"Excellent! Because the typhoon cannot cross the Qiongzhou Strait, I stayed in Maoming for two nights. I have not stayed in such a comfortable and cost-effective hotel for a long time. The room is minimalist, but the design is very fashionable, very clean, spacious and bright, and all the details are very humane. It’s modern, and everything is good, and there’s nothing bad about it. The plugs all have typec fast charging, the toilet can be heated and flushed automatically, and the internet speed is very good. I can’t praise it enough, haha. The service is the icing on the cake. The staff are friendly and responsive. Extra quilts and mineral water are free. Before leaving, they reminded us to be careful not to go to places with deep water due to heavy rain. It was really considerate. There is a gym on the third floor. Although it is small, it is well-equipped. It provides free water, towels, storage boxes, air conditioning, and TV for screencasting. Parking spaces are a bit tight. There will be space on the ground after a while. If there is no space, you can go to the underground garage, but it is not connected to the hotel and you need to walk a short distance. Fortunately, there is a parking space at the door. Scan the QR code to park for free in the lobby. The breakfast is quite rich, the dining environment is good, and the price is very good. "This international brand, established over a decade ago, is showing its age with outdated facilities that no longer match its brand image. Fortunately, the front desk staff was very sharp and proactively upgraded our reserved room. The reason given was that it was rainy during our stay and our original room would have been quite damp. I'm glad for the upgrade; seeing the upgraded room's condition, I can only imagine how uncomfortable our original booking would have been. The staff at the front desk, breakfast area, and those operating the small train were all very enthusiastic. The hotel's surroundings are quite desolate; to find local cuisine, you'd have to drive at least 20 kilometers to the city. The hotel's evening beach entertainment program was also quite limited. If you're not driving and relying solely on the hotel's shuttle service to and from the high-speed rail station, you'd really need to think twice, unless you plan on vacationing at the hotel for a week and have ample time to work around their shuttle schedule."

I called the front desk multiple times in the early morning, but no one answered. Eventually, I went to the front desk and requested a room change. While there were no more cockroaches in the new room, I still saw geckos. I didn't even dare to use the private hot spring on the balcony. Summary: Facilities: They're okay, but the hotel pool has no shade. Hygiene: The ground-floor rooms seem to be a bit worse; at least I encountered cockroaches. The higher floors also have geckos, and a previous guest's bag wasn't cleaned out. Environment: It's quite secluded and quiet, suitable for relaxation. However, because it's so remote, there are no delivery services nearby, so you have to eat at the hotel. Service: The service was good. The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and tidy. The service was absolutely fantastic! The manager was super friendly and chatty; he even picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. He gave us tons of great recommendations for local places to eat. The front desk lady even saved some sweet soup for us in the evenings. The room was extremely quiet, no outside noise at all, so I slept wonderfully.

A perfect score! This hotel is absolutely worth it. The environment is impeccable. Located in a mountain resort, every stroll around the hotel is refreshing and the air is incredibly fresh. As soon as we checked in, we felt very good service. The hotel staff served us warmly and thoughtfully with smiles.
