I always stay at this hotel whenever I have a layover in Lanzhou. The free transit accommodation is never available, so I have to book a room. No matter how late I arrive, they're always there to pick me up, and the airport drop-off service is great too. It's very clean and the rooms are spacious.

The location is inside Tianshui Ancient City, a bit hard to find. Breakfast is a collaboration with the shop next door, only available from 8 AM, which is different from the information provided here. The room's screen mirroring works fine, but there are constant ads… The room doesn't have a key; it has a combination lock, so you don't have to worry about only having one card for two people. The front desk provides many free small items that you can use. The downsides are that if you stay on the first floor, you'll hear noise from outside, and if no one is at the front desk during check-in, you'll have to wait.

Traveling independently, I chose the Ibis hotel closest to Jiayuguan train station. The room was great! Even though we arrived in the early hours, the staff were considerate and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and I especially liked the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Thumbs up!

This hotel is super convenient, close to all the attractions. The room was spotless, and I loved the smart tech – everything worked perfectly. The self-check-in machine was a lifesaver, so quick and easy! The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and the complimentary drinks and thoughtful little touches really made our stay special. Great location, excellent value for money – definitely the top choice for accommodation when visiting Zhangye!

Traveling to Jiayuguan by car, this hotel is located in the city center with plenty of parking. It's about 2 kilometers from Fuqiang Market to the north. The room is spacious and very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with a separate wet and dry area. The only minor drawback is that my first-floor room was a bit far from the water tank, so I had to let the hot water run for a little while. Overall, I recommend it, especially given the great off-season price.

Bringing my family to Dunhuang, 🏜️ it felt like a dream stepping into Dunhuang. We stayed in a desert RV, nestled in the golden sands, a dream of constant temperature. The room facilities were complete and comfortable, the bedding was cozy, and we had personalized butler service. Only guests are allowed inside, making it very quiet and spacious. We had a whole section of the desert to ourselves, enjoying the joy of having an entire golden sand sea – it's absolutely a stunning spot for photos. Life experience +1: Camping in the desert. It was an amazing experience! They offered complimentary ATV dune buggy rides, which were thrilling and novel. We could slide down the sand dunes for free, and the kids had a blast! Highly recommend!

The hotel lobby is clean, spacious and bright. There is free tea at the front desk. The service is excellent, not only warm but also efficient. The room is clean and tidy. The security uncle also helped with the luggage when checking out, which was very considerate. Most importantly, the price is very affordable, and the parking lot is free. It is the first choice for staying here and I am very satisfied!

SSimona F.I loved the Courtyard B&B. The rural but very chic style. My room was generous, furnishing in the same traditional style. Clean throughout The reception area very attractive and provides nice secluded spaces for relaxing- working in my case) under Bamboo trees and mandala decorated glasses of the ceiling. Very peaceful. I very much appreciated the presence of a kittens with mum and a little doggie which I perceived like mascotte of the place. They were very well maintained and cared of. The stuff is very nice and helpful and we were able to understand each others in some way. I highly recommend this accomodation both for holiday and work.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, just a 10-minute drive from the Mogao Grottoes and Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring. It's a peaceful spot, yet conveniently close to attractions, and you get stunning sand dune views right from your window. Getting to the city center and Shazhou Night Market also takes only 10 minutes, making getting around incredibly easy. The room was immaculately clean; every corner was spotless, and the entire space was dust-free. The bedding was soft and dry, and the bathroom was odor-free with a great wet/dry separation. Even if you're a clean freak, you'll feel completely at ease here; the attention to detail in cleanliness is exceptional, ensuring a super comfortable stay. This guesthouse is brand new and well-equipped with high-quality facilities, including air conditioning, a smart toilet, and premium bedding. The room is spacious and bright, with a huge floor-to-ceiling window offering amazing views. It also comes with complimentary toiletries and a refrigerator. The service is very thoughtful, making for an incredibly comfortable experience. I've already recommended it to my best friend, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

