guide' – telling me where to find the cheapest sweet tea, which monasteries have free entry, and which bus routes offer the best scenic views. The most touching moment was when I came back drenched from the rain one day. Immediately, someone brought me a bowl of hot herbal tea and a blanket, saying, 'Don't catch a cold, getting sick at high altitude is a hassle.' This kind of genuine care is something you might not even find in a five-star hotel. The value for money was surprisingly good. Honestly, I expected a Hilton to cost at least several hundred, but the price I booked was much lower than I anticipated, even more cost-effective than some private rooms in hostels. The room was clean and spacious, with oxygen supply and a humidifier, ensuring a really sound sleep at night. While breakfast wasn't a lavish buffet, it offered plenty of tsampa, butter tea, and boiled eggs, enough to keep me full until the afternoon, saving me lunch money. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and getting to the Potala Palace or Jokhang Temple costs just one yuan, making transportation costs almost negligible. After this stay, I feel like I hit the jackpot. Not just because it was affordable, but because of the unreserved kindness from the ******* people. Next time I visit Tibet, I won't hesitate – I'm definitely staying here again! 🙏🎒"
