Great location, close to all the attractions, and very convenient for dining and getting around. The cleanliness is top-notch, and the service is excellent. Since it's on the third floor, it was very quiet at night. Overall, a wonderful experience. I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 6 nights. I do not usually give poor reviews as I know competition amongst hotels is tough but I do want to share my experience so that other customers can make an informed decision. Overall, my stay was alright but not outstanding (probably subpar for China’s hospitality standards). An aspect I enjoyed was the location. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from Yanzhuang metro station. As this hotel is located in residential area, food/lifestyle options are largely catered to locals - not too worry as they are mostly modern and suitable for the younger crowds too. For the negative aspects: 1. I felt that the service provided by hotel staffs were mediocre at best. The vibes I got was that they hated their job and being there. Basic things was not done on check-in day. For eg. introducing the hotel and its facilities, establishing communications, and informing me of my entitlements - free afternoon tea on day of check-in, check-out timing, daily coffee etc. When I returned to the hotel to rest, they would stare at me coldly which made me fairly uncomfortable. 2. Daily housekeeping was done properly and thoroughly, although there was an incident where housekeeping entered the room at 10.30am when I was still asleep. I do feel its quite inappropriate to enter the room that early, especially on a Saturday. The hotel should strongly consider fixing the housekeeping indicator or implementing a mechanism so that housekeeping knows when to enter the room. 3. Maintenance of the room could be improved. For example, the toilet flush was barely working (required multiple flushes after each use) and the water temperature fluctuates a lot when showering. The light switches were not intuitive to use and some were spoilt too. In summary, I was taken aback by the subpar standard as other branches from this hotel chain has been excellent. While I enjoy the convenient location, I will probably not stay here again the next time I visit Zhengzhou. Please feel free to contact me if you require further information. Thanks.

We had a wonderful stay at Qichi Waterfront B&B Hotel in Luoyang. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and every time we entered or left the hotel we were greeted with a smile. Our room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable, with a beautiful view over the river. The whole property is lovely, peaceful and full of character, and its location is perfect for exploring Luoyang while still being in a quiet area. Although there was naturally a language barrier, communication was never a problem thanks to the translation app. The staff were also very helpful with local recommendations, especially for restaurants, and we were happy to follow their suggestions. We were particularly impressed by how well everything was organised. They arranged a transfer from the train station to the hotel and, the following day, helped us organise a private trip to the White Horse Temple, Shaolin Monastery and Longmen Grottoes. The driver was extremely kind, and our English-speaking guide, Jin, was excellent: knowledgeable, clear and very well prepared. On our final day, they also arranged a transfer back to the train station at a price comparable to a DiDi, but with a much more personal and convenient service. And then there was the breakfast. We have had quite a few Chinese breakfasts during our travels, but this was by far one of the best. It was generous, varied and delicious, especially the steamed bao, both the meat and vegetarian versions. We also have to mention the lovely cat living at the property, who was incredibly sweet and made the place feel even more welcoming. My husband and I truly felt at home here. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Luoyang, and if we have the chance to return, we would happily stay here again.🥰 A big thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay in Luoyang so enjoyable!🐱❤️

A large shopping centre (Wanda Plaza) is next door with a huge array of Chinese franchised food outlets alongside KFC and Starbucks. A good spread of affordable to prestige clothing brands as well. Many empty shops, though, point to economic stresses in this market. The breakfast is standard Chinese hotel fare so if you're expecting a range of gourmet cereals and breads you'll be disappointed. Turning to the room itself. No room clock and a huge television screen that turns on every time you put your key in the slot are minor annoyances. The television screen has no apparent access to audio-visual inputs which seems a wasted opportunity to me. I want to watch my own media on the television screen. The room is a good size and quite quiet. The bed was firm but not hard. Blackout curtains work well and windows can be partially opened. I observed that any non-smoking regulation was not observed by all guests. Perhaps in the major markets that's more enforced. There is no laundry service as far as I could tell. The shower stall is my main concern and this might apply only to my room. The drain is VERY slow and the recess quickly fills with water. The floor is flat, so water does not naturally flow to the drain, leaving the shower recess always wet and a potential mould hazard. No complaints from me about the lack of staff who speak English. This is a new hotel catering mainly to Chinese travellers. While I have some concerns about the standard of building construction finish I can't fault the staff for their attentiveness and friendliness. If the location suits you the value is obvious. Note that guest rooms are on floors 18 and 19 so expect to spend some time waiting for the slow lift.

A truly great hotel, exceeded my expectations for around 250 RMB a night. **Pros:** 1. Excellent location, close to the subway and Zheng Hong City (a shopping mall). 2. Spacious room with a good view. 3. Great shower with strong water pressure that heats up quickly. 4. Very good service; staff were quite friendly and helpful. 5. Quiet, with good soundproofing. **Cons:** 1. There's a guest elevator that doesn't require a key card to access all floors, which is a bit concerning given the mixed crowd in a commercial area. 2. Map and ride-sharing apps have incorrect location data, often pinpointing it to the mall side, which requires a long walk. The closest accurate pin is Metro Exit D. 3. Bedding quality was just average.

The location is excellent! It's diagonally across from the Museum of the Chariots and Horses of the Son of Heaven, right next to Xigong Street, and close to the subway station. It's also a short taxi ride to all the major attractions. The hotel itself is new and very clean, the staff are polite, and the breakfast is quite good. This will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Luoyang.

A hidden gem of a hotel I discovered on my trip! The room was spotless and the bed was so soft and comfy – all my travel fatigue vanished the moment I lay down. The front desk service was attentive, and it was convenient for getting around and dining. I felt so relaxed and at ease during my stay. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town. Toiletries were neatly arranged, and common areas were regularly cleaned, making for a very comfortable stay. The ambiance was elegant, with a modern Chinese style, soft lighting, and a tranquil atmosphere. The hotel is conveniently located near both the high-speed rail and subway stations. The service was warm and genuine; check-in was quick, and a warm cup of herbal tea was offered upon arrival. The staff also provided helpful explanations of sightseeing routes, displaying a friendly and natural attitude. The facilities were new and practical, with voice-controlled smart systems throughout the room; turning lights on and off and adjusting curtains was as simple as speaking. The rooms were spacious, equipped with a Chinese tea table and a complete tea set, and the mattresses and pillows were perfectly firm. The hotel also offers free parking, a self-service laundry room, and a gym. The breakfast selection was substantial, featuring local flavors. Overall, it offered excellent value for money and was a great choice for travelers.

Go to Shaolin Temple and watch the ”Zen Shaolin Music Festival” accidentally booked this homestay. The bed is large and the room is very spacious, the yard is beautiful, and there are charging piles available, and the boss is kind. At night, there is a ”tile barbecue” next to the homestay that is very distinctive. In the morning, you can go for a walk and run on the surrounding mountain road. Very good experience.
