Regarding the facilities, I need to pay by my own self for the car parking service. They are charging RM 24 per day and I am staying for 4 days 3 nights. Do you think how much I need to pay for the car parking which they never stated that visitors or customers need to paying by ourselves. I hope that in the future, please stated very clearly that we need to paying by ourselves without inform us.

The room was great, very clean and comfortable, and the front desk service was on point. Although the hotel is a bit older, it is very well-maintained overall. It is conveniently located within walking distance of several popular spots, including the Cecil Street Market. There are plenty of authentic local snacks and night markets nearby. I stayed for two consecutive nights and slept soundly—the bedding was crisp and fresh, and the room amenities were fully stocked. It felt very safe, and I was very satisfied with my stay. Highly recommended!

Had a really enjoyable staycation. The room was comfortable and just right for 4 people. Towels, iron, pillows, mineral water, coffee... all the basic amenities were fine. The bathtub and toilet were clean. However, upon checking in, as soon as I opened the door, the room had a stale smell. Perhaps it was because of showering in the room, making it a bit wet and damp. The hotel also gave a special warning about Charlie ants. The air conditioning was extremely cold. The TV channels were acceptable. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. Both check-in and check-out were smooth. I was able to check in 15 minutes early and check out an hour late, which was great. There were so many choices for breakfast, I was very happy. The famous Natrah Nasi Kandar is just a 2-minute walk away. Parking felt safe. Overall, it was excellent.

I’ve always wanted to spend a day at Lone Pine Penang, and I’m so happy I finally got the chance to experience it. 🤍 Everything about the stay was lovely, from the beautiful colonial-inspired surroundings and charming architecture to the peaceful atmosphere and thoughtful service. The whole place feels like a little escape from the busy world, with such a timeless and whimsical charm. It was exactly the kind of place I had imagined it would be, and getting to slow down and enjoy a day here felt really special. Definitely a stay I’ll remember and a place I’d love to return to someday. ✨

The room was really unique and interesting, an experience I'd never had before. The location is excellent too; you can walk to all the nearby photo-op spots, and the closest restaurants are all delicious. Walking to Clan Jetties is also no problem. The free bus stop is just across the street, which is super convenient. I highly recommend staying here for both the ambiance and location. The Indian staff members at the hotel were all very friendly and would greet us proactively. We arrived at the hotel around 12 PM, right after our flight. One of the staff members said we could check-in early at 1:30 PM, so we left our luggage at the front desk and went out for lunch, thinking we could come back, change, and head out for some sightseeing and photos. However, when we returned at the appointed time, a different female staff member told us we couldn't check in until 2:30 PM. I simply mentioned that I was previously told we could check in at 1:30 PM, and she immediately became upset, telling me not to pressure or rush her. To accommodate her mood, my family of three quietly sat with her in the lobby for half an hour. After that, she simply announced that it was time to check in, without having received any calls or anything – it was just the scheduled time. All the other staff members at this hotel were very enthusiastic, but she was always unhappy and gave us a cold shoulder whenever we saw her. I hope she can find some happiness. I understand that the official check-in time is 3 PM. I was just trying to discuss an earlier check-in. If I had been told from the start that early check-in wasn't possible, I would have taken a taxi to a more distant area to explore and returned later. Travel time is limited, and I want to plan my trips more efficiently, not waste time waiting in a hotel lobby to check in. I'm not here to accompany her at work, and I hope she can be more professional and consider the needs of travelers. I really hope other guests staying here don't encounter her; everything else was perfect.

The hotel is within walking distance of the main attractions. There are plenty of shops with groceries and souvenirs nearby to suit all tastes. The room has everything necessary (TV, refrigerator, kettle, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, bottled water). The food is monotonous, and there aren't many dishes, but you won't go hungry. The room is quite small, there's no wardrobe, only a couple of hangers on a rack, and virtually no storage space, which is very inconvenient. The room needs a cosmetic renovation. The ceiling in the shower is low, so if you're taller than average, showering will be uncomfortable. The staff is friendly. It's fine for a couple of days.

Environment: The hotel's restaurants are all on the west side, so the rooms on the west side are terrible. There's a strong smell of cooking oil in the rooms and a heavy odor in the hallway. It smells like steaming in the morning and stir-frying/grilling at other times, which is really bad. Noise: The hotel rooms are all next to the環山(Huanshan) highway, so it's very noisy. Surroundings: It's next to Cat Beach, which is lovely, and it's very convenient to get to the Butterfly Garden and Spice Garden. However, the shuttle bus to the city and Dingyi Beach only has 15 spots per day.

The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the housekeeping team was friendly and attentive, providing just the right amount of amenities when needed. The room was comfortable, clean, and meticulously maintained. The location is excellent with very convenient transportation.

PARKROYAL Penang Resort is well-known for its breakfast. We stayed for two days; we couldn't wake up in time on the first day, but we made sure to set an alarm for the second day. Indeed, there was a wide variety and the quality was quite good. Although the hotel isn't as massive as some other resort hotels, the facilities are quite complete and the ecosystem is fantastic—we saw squirrels, monkeys, and all kinds of birds. The service attitude was also exceptional. I had a mix-up and accidentally selected cash on delivery for my Grab order, but I didn't have any cash on me. I ended up asking a staff member for help, and he was just so kind! I'm so grateful! There is a huge swing in the hotel; swinging on it while listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore was incredibly therapeutic. In the evening, you can take a walk to the nearby beach where there are fire-dancing performances and plenty of beachside shops where you can eat while watching the show.

We had a great stay here! The bed was so comfy, and I really appreciated the extra pillows. Slept like a baby until morning! The room was surprisingly spacious, which was perfect for our tamily and all our luggage. There was plenty of space to repack our bags and even perform prayers comfortably. I also loved the modern interior and the warm lighting in the room. The hotel also provides two complimentary drinks, and you can choose between orange juice, coffee, or tea. The ambience was lovely, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. Free parking for hotel guests is definitely a bonus.