GGuest UserDon't let the facade of this hotel fool you. While the frontage is a 4-floor building, majority of the hotel rooms are located at a much taller building behind the frontage. The reception has a free coffee machine for guest, which is a rarity for Chinese hotels (especially if not 5-stars). I wish the reception was more brightly lit. There is a Halal restaurant next to the hotel, so if you must eat Halal food, this hotel is perfectly located. The room has adequate space for 2 person to put 2 big luggage, with plenty space to hang the winter clothing. The insulation is good, heater is warm, water pressure is strong with sufficient hot water when you need it. There's one odd thing about the heating in this hotel. The floor is heated, which is good prima facie, but the guest cannot control the temperature. So if the window is closed when you sleep at night, the heated floor ended up radiating heat all over the room to the point it feels like a 30C charcoal sauna when you wake up in the morning. One special mention must be made about the breakfast. The dining area looks relatively spartan but the dishes would surprise you. It serves Salmon, Fish Eggs and one Cantonese delicacy ”Buddha Jumping Over the Wall”, which was a total surprise as we didn't expect a Cantonese dish to be served here so far in the northwest of China. I appropriated 2 bowls of Buddha Dish for one morning, enough said. I would absolutely come here for breakfast again. If the hotel could fix the control for the floor heating, that would be great !

The hotel location is excellent and not so far for Mogaocave, the dunhuang night market, Mingsha Mountains.. The hotel room is super clean, wide, and has comfy.beds. Also, the hotel provided everything necessary Especially the hotel staff are very friendly and responsible for guests. We stayed there for 3 nights 4 days and the staff always helped us for traveling. They called a taxi for us to travel to tourist spots Even if they don't speak English , we communicate by translation application on the phone. They also bring us to pharmacy and supermarket. How they are wonderful and thankful. If we go there again, we will definitely stay there again. I traveled all over the world for 20 years, but I never met like the hotel and staff. Totally never forgetable hotel and staff. God bless forever! Thanks again!!!

MM275774****The hotel was a pleasant surprise, the best experience of my entire Qinghai-Gansu loop trip. The hotel room was clean and tidy, the mattress was just the right firmness, very comfortable, and there were plenty of office-friendly amenities, including desks, chairs, and lamps. The hotel service was exceptional; arguably the best I've experienced in a budget hotel. The front desk staff proactively recommended sightseeing options and restaurants, all of which were delicious (the food we ate at the tourist attractions the previous days was both expensive and terrible). The hotel is located in the old food district of Fuqiang Market. Perhaps because it's an older area, the streets outside were quite run-down, which initially dampened my spirits. However, the hotel experience truly offered a contrast, and the nearby restaurants were frequented by locals. I highly recommend staying here. (I didn't take any room photos, so I'm using other pictures instead.)

PPeterThis is a REALLY nice hotel. Unfortunately, although it is practically right next to one of the city's two train stations, the location is far from ideal. Yes, there are many restaurants close by. But Tianshui is an oddly laid out city. Look on a map and you will see two distinct parts to the city. This hotel, along with the two train stations and the airport are in the eastern city. But all the most interesting city attractions are within the west part. And the two parts are very far from each other. Again, this is a nice, quiet, comfortable hotel. And I often try to stay at hotels near transportation centers such as train stations. The view from my room was fabulous- mountains and a train station. But for anyone visiting Tianshui, I'd suggest you look closely at a map and take a close look at the sites within the city you are likely to visit! (To add to within-town transportation challenges, not even a single time was I able to get a ride using the normally useful ”Didi” application. This meant that it was a constant ”old school” process of trying to flag down available taxis. Anyway, again I will emphasize, the hotel is great. It is the layout of the city itself that presents challenges that make this location difficult.

The hotel is decorated in a new Chinese style, the environment and hygiene are excellent, and the service is very enthusiastic. The beautiful ladies in the front hall will upgrade the room type. The whole house is smart, the bedding is comfortable, and the pillows are suitable for sleeping. I recommend it to my friends. I booked a breakfast without breakfast, and bought one separately. It was not expensive, and it was clean. The rice noodles were very good. I will choose to stay here next time! ! ! I deliberately picked a hotel with its own parking facilities, but it was so different from what I expected! You have to make a hard turn in the alley to get into the underground garage, and the above-ground part is also extremely narrow with curbs in front and behind! Wonder who designed the garage entrance! The next day, I changed hotels in Dunhuang (Wanhong), which also said it had a parking lot. He told me it was thirty meters away and asked me to open the door for me. However, I didn't see him and went up the wrong slope. I finally managed to escape. I called the hotel, but I didn't remember the names of either hotel, so I called Yunbo Hotel. After a long conversation, the other party realized that they might have dialed the wrong hotel number. At this point, I was so furious! Why is parking so difficult in hotels in Dunhuang? It took a lot of effort to finally enter the underground parking lot of the hotel the next day, but I had great doubts about entering and exiting in the future. It felt too difficult!
