This hotel has one of the friendliest reception desk. The elderly uncle manning the front desk was most helpful. When we came back late one night and when the carpark was full. He helped arrange for us to park at the station carpark with no additional costs. And he patiently guided us to the location with a hand drawn map. The local breakfast provided was much enjoyed. Simple fare but it was filling. And it was actually quite enjoyable. Enclosed pictures of our local Japanese breakfast over the 2 days that we stayed in the hotel. The hotel is also within walking distance to the train station. And under the train station there's a supermarket which use super convenient to grab some grocery items for the stay.

I had a great stay. The owners are super lovely and will go out of their way to help you. I highly recommend the breakfast and dinners, they were great for big days of hiking and convenient as there aren't too many food options up in the mountains. The train carriages have a large sleeping area and a connected large room to store your things or just to hang out. Yes the pillows are like a bag of rice but it's part of the experience! Great place to stay and great value.

I don't know if it's because I was staying alone, but the room facilities were really great! The bed was big, there was a sofa, TV, microwave, and fridge! The bathtub was also big and nice! It felt like the largest bathtub I've seen in a Japanese hotel. For this price and room condition, I would definitely stay here again. It's super convenient as it's right in front of the station. You just need to cross one crosswalk, it feels like crossing a small alley... doesn't even take a minute! The surrounding shops close early, and it's a bit far from the main street, so it was nice and quiet at night. Even the shops on the main street all close by 5 PM! However, you might be a bit surprised when you first check-in. You just need to enter the password correctly at the front of the building and go in to check-in. There's no one there, so you might feel a bit flustered. There are stairs leading to the check-in area, so if you have a lot of luggage, I recommend leaving it downstairs, checking in first, getting your room assignment, and then moving your bags! If you get a room on the first floor, you'll have to carry them back down! I heard there's an onsen on the rooftop, but I didn't go, so I don't know. Also, they don't clean the rooms! This didn't bother me much, but they only provide enough towels for one night, regardless of whether you stay for 3 or 4 nights. They tell you to wash them in the washing machine! To use the washing machine conveniently, it's best to shower quickly, start the laundry, and then do other things. Just rinsing, spinning, and drying takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes! Also, unlike a hotel, there are no C-type or USB-type outlets in the room. You definitely need to bring an adapter. It's not like hotels where the power is weak, so I was able to use my curling iron. Since it's convenient to wash towels, I would probably use this place again if I go to Yufuin.

I booked a superior room and it was suitable for four families. The room has four bedding, a sitting table, a washbasin, a toilet, a dresser hanger, etc. There are amenities in the lobby, such as refrigerator vending machines, microwaves, etc. The sour room is not in the room, you have to use the hot spring bath. There are three hot spring baths, which can be reserved for an hour. It's just right for the family to have a hot spring together. There was a person who could speak English, so I used the facilities comfortably.

We stayed as a group of 4, and the room was spacious enough for us. The location is very convenient, with a mall, shops, and restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel offers parking for 500 yen per day, and the room rate is very affordable. There are also free drinks available on the ground floor, as well as coin-operated laundry and dryers. One downside is that there is no elevator, but the staff are kind and helpful with carrying luggage. The walls are a bit thin, so you may hear some noise from neighboring rooms, but we were fortunate that other guests were respectful, so it wasn’t a big issue.

It can be reached within about a 10-minute walk from Oita Station. The room is spacious and there is a bathhouse where you can take a bath. The staff at the counter were friendly and allowed me to store my luggage in advance before traveling, which saved me a lot of problems. If you want to go to Yufuin, you don’t mind taking the train. It’s really convenient from here and you don’t have to fight for seats.

There was no bath cherry blossom range in the room! The futon was warm and surprised The breakfast was a little less than other inns, so it was a cut size! Women may be a little bit painful. Hot springs are always put in front of the hot springs if you put a tag on it. It was hot and very comfortable, probably because of the source ... There is a room up to 3F, but there is no elevator, so it may be difficult for older people. I want to go again because it was really good! Thank you very much!

The staff is friendly and speaks English well; the place is quiet and cozy, and the location is perfect. It’s almost a distance to Beppu tourist attractions, especially the Beppu tower and Beppu JR stations. The hostel is also located near the port area, where you can relax and take a break. The hostel also has a cafe, a spacious kitchen, and an artificial hot spring. Although some amenities are not included, you have to purchase them at the front desk, the accommodation cost is relatively cheap, so that’s okay. It's a good thing I have my own towels and other amenities. I will definitely be back here when I return.

Going in early February, the weather is very cold, but the atmosphere is good, there is a sauna, an outdoor onsen. But shared bathroom There is no towel provided, the location is quite difficult to travel.

You can borrow bicycles for free and ride to Hulu Hot Springs for a soak. It's so comfortable. The guy at the front desk is also very friendly and provides detailed introductions. The only problem is that the guests are all elderly and their snoring is a bit noisy at night.
