"Place is old, and somewhat outdated, and u do hear the traffic from the freeway. But, for the cost for the night, which was $120, overall, it was good value for money. When I first arrived, as it was after hours, I dealt with the caretaker, who was friendly, and also helped me get into my room, cos I was having trouble with the door lock, which was my fault! I didn't use the kitchen facilities, except the fridge, but kitchen was equipped with enough items to be able to cook a meal easily. Bathroom was good, with shower over bath, (and big size bath too), so with not having a bath at home, I soaked for ages! I was informed before arrival, that only mini soap and toilet paper was provided, so I knew to bring body wash, hair conditioner, and other toiletries. Bed was comfy, and bedroom is quite large. TV maybe a little small, but the room had a couple of cupboards, and some hangers for clothes. Place was fairly clean, keeping in mind that it is an older property. Check out was easy, and I was met by a friendly receptionist behind the desk. I would definately stay again, if the price was as good, I'd just bring some earplugs for sleep, cos of traffic noise, which is no fault of the apartments of course!"

"Quest Kings Park Hotel is perfect for long-haul self-driving trips in Western Australia, offering great value for money. The room comes with a washing machine and a powerful dryer. The hotel even thoughtfully provides laundry detergent, which is a huge convenience for changing clothes during a long journey. The apartment-style room is well-equipped, close to Kings Park, and offers convenient parking for those driving. It's clean and tidy, highly recommended for long-term stays."

"We had a wonderful stay at Oaks Perth Hotel, and the biggest highlight was definitely the location. It’s only about a 3-minute walk to Perth Underground Station, which connects directly to Perth Station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city and travel to places like Fremantle and beyond. The hotel is also within walking distance of plenty of shopping, including Kmart, Woolworths, Sephora, and many other stores, so everything we needed was close by. As Muslim travellers, we also appreciated that there was a Malaysian restaurant serving halal food just a short walk away, along with several other halal dining options nearby. The room itself was comfortable, although it is a little dated. It was spacious enough for our family, and the largest room could comfortably accommodate up to six adults with one main bed and two sofa beds. The kids especially loved having their own little space in front of the TV. The pillows were very comfortable, and while our booking didn’t include housekeeping, it wasn’t an issue since we were only staying for a few days. My only suggestions for improvement would be to provide a sponge holder in the kitchenette and a little more dishwashing liquid, as only two small packets were provided. We also noticed that a few of the pots and some dishware still had stains on them, so a little more attention to the cleanliness of the kitchen utensils would make the stay even better. I didn’t manage to take many photos during our stay (just this one!), but I can say that the hotel’s listing photos are an accurate representation of the rooms. What you see is truly what you get, which we really appreciated. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The unbeatable location made getting around Perth so easy, and we’d definitely consider staying here again on our next visit."

"Clean and comfortable stay. Walkable to many shops and food outlets. The only gripe is that the paid parking is one street away. The room is neat and clean. The dryer and washer are clean and well-maintained - surprised that the lint filter is clean and empty, unlike some accommodation that don't bother to empty it. Spare pillows provided in the cupboards if you need additional ones. Would be good if a trash bin can be provided at the living area, and a drying rack for wet dishes. Pleasant and helpful staff. Note that the front desk is open till 11pm only. For late arrivals, do inform them. We reached at about 8pm and none of the street parking outside the apartments was not available so it was cumbersome to move all our luggages along with our kids. The entrance is not barrier-free (3 small steps into the main door) so travellers with heavy luggages might require some help. The building is secure with a tap access lock into the main door."

"Very clean, well kept apartment with the full amenities for a 3-night stay. We were checking in as a family of 2 adults and a child. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main Perth city centre, Joondalup was a peaceful getaway for us during the New Year celebrations. Reception was always friendly and helpful and paid secured parking was available. Thank you."

"I visited by rental car. The location was very easy to find using Google Maps. The reception entrance is by the rotary, but you can't park in the rotary itself. So, I had to temporarily park in an empty spot along the road that runs parallel to the Kune river, opposite the reception from the rotary. Luckily, there was an available parking space, but the road is narrow, so it might have been tricky if there hadn't been any. The reception is open 24 hours, which is very convenient, but sometimes the staff steps away, which can be a bit of a scare. All the staff members were kind and very helpful. After checking in, we were assigned a specific parking spot with a designated number. There's an elevator from the parking lot to each room, which is extremely convenient. However, the parking spaces aren't very wide; our car was a Nissan X-Trail, and it was quite difficult to get in and out due to the narrow gap between our car and the next one. The room was as spacious and comfortable as I expected. There were two showers, both easy to use. A washing machine and dryer were installed, which I found convenient for long stays. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very user-friendly. We could buy groceries at the supermarket and cook or heat them in the microwave, which saved money on meals. There's only one air conditioner in the living room, so its effectiveness in mid-summer is unknown, but we didn't experience any inconvenience in late March. A fan was also provided in the bedroom, but we didn't use it. Coffee and tea were available, and we could make hot water with the provided kettle. My son bought cup noodles at the supermarket and was happy to eat them there. The view from the room wasn't particularly great, but there was a table and chairs on the balcony. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Elizabeth Quay and Perth Port. It was a convenient location for catching the ferry to Rottnest Island. Elizabeth Quay station and the bus terminal are also about a 10-minute walk away. There's a bus stop on the street in front of the hotel, but we didn't use it as the routes were unclear. However, if you go to the bus terminal, the Blue CAT stops there, which is useful for heading towards Perth station. Jacobs Ladder is about a 5-minute walk, and climbing the stairs takes you into Kings Park. From the observation deck at the top of the stairs, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Swan River and Perth's high-rise district. In this respect, I felt the location was excellent. There's also a cafe nearby that's perfect for breakfast."

"I had a great experience staying here before, so I booked again. This time, I arrived at the hotel late at night after a tiring flight. The front desk initially said they couldn't find my reservation. After searching for half an hour, they said they found it but claimed I had already checked in. I told them I was right there and hadn't checked in yet. They then spent another twenty minutes verifying. During all this, I contacted Trip.com customer service, who were very responsive and helpful; an agent quickly reached out to the hotel. However, the hotel staff were incredibly slow and inefficient. The whole check-in process took nearly an hour. It was a stark contrast to my previous, much better experience. Furthermore, on my last stay, they provided a full set of disposable amenities, but this time, there weren't even disposable slippers. I was just too tired in the middle of the night to bother looking for another hotel. Honestly, this service experience was really disappointing. The environment is actually good, and the location is right next to UWA. Getting to the city takes about ten minutes by taxi. Kudos to Trip.com's customer service; they were efficient even late at night and had an excellent attitude in resolving the issue!"

"Cleanliness close to perfect overall, some kitchen utensils and furniture might look old/dirty and need a change but you can always request for clean utensils. It would have been better if the king bed is a proper king bed rather than 2 single beds zipped together."
