The Dyson hairdryer, high-quality pajamas, Peet's coffee, and a coffee machine are all highlights. Most importantly, the hotel also offers a video shoot of the 'dryland scallion pulling' experience, a welcome gift, and afternoon tea/coffee! Her warm hospitality helped us ease into the high altitude environment more easily! "I came to Lhasa backpacking alone, initially planning to rough it in a hostel for a few nights. But then a friend practically forced me to try this Hilton, saying 'you'll know once you stay here.' And okay, I admit, I'm completely hooked! The service was incredibly good. They proactively said, 'Let me arrange a comfortable yet affordable room for you,' and even hand-wrote a 'Lhasa guide' – telling me where to find the cheapest sweet tea, which monasteries have free entry, and which bus routes offer the best scenic views. The most touching moment was when I came back drenched from the rain one day. Immediately, someone brought me a bowl of hot herbal tea and a blanket, saying, 'Don't catch a cold, getting sick at high altitude is a hassle.' This kind of genuine care is something you might not even find in a five-star hotel. The value for money was surprisingly good. Honestly, I expected a Hilton to cost at least several hundred, but the price I booked was much lower than I anticipated, even more cost-effective than some private rooms in hostels. The room was clean and spacious, with oxygen supply and a humidifier, ensuring a really sound sleep at night. While breakfast wasn't a lavish buffet, it offered plenty of tsampa, butter tea, and boiled eggs, enough to keep me full until the afternoon, saving me lunch money. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and getting to the Potala Palace or Jokhang Temple costs just one yuan, making transportation costs almost negligible. After this stay, I feel like I hit the jackpot. Not just because it was affordable, but because of the unreserved kindness from the ******* people. Next time I visit Tibet, I won't hesitate – I'm definitely staying here again! 🙏🎒"

It's about a 20-minute drive from Linzhi High-Speed Rail Station. I chose it because I was taking the high-speed rail to Lhasa the next day. The breakfast was very good, and for dinner, we had the stone pot chicken set. The ******* chicken was quite tough, so we mainly just drank the soup. The hotel provides a full range of toiletries, including body lotion. I took a good oxygen-infused shower and washed my hair; I wouldn't dare wash it so easily the next day when heading to Lhasa."

"I stayed at the hotel for two nights. There was no breakfast, but upon entering, saffron tea was offered. We got a free upgrade to a one-bedroom suite with two large, comfortable beds. When a room became available in the middle of the night, they also provided us with an oxygen concentrator, which allowed us to sleep with the door closed. "The room was clean and the environment was good, the only drawback was the oxygen supply. The description said it was diffused, but around 7 pm, only a very weak oxygen supply was being produced. I initially thought it was a problem with the equipment, but after contacting the front desk, a security guard said that all the rooms were like that, without any adjustment. I had previously stayed at three different hotels, and all of them had adjustable oxygen supply. Especially at Pingcuo Kang Sang, I slept soundly through the night; their medical-grade oxygen supply was the most satisfying I experienced during my five-day trip to Tibet. A good night's sleep is really important. This night, I woke up with a headache at 3 am, and my blood oxygen level on my wristband had dropped to around 80%, so I had to use bottled oxygen myself. Even though I specifically chose an oxygen-supplied room, it didn't achieve the desired effect."

I booked a room with a Potala Palace view, and it truly felt like the entire palace was right in front of me – the view was absolutely perfect. The bedding was also very comfortable, and I slept wonderfully every night of my four-night stay. The facilities were comprehensive, with nasal oxygen equipment and a humidifier, both working well. The bathroom facilities were a bit basic, and there was a slight odor from the floor drain. Every night, fresh fruit and yogurt were delivered to the room; the yogurt was delicious. There's no private parking lot, so you have to walk about 100 meters, but the hotel reimburses the parking fee.

Many people, myself included, often debate between the St. Regis and the Shangri-La, as both hotels in Beijing are quite unremarkable. Ultimately, I chose the Shangri-La for its value for money. I had considered Songtsam too, but common sense told me to be a smart spender. Although the hotel shows its age, its architectural style is grand and refined, revealing luxurious material choices. Time has inevitably left its mark, but a classic car, even when old, is still a classic car. Moreover, service and quality require time to accumulate and withstand market scrutiny. While the Shangri-La may not have many existing locations, it still holds a strong market advantage, and it takes an discerning eye to appreciate it. My butler, Bowen, arranged my room before I even arrived. Looking out the window at the Potala Palace's silhouette in the distance immediately set the mood. He then meticulously delivered on all aspects of my package. I found Bowen to be a man of few words but very steady, highly responsive, and an exceptionally smooth driver. He never asked inappropriate or subjective questions, which I truly appreciated. Over three days, Bowen's accompaniment added a unique dimension to my Lhasa itinerary. Among the few Tibetans I've encountered, he was a definite plus. I sincerely wish him all the best in his work! The Shangri-La in Lhasa lives up to its brand's standards and enhances the reputation of its sister properties. I'm so glad I made the right choice; this will be a memorable and wonderful travel experience.

Returned to the Hilton Shigatse and loved it just as much as before! My account manager, Wang Haitao, called me in advance to check on my needs. Upon arrival, all the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Manager Wang Haitao even personally came to my room to ask if I was feeling unwell and brought me fruit and dried nuts. My three days in Shigatse were very pleasant, both physically and mentally. Thank you, Manager Wang and all the staff. Wishing you all success in your work and good health! See you next year 👋

Extremely satisfied! The hotel is very close to Barkhor Street and Potala Palace, both within walking distance, making its location absolutely superb! The hotel elevator goes directly to the 6th floor, where there's a popular cafe that's perfect for photos. Atour is a chain, so it's very clean and well-equipped with a light luxury feel. The Dyson hairdryer, high-quality pajamas, Peet's coffee, and a coffee machine are all highlights. Most importantly, the hotel also offers a video shoot of the 'dryland scallion pulling' experience, a welcome gift, and afternoon tea/coffee! There's also a butler service; you can just WeChat them if you need anything. Truly excellent! 👍🏻

I absolutely love Farly Hotel. The staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, are incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, like spinning prayer wheels and performing sang offerings. I particularly recommend the evening sound bath experience and the morning Pilates. The instructor's stretching exercises really helped improve my posture. I also woke up early to watch the sunrise, but there's a mountain to the east of Farly, so the sun actually appears about 45 minutes after the official sunrise time. Still, it was a beautiful sight.
