"This was my first time staying here. The breakfast's tofu pudding is a specialty, freshly made by the chef, and the Muchuan Slaw was a unique and delightful first-time experience. However, I did encounter a few issues: 1. After checking in, I was about to rest when someone suddenly came to deliver fruit. For OTA guests, the fruit should be placed in the room beforehand. 2. The room was courtyard-style, but the personalized butler service didn't quite keep up. Though, the housekeeping staff who helped me open the door was very enthusiastic. 3. I mentioned it was my first visit and asked if I could get an upgrade to a room with a balcony. I was told over the phone that there were no rooms available, but I suspect there were still rooms, and the hotel wasn't fully booked. 4. The most frustrating and awkward issue was the bed frame design – it's a major problem. I couldn't get a good night's sleep. I carefully checked the cause of the problem; the sturdy quality of the KingKoil mattress couldn't be wrong, so it must be the bed frame! Despite these points, in the spirit of encouragement and improvement, I'm still giving it a 5-star rating."

The main road to the city center was blocked due to crowds, but the front desk told me I could try driving straight through. The room is up on the mountain, and the elevator is quite unique. It was very quiet during my stay, and the facilities were complete, with all disposable toiletries provided. Overall, it was great and definitely recommended."

"The hotel's facilities are excellent. Beautiful design, layout, the breakfast area is nice as well, the hot springs are pretty and well designed. The room is also lovely, spacious and I booked a double room and they upgraded for one with a varanda. When I checked into my room, there was a very loud, constant noise of water dripping on the foyer. They fixed this quickly, however, the staff was a bit resistant in putting me in another varanda room, they wanted to put me in a normal double, but I said no and they relented. The women at reception, with whom I talked about this, were not the nicest, not as welcoming and friendly as other hotels I've stayed in. The breakfast was pretty weak for a 4 star hotel, on trip it says that they have Western options but these are minimal, I suggest you remove this from the hotel's informations, as it is misleading. Lastly, the toilet cover's underside was dirty as shows the picture, but this was the only cleanliness complaint the rest was great. Hot springs were marvelous, best part of the hotel, going there after a long day was amazing, really loved them. All in all, despite these complaints, the experience in the hotel was very, very good. I specially liked the springs, room and design of it."

"The guesthouse has a great location, right by the river. Although it's adjacent to Binjiang Road, it's not noisy. The windows are at the back, and you can see the river view right outside the door and in the corridor – it's fantastic. Wang Zhongshun Food Street is just a five-minute walk away, which is very convenient. The place is clean and hygienic, and the owner is very welcoming. I would definitely stay again. It's also very convenient to get to the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area; it's a five-minute walk to the pier, and the scenic area is right across the street."

"My first stay at HUALUXE Hotel Leshan was beyond expectations! From the warm reception by Mr. Hu at the front desk, who kindly upgraded us to a room with a minibar, the accommodation was exceptionally quiet—perfect for families with kids. The breakfast spread was a delightful surprise, featuring abundant local Leshan specialties like tofu brain, ka bing (stuffed buns), and both spicy/non-spicy boboji (skewered dishes). The architecture blends seamlessly with the surrounding mountains and wilderness. The hotel offers a comprehensive range of amenities, including courtyards, guest rooms, a swimming pool, a restaurant, and a cafe. Facilities: The facilities are well-equipped and excellently maintained. Cleanliness: The indoor areas are spotless. Despite being in a mountainous area, there wasn't a single mosquito. Environment: The environment is beautiful, with stunning views at every turn. Service: The service, from the front desk to the restaurant, was incredibly thoughtful. They helped with luggage and were especially attentive to our children.

I spent two nights at this beautiful hotel, on a visit to Emeishan with my girlfriend. It was an amazing experience! First of all, the pick-up from the train station by the hotel owner was really a welcome touch — he helped us greatly throughout our stay, making sure we had the best possible experience in Emeishan. The room itself was beautiful — amazing views from our own private balcony; a very tasteful, new and comfortable interior; impeccably clean; and a great selection of fruit, snacks, etc. in the room. A beautiful and convenient location too. The breakfast was really good — lots of dishes, and both days were different. It was lovely to sit on the balcony in the morning, looking out at mountains, eating a delicious breakfast and drinking coffee. I would highly recommend visiting Emeishan itself, and I think this hotel is the perfect base for a trip there — the next day, we visited Leshan giant Buddha (not far away by train), before returning to Chengdu in the evening. Overall, a great place to stay, and I definitely want to visit again!

