"The room was very clean, and I did not notice any areas that felt dirty during my stay. The location is excellent for anyone who has business at the university. However, for tourists, it may be less convenient, as there is no nearby metro or train station and traveling around requires taking a taxi. For me, since I was visiting a friend who studies at the university, the location was perfect. The staff were cheerful, friendly, and very helpful throughout my stay. The room was well equipped with most of the necessary amenities. The only thing missing was a refrigerator. Surprisingly (and amusingly), there was even laundry detergent provided 😂, which was a nice and unexpected touch."

"The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. The room decor is warm and elegant, and the view from the window is expansive. The soundproofing is good, so it's very quiet at night, allowing me to get plenty of rest. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and tastes great. Overall, I feel it's great value for money and I would recommend it to friends. Five stars!"

"Even though everything is new, it felt better than expected! The main thing is that we didn't have any bad meals during our three days in the scenic area – the food was good, and the prices weren't high, which was a pleasant surprise! The tidal bore show in front of the visitor center plays for 10 minutes every hour on the hour, and it's free to watch. Before we checked in, the hotel added me on WeChat and provided check-in instructions, navigation, and parking information. Since I didn't want to get stuck in traffic during the holiday, I took the subway and then the Hanghai Intercity line. After getting off at Yanguan station, I didn't want to wait for the shuttle bus, so I took a taxi. It took about an hour and a half from the city center to the scenic area, and the journey was quite smooth. A big thank you to the front desk staff, Xiao Meng and Xiao Xiu, for all the information they provided during our stay. Both the daytime and nighttime views are great, with plenty of places to explore and eat – though it does make your legs tired. The shuttle bus is free for hotel guests, but it takes a roundabout route. Unless you're going to watch the tide at the Tidal Bore Park, it's not really necessary for non-guests. Tidal Bore Park requires a separate ticket; you'll regret it if you don't see the bore, and you might regret it if you do – it's mainly about experiencing it since you're already here. Be sure to protect yourself from heatstroke and sunburn when watching the tide! All the activities are music-related, with循环 performances. You can check the schedule via the WeChat mini-program. The scenic area map is a bit abstract, though; the locations of the shows are basically impossible to find directly on the map. You either have to ask someone or try to figure out the connections to find them. Don't rely on the routes shown on the map; just use it for general direction. If you want to go somewhere, walk in the general direction, and you can cut through small paths and buildings – as long as there's a path, you can go. Walking in and out of the Xuande Gate Hotel, the small side gate is the most convenient. Currently, only the indoor pool is open. I also took a stroll to the Main Singer Hotel on the other end; it has a different style, so it might be nice to try staying there for a day."

"The hotel room was excellent, facing south and getting plenty of sunlight through its floor-to-ceiling windows. It was very clean, and the bedding was super comfortable. The two beds in our twin room were much wider than what you usually find in hotels, which made for a great night's sleep. All the amenities provided were high-end and very comprehensive. I really love this hotel. The breakfast also offered a great variety of options. Highly recommend it to everyone!"

"During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, we took the kids to Yanguan to see the Qiantang River tidal bore. We chose this Haishi Hotel based on reviews, and it was a wonderful surprise! The hotel rooms were spacious, with balconies, exquisitely decorated, and the service was excellent! Located right at the entrance of the ancient city scenic area, hotel guests can enter and exit the area multiple times using facial recognition, or take a shuttle bus – very convenient! There's a restaurant called Guchengmen Restaurant downstairs; the reviews suggested the food was good, but it was too crowded, so we ate out instead. We'll try it again next time!"

"The hotel is relatively new, and I was upgraded to a suite. The room was spacious with good facilities, but there was still a slight odor. I arrived at 2 PM, and there wasn't much to eat; the coffee bar only offered one snack platter and cake. The music museum downstairs is worth a visit, it's quite good. The pool has a nice view, but the management is lax; people can enter without a swimming cap or proper swimwear, which is frustrating. There are plenty of shuttle buses from the hotel to the scenic area. The scenic area is still under construction, so it wasn't crowded, and commercial activity was a bit slow. The scenery is beautiful and quite similar to Wuzhen, but Wuzhen is too crowded. It would be better if some of the crowd could be diverted here."

"Hotel Check-in Review The stay experience exceeded expectations! The hotel is conveniently located and the surrounding supermarkets are complete. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the sound insulation was good, and the night was very quiet. "It's been a long time since I wanted to comment on a trip. First of all, the hotel hardware is very good. The room is very spacious, with two beds and a chaise longue with armrests. Three generations of people, one old, one big and one small, stayed there. It was very comfortable. The facilities in the room were very new and good. The room with a balcony could see the river view and sunrise. Although there was no sign, the check-in experience was good and the staff was well-trained. Thank you very much for the service in the past two days. Recommended! I stayed at the Pacific Hotel and went to Hangzhou during the day. I suggest that everyone go to Hangzhou to park their cars in the Huanglong Sports Parking Lot, which is capped at 30 yuan. It is very convenient to take children and the elderly to the Science and Technology Museum, the Natural History Museum and the West Lake. The hotel exterior and the West Lake scenery are shown later."

"The room can see the Qiantang River, the view is beautiful! The sanitary environment is quite good 👍 and the facilities are very new. I would like to especially praise the service sisters on duty. They are warm and considerate, and their service is patient and attentive. They answer all questions and respond to every request. They also provide an additional travel guide. I like it very much. "Very nice resort. I didn’t use all the amenities but it looks very nice. The food is not very foreigner friendly, specially the breakfast. Not many people during the weekdays so buffet isn’t available but the people is very nice and welcoming."
