"The hotel is bit far from I-55 but it’s still very close. Makes for an easy off and on. Staff is exceptionally nice. Room was exceptionally dated however clean and nothing was broken or damaged. Exercise room was very nice. Breakfast was wonderful for this price range. True scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, as well as the usual waffles and fruit. "

"The hotel is a typical airport hotel, had a very helpful shuttle driver (Ray) and the other staff interacted with were very friendly and helpful.  Located just offsite from the airport, opposite a shopping mall and had a small selection of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.  Room was clean and had everything needed. Bathroom had good water pressure and provided nice toiletries.  This was a one-night stay prior to flying home from O'Hare and met all needs. "

"The room is comfortable, the location is excellent, and the surrounding public transportation is convenient. Breakfast is too single, the end time is early. Service is very good, there is a free shuttle to the campus, there is a free shuttle directly to Champagne Airport."

"The hotel offers good facilities like the pool, and the breakfast, even over a 4-day stay, remains enjoyable due to the variety in the offerings. Additionally, free parking is a nice perk. However, I was disappointed that the safe in my room was not functioning and wasn’t repaired during our 4-night stay. Another downside was the hotel's policy of not making the beds or changing towels during the first 3 nights. On a positive note, when I requested fresh towels, they provided them promptly."

"Besides needing staff to cover busy times such as check in and out, the accomodations are excellent. Clean marble bathrooms with white towels. Beds white as snow and comfortable. First time seen house staff friendly and responsive to your needs. Downers Grove hotel have elevators to third floor. Breakfast was standard for first and menu posted for each morning and the eating area was clean and kept maintained by kitchen staff as people dined left tables..Noise free rooms. Individual temperature rooms controls. Wide hallways and have communication friendly rooms whatever these are. Again, communication to the front desk from room was cumbersome as long rings to answer from phones I'm rooms by front desk staff lady. Can perhaps use a two person a peak times or as a balance during the day for better response."

"Parking garage was horrible. Cement crumbling. Stairwell in parking garage had drug bags used cut cans used for cigarette butts, dirty clothes and trash. Hallways in hotel were dirty. Room was good. Pool and hot tub was nice. Great location."

"The room facilities are great, the location is average, and the location of Uber's taxi is sometimes deviated. Service is general, the hotel is not large, but will receive local business, or private gatherings, have no time to take into account the needs of individual guests, did not enjoy the hotel breakfast service during the stay. Early check-out has a rate loss."

"Overall, we had a great stay at the Warwick Allerton and would definitely stay here again. For the price, the location and quality of the room were hard to beat. The location is excellent, right on the Magnificent Mile and about a 10-minute walk from both the Grand and Chicago Red Line stations. It made a great base for exploring the city, and it was easy to come back to the hotel whenever we wanted to rest during the day. We arrived around 11 AM, well before the 4 PM check-in time, hoping to store our luggage. There is a luggage storage area near the entrance for $2 per piece. Unfortunately, this was probably the most frustrating part of our stay. We waited about five minutes for an attendant, who then directed us upstairs to see if we could check in early. Early check-in was available for around $30 if a room was ready, but since we already had plans, we decided to just store our bags. We were sent back downstairs, where the attendant was gone again, and we waited about 15 minutes along with several other guests before someone returned. Given how many guests arrive before check-in, I wish the luggage storage process were a little more efficient. When we returned around 4:30 PM, however, check-in was quick and seamless. The employees were friendly and efficient, and retrieving our luggage was surprisingly fast as well. Our room was on the 22nd floor and was lovely—clean, bright and comfortable, with a great view of the surrounding city blocks. We booked a king room, and it was a genuinely large king-size bed, which was definitely worth the upgrade. The bedding was especially soft and luxurious. The pillows were decent, although a couple were slightly lumpy, and the bed frame was a little squeaky. There was plenty of lighting and conveniently placed power outlets throughout the room. The bathroom was small but stylish and made good use of the space. The shower had decent water pressure, and the water could get VERY hot, which I appreciated. There were a few minor downsides. Our room was directly across from the elevators, so we could sometimes hear them arriving and people getting on and off. There are five main elevators serving a large hotel, and we occasionally had to wait a few minutes for one, especially during busier times. Street noise could also be surprisingly noticeable from the 22nd floor when particularly loud motorcycles or cars went by. The AC worked well enough and kept the room comfortable, but it seemed to bottom out around 68°F. I personally like my hotel rooms absolutely freezing, so I supplemented it with a portable fan. Housekeeping was great throughout our stay. They made the bed, replaced towels daily and were always friendly. Despite those relatively minor complaints, this was a very comfortable and cozy stay. We actually ended up spending quite a bit of time relaxing in the room because it was such a pleasant place to come back to after exploring Chicago. Between the comfortable room, friendly staff, fantastic location and very reasonable price, I thought the Warwick Allerton offered excellent value. I would happily stay here again."