Everything was amazing from start to end. Our host picked us up from the train station and took us directly to the accomodation. He waited while we got changed to quickly shuttle us to the pickup area for the bus to the Golden Summit. At the end of the day, he was waiting for us to shuttle us back to the hotel. The hotel’s location is spectacular and our room was beautiful with an amazing view of the mountains. We ate dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious. Breakfast, likewise, was really tasty. The staff really made us feel comfortable and were available to answer questions and provide suggestions at any time. Felt like a very luxurious stay.

Staying at the Le Méridien Emei Mountain was truly a 'stress-free family vacation' experience. The meticulous attention to detail from the hotel staff was incredibly impressive – they thoughtfully reminded us of the pool opening hours and provided warm, professional service with a constant smile. The breakfast restaurant was a paradise for families: the buffet spread was extensive, featuring not only classic Western dishes but also authentic Sichuan flavors like spicy mapo tofu pudding, 'boboji' (skewered dishes), and beef noodles, which even the kids loved. What's more, they offered dedicated high chairs and even breakfast to-go, making it easy for families heading out early for a mountain hike. The parent-child entertainment facilities were excellent: the indoor heated pool had professional lifeguards and child-friendly swim rings, with comfortable water temperatures allowing kids to swim freely without a worry. The outdoor starry sky-themed children's playground, complete with slides, a ball pit, and climbing nets, had kids running around excitedly the moment they entered, leaving parents completely at ease. The hot spring area allowed us to soak while enjoying distant views of the Golden Summit, letting family time flow naturally amidst the mountains and waters. From small details to the overall experience, the hotel truly embodied 'family-centric' values – it wasn't just a slogan, but a genuine response seen in every smile, every meal, and every warm pool. This will definitely be our top choice for our next family trip!

The hotel was a pleasant surprise during our trip; the kids and our dog were very happy with it, as it had a large bathtub and a small garden. Since we were leaving very early the next day, our butler, Jiqing, thoughtfully packed breakfast and provided a lot of information on sightseeing and dining options. Leshan is a treasure trove of a city; besides the Giant Buddha, there are many other fun places to visit. I would definitely choose to cycle solo for a thousand miles again next time.

The hotel is located relatively near to Emeishan High Speed Rail Station and the hotel conveniently provides pick up and drop off service upon guests' request, though Mandarin communication skills may be required. It is however possible to contact the hotel through the Trip.com message portal to arrange the pick up service. The room was very pleasant and well furnished with amenities. My only gripe is the toiletries provided (soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion) are limited in small bottles and had to be carefully rationed. They also provide free breakfast which I found to be quite satisfactory, though don't expect a Western continental breakfast. Got to try chaoshou wontons and corn leaf wrapped Baba for the first time, so that was good. You can ask to copy Buddhist scripture in the dining hall or they can send the kit to your room at your leisure. The public hot spring was under maintenance, but it was satisfactory enough to use the private hot spring in my room. Overall a very lovely stay. Staff are also very helpful in recommending the sites, attractions, food and how to get around, though Mandarin again required.

Extremely satisfied with our trip! This hotel offers incredible value for money. We originally booked a Roman-themed room, but we arrived quite early, and our room wasn't ready yet. A staff member at the front desk named Wu Yujia kindly upgraded us to a balcony king room in the main building. She even added us on WeChat to keep us informed about the hotel's activity schedule and other details. The room was quite spacious. Although the hotel facilities looked a bit dated, they paid great attention to details; even the toothbrushes were of good quality, not the cheap kind. Just a heads-up: the outdoor hot springs only open after 1:30 PM. The hotel provides a shuttle bus service to and from the high-speed rail station, which is very convenient. From 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM, the restaurant also offers a late-night snack service – very thoughtful! We accidentally left our child's swimsuit in the changing room, and they were kind enough to keep it safe for us. When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir. Overall, a very satisfying stay. The breakfast also featured Leshan's local specialties like tofu pudding and 'ka bing' (a type of flatbread).

Our stay at Wyndham Grand Emei was absolutely perfect for our Emei Mountain vacation. The hotel is situated right by the Emei River, and the water is crystal clear. The courtyard design creates a wonderful atmosphere. Our room was spacious and featured smart controls. It's very close to the Emei Mountain scenic area entrance, making hiking incredibly convenient. The butler service was attentive throughout our stay, and they were quick to respond to any requests. The breakfast selection was quite extensive. The hotel is ideally located very close to the scenic area, boasting a beautiful environment and fresh air. The service was incredibly attentive, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. They offered a generous amount of complimentary amenities, including station pick-up/drop-off, fresh fruit, and afternoon tea. The overall service was truly outstanding.

The room has a small balcony, handy for luggage storage, and laundry facilities are available. It was spotless, with well-kept plants adding to the ambiance. We enjoyed how quiet it was, both day and night, despite being surrounded by plenty of dining options. As an added bonus, you can head up to the third floor for lovely river views. Overall, a very comfortable experience.
