"This stay exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, the room was spotless, with good natural light and ventilation. The bed was just the right firmness, perfect for a good rest after a long day. Jonna, one of the staff members, was polite, attentive, and very responsive to requests. The common areas were spacious and well-maintained, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Overall, it's great value for money and an excellent choice for travelers."

"Overall, the hotel is pretty average, and the decor is quite dated. If you look closely, many areas are showing their age. Only the hotel exterior and lobby look decent. Let me focus on the issues. On the first day, we arrived at the hotel around 6 PM. When we drove onto the platform, I asked if I could park there while checking in, but they wouldn't let me, even though other cars were clearly parked there. After parking in the basement and going up to the front desk, three people were standing there with their heads down. I wasn't sure if they were busy or what they were doing, so I didn't want to disturb them. I stood about 3 to 5 meters away for over half a minute. Seeing that no one was paying attention to me, I asked, ”Can I check in?” Immediately, a man told me to come to him. I saw him quickly put his phone aside; it turned out all three of them were playing on their phones. After check-in, no one told me where to find the elevator. I blindly walked in the opposite direction of the parking lot elevator and, by chance, got it right. The hotel has two side wings, and even if I had guessed wrong, there would have been an elevator, but it would have been a long detour. As for the hotel management, I guess they haven't had much training. From the moment I arrived until I checked out, no one ever nodded at me, said hello, or acknowledged me in any way. It was always cold, indifferent brushes past each other. The room didn't have any general-purpose tissues, only one in the bathroom by the sink. I don't know if this is standard for all rooms or if they just forgot to put one in. The soundproofing in the room was poor. In the morning, I could clearly hear doors closing in other rooms, people talking in the hallway, and children shouting next door. In the afternoon, I hung the 'please clean' sign on the door when I went out, but by 4:30 PM, the room still hadn't been cleaned. The alarm clock by the bed was placed there, but it wasn't set correctly; it was an hour off, as shown in the picture. Instant coffee is acceptable, but only sugar packets were provided, with no creamer or non-dairy creamer. Last night, I went to the bar on the first floor. When I entered, there was a live singer performing. I couldn't see any staff at the bar, and there were no other guests. I walked to the bar to look at the menu, and suddenly a young man popped up from behind the computer. Right after we ordered our drinks, the singer left. We sat there for half an hour in complete silence; there wasn't even any soft background music. We were the only ones there the whole time."

"The hotel's amenities are pretty great, especially the air conditioning, which works really well. The smart toilet is fantastic, and the XiaoDu voice assistant is a convenient touch. The room itself is spacious and overall very good. However, the housekeeping really fell short. There was hair on the floor, which was disappointing. On a positive note, I got a room upgrade because I registered as a new member. But then, shortly after checking in and taking off my pants to relax, the room was inexplicably opened. Apparently, the front desk had asked housekeeping to remove the sparkling water and another drink from the complimentary mini-bar, stating that because of the room upgrade, these two drinks were no longer included. I was quite speechless. Talk about being petty! The breakfast was acceptable; the meat pies were delicious! One downside is that the rooms facing the street are very noisy at night, and the hallway can also be quite loud, so the soundproofing isn't great."

"The hotel facilities are fully equipped with a laundry room and gym, which is very convenient. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, provided excellent, warm, and thoughtful service. For breakfast, there are local specialty snacks like lamb soup and 'guada' (a local pancake), as well as some Western breakfast options, catering to different tastes. The room was clean, tidy, and well-lit. Overall, it was a very good experience."

"This InterContinental hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance to Daming Lake and Quancheng Square, and right next to Henglong Plaza, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and they offer family rooms with twin beds that include three meals, which is very friendly for families traveling with children. The in-room dining service is excellent, with a rich menu that maintains the consistent high standards of InterContinental; my child even said the food was delicious. The catering manager also thoughtfully provided seasonal wellness hot drinks, all three flavors were very tasty, sugar-free or low-sugar, which is perfect for those who can't drink tea or coffee! The front desk service was attentive, and a special thanks to Guest Relations Officer Quissy for her prompt responses. The check-in experience was fantastic. The travel photography service was also great; both the makeup artist and photographer were very patient. We walked to Pearl Spring and Daming Lake for outdoor shots and finally chose a package, leaving us with wonderful memories of our trip. Oh, and on every floor, there were multiple bottles of mineral water next to the elevators for guests to take at any time – so generous! Overall, highly recommended!"

"While visiting Qingdao, I decided to spend a day in Jinan and chose the Shangri-La. Before checking in, I called to confirm that my room was ready. The lobby is impressive, and the room was spacious, quiet, and well-equipped. The toiletries were excellent, and I particularly liked the eco-friendly bamboo toothbrushes and combs. The hotel is conveniently located opposite Quancheng Square, perfect for an evening stroll to watch the musical fountain. Baotu Spring is also within walking distance. There are plenty of malls nearby, and both takeout and dining options are easily accessible. The old city, however, is genuinely congested; it took almost 40 minutes to get to Jinan Station by taxi, and I barely made my train. The hotel also seems to offer intangible cultural heritage activities, but I didn't have time to participate. I would definitely choose this hotel again for a more leisurely trip to Jinan."

"The hotel has a great location and plenty of parking spaces on the ground level, including slow chargers. There's a kids' play area, and breakfast is abundant. They offer local cultural experiences at various times throughout the day; I signed my child up for the 'huamo' (steamed bun art) activity, and they absolutely loved it."

"I brought my children to Weihai during the summer vacation. I looked at the hotel and it was more expensive. Later, I thought that Rushan was also Weihai’s municipal-level city. It should not be too far away. I came to Rushan and chose this newly opened hotel. The front desk clerk service was very good. After staying at the hotel, the whole room was very dry. Net, very luxurious, originally set two nights today because of temporary things at 7:00 pm left this hotel, I thought that this money would not be refunded to us, I didn't expect to receive the customer service call of Trip.com at 8:05 to refund the money that I didn't live tonight to us. Often unexpectedly grateful, really good service hotel, next time you come, you must still live here. The facilities inside are really luxurious and very advanced."

"Passing through on our way back to Beijing, we decided to exit the highway for Dezhou Braised Chicken! I was torn between two hotels but ultimately chose Atour—and it was definitely the right call! It's so new and conveniently located close to the highway exit. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful, helping me find the best price when I checked in. We booked a family king room, and the three of us slept very comfortably. The breakfast was fantastic, and the lotus root patties were especially delicious! Even though it was just a one-night stop in Dezhou, we rested incredibly well. Eating at Yingxiang Dezhou and staying at Atour was absolutely the perfect combination!"

"The room was fantastic, a cozy two-story layout with a balcony! We were able to experience the charm of Confucian culture up close (it's very close to the 'Three孔' scenic area). Our family excitedly discussed the Analects, believing that in such a quiet and harmonious environment, Confucius himself would surely feel our presence. The experience was unparalleled! We also felt the meticulous and thoughtful assistance from Marriott's front desk staff, Xiao Qian and Xiao Hong, who are from the birthplace of Confucianism. They helped me mail documents and even sent back my child's pants that were left behind after we checked out! I'm not sure if 'Marriott' (万豪) derives its '万' from the 'wan ren gong qiang' (万仞宫墙 - ten-thousand-foot palace wall) and its '豪' from the 'hao jie' (豪杰 - heroes) who have bowed down for centuries, but I do know that 'green hair' (绿发 - *possibly a playful or inside reference, hard to translate directly without context, so kept as is*) hides the promise of our family's next spontaneous journey!"
