The service, amenities, and dining all meet a certain standard. It only takes about 25 minutes to drive from the airport to the hotel, yet the hotel is located in the city center. I stayed in room 408 and initially thought it might be noisy being on a lower floor, but it turned out to be quite good. A special shout-out goes to Ms. Monira from housekeeping; whenever I returned, she had already quietly tidied and cleaned the room perfectly. What's even more impressive is that she would arrange my belongings according to my habits, which is incredibly thoughtful and personalized. She is a very responsible and meticulous employee. I will definitely choose Holiday Inn Toronto Downtown Centre by IHG again next time I visit my daughter in Toronto.

We've enjoy our stay in this resort specially our kids. We love our room, theres microwave and dining table + chairs. Staff are friendly and very welcoming. Water park is beautiful and safe theres a lot of lifeguard in every corner. Theres 2 small jacuzzi but we never try, you have to wait for your turn. Very good location, theres a-lot of nearby shops and restaurants.

Pros: a parking lot with sufficient space (no need to book in advance). A shopping mall St Laurent is nearby. The breakfast is ok. There are 2 sockets and 2 USB-A outlet on each side of the bed. The staff are friendly in general. Cons: A bit far away from the tourist attractions downtown (around 10 minutes drive). The coffee from the in-room coffee machine was so-so. The air-conditioner was quite noisy. The TV in my room couldn't be turned off (It went off automatically after no-signal for a while anyway). There were some paper cups for coffee but no other glass / cups in the whole room even for brushing teeth so I had to use paper cups for brushing teeth (Is it considered environmental friendly?)

Fantastic staff and very close to the airport with. Free shuttle to and from. Such a breeze to chekc in after a delayed flight fast queue and upgraded room for free. Breakfast was 6am to 9:30 or 10am on weekends and was fantastic good variety and very good staff especially Sylvia - thank you for a wonderful dining experience. Rooms are huge all with AC and fans if needed and very well stocked and clean no issues and rebooked to stay again at the end of my trip and wood definitely recommend.

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction and to formally lodge a severe complaint regarding the unacceptable conditions of my stay at your property from 2 july to 3 july. My experience was nothing short of disastrous, characterized by an uninhabitable room environment, a blatant lack of accountability from your staff, and an absolute refusal by management to rectify the situation. During my stay, the climate control in my room was entirely inoperable. I approached the reception multiple times in a desperate attempt to resolve the issue: First Instance: The technician dispatched to my room explicitly admitted that the entire system was fundamentally broken due to a severe heating malfunction. Second Instance: The ”solution” provided by your staff was a completely ineffective portable fan. This gesture did absolutely nothing to alleviate the stifling, oppressive heat. The room remained a sweltering, suffocating box, utterly depriving me of sleep for the entire night. Third Instance: Exhausted and distressed, I went down to the reception a third time. Rather than moving me to a functional room, the overnight staff completely deflected responsibility, telling me there was nothing more they could do and instructing me to speak directly with management in the morning. The situation deteriorated further the next morning. When I approached the manager to demand a resolution for this intolerable ordeal, I was met with total dismissal. The manager callously deflected all accountability, claiming that because my booking was made through a third party, he ”cannot help with anything” and ”cannot do anything” to fix their own property's failure. Instead of taking ownership of a severe breach of hospitality standards, the manager simply handed me this email address to deal with the problem myself. Let me be entirely clear: a third-party booking does not excuse a hotel from providing basic, habitable living conditions. I did not pay to spend a sleepless night suffocating in a health hazard, nor did I pay to be brushed off by your on-site management. Because your property failed to provide a liveable room and your management failed to handle the crisis, I demand a full, immediate refund for this stay. If this matter is not addressed promptly and with the gravity it deserves, I will escalate this complaint to your corporate office, notify the booking platform of your refusal to cooperate, and publicly expose this experience online. This is a really beautiful hotel. Rooms were very neat. Everything worked as expected. The freezer actually froze the food we put in it. Staff were friendly. Booking this hotel is a bit difficult as they are usually fully booked. A lot of airlines use this hotel for their crew. We totally enjoyed our stay here. Definitely recommend it

This is my 2nd time staying in the resort. Overall js great except we were caught in the middle of the conflict between the security and management. Security staff has been on strike since July and they blocked off all the entrance and only allowed one car to go in every 15 minutes. It was confusing as there is no sign, no communication and we waited on the line for almost 2 hours just to get into the hotel. It is very frustrating and exhausting, which left bad taste on the weekend getaway.

The rooms are new and the location is convenient. The shuttle bus is fast and efficient, but since it also picks up guests from the Hyatt, it often gets too crowded and there aren't enough seats. The breakfast is better than Holiday Inn, but it can't compare to Crowne Plaza in China. The front desk staff are very friendly.

Stayed here on my layover in Toronto. Very nice. I didn’t eat or order anything unfortunately I was too tired and chose to sleep in the incredibly comfortable bed the whole time. I always like to choose Marriott brand hotels when possible and this experience just continues to reinforce that decision. I will say the hotel is a bit of a trek coming from terminal 3 with bags, as the hotel is in terminal 1. All in all it was good tho. Staff was very polite and helpful as well. I didn’t take a photo so please enjoy this child’s artwork of a beloved paper airplane.

Check in was very long as their system shut down right at 3pm and it took about 20 minutes until they were able to start. Staff were friendly and accommodating. There was only one working elevator and you could not get to the ground floor using the stairs as the stairwell sent you outside. Beds were comfortable and lots of space in the room for our family of 4. The decor is very dated. Unfortunately, our shower was not cleaned properly and there was coarse body hair on the walls.
