"we definitely came back here and stay at La Carmela, the staff is super friendly they assist you if you have any concerns, any request of bath towel and tissue, the breakfast is so good as well every day is they have different menu so don't worry about it. the wifi is good but not totally fast, the one room we book no signal at all but have wifi, but in the other room have strong signal of data. overall is great experience and budget friendly!!"

"Clean, cozy, and great. All the staff were friendly, and there was a spacious pool, a wonderful view, and a wide variety of breakfast options. But I absolutely love Filipino breakfast, haha! Delicious coffee! And frequent shuttle buses! It was the best!"

"I chose a sea view room, and every day when I opened the curtains, I was greeted by the ocean. The toilet in the bathroom was a smart toilet. The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite the departure point for island hopping tours. A tuk-tuk ride costs 200 pesos, and it's also a short walk to D'Mall. The only drawback is that there's no table in the sea view room; it would be even better if there was one. On a side note, on my first night, after showering and getting into bed, I felt something poke my back. I reached around and found a fingernail, which I threw into the trash. When I shifted in bed, I found another toenail! I initially thought it belonged to my family, but it didn't. I had no choice but to call the front desk to get the sheets and duvet cover changed. I hope the owner can pay more attention to cleanliness."

"Great place to stay friendly staff complimentary breakfast ok for a very small breakfast. Under cover area outside where smokers can go which is great need the bins to be empty was there 5 nights and not emptied at all. Great pool area, needs some attention to water quality. Overall a great place to stay"

"What we love on this hotel are their pool, bfast buffet variety and most especially their separate toilet and bath and their bed! They also offer towel on their pool. Good thing also across the street there is a 711 and Metrobank for withdrawal of cash :) They also have 30mins complimentary kid play for everyday :) They also have WIFI connection. We were also entertained once we came for checkin. Few cons we saw are: They have no cabinet, their security deposit is P1500 per day, about 1km away from D’mall though they offer already a variety of food on their lobby. They charge also for their laundry bag though 2 initial bags are free. Overall, our experience is still great!"

"Location is accessible by public transport. You don’t have to drag around your luggage coz the e-tryke stops right in front of the hotel. Few steps from the shore in Station 3. However, there was a transition from old to new owner/management when we arrived, probably why some wastes were left unattended. No free toiletries, not even soap 😓 i hope the new management manages better."

"Our whole stay was great overall — we really enjoyed our time here! Check-in was a bit delayed at first because they hadn’t yet prepared the complimentary cake and birthday setup they promised, but it wasn’t a big issue at all. The lobby is lovely, smells fresh and clean, and we were served welcome drinks right away while we waited. The staff were generally polite and helpful too. I did witness one incident though: another guest was having a long discussion about not getting back their security deposit for their second room. It took a while, and the guest even asked to speak with a manager, but in the end it was sorted out and it turned out the guest was right all along. I’m just thankful nothing like that happened to us during our stay. Location-wise, it’s right on the beachfront — perfect! Our room was a bit of a walk from the shore, but honestly, we didn’t mind it at all. It gave us a chance to move around, get some steps in, or walk off our meals before heading back 😂 The room itself was very spacious and smelled nice, but we did encounter quite a number of mosquitoes and fleas — I ended up with a lot of bites! Thankfully I didn’t get sick or contract dengue, but I hope they can improve pest control, especially since the rooms are surrounded by greenery and a forest-like setting. The shower was also a little tricky to adjust the temperature and pressure, but manageable. What I really appreciated was their service: they constantly refilled our drinking water and even replenished all toiletries and supplies regularly, even if we hadn’t finished using them yet — not many hotels do that! They also provided free slippers when we asked, and having umbrellas available in the room for us to use anywhere was such a lifesaver, especially since it was rainy season and my husband forgot ours back in Manila. ☔ The breakfast buffet was another highlight — the selection changed every day, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. My husband and I truly looked forward to it each morning. Overall, our whole stay was wonderful. We will definitely book here again when we return to Boracay — just next time, I’ll make sure to bring plenty of insect repellent and lotion! 😂"

"I love that we have access to the beach that faces the sunrise. The beach was nice and clean and not crowded. The breakfast spread changes everyday and food is delicious. Nice pool. Quie and peaceful. Staff are helpful and friendly. Perfect for digital nomads because internet is very fast. There's a 7-11 in the area so you can grab some food at anytime. The place is safe from hawkers."

"Fascinating!! One of the best resorts we have ever been to, away from all the city noises and in the beautiful Filipino nature. Top class amenities and wonderful service. Staff are super nice and friendly and won’t hesitate to help you and the owner Andrew is very accommodating and nice. Alot of fun activities to do here our personal favorites are Kayaking and Snorkeling in the private beach. Oh yeah did I forget to mention you have access to a Private beach ? In addition to that a nice swimming pool in the heart of the resort in front of the restaurant. Food was also delicious with a good selection of both local and international cuisine at affordable prices. Beef tapa was my personal favorite, I would definitely recommend it. Also around the corner from the resort you have access to a white sand beach and more places to eat and explore. Easy 10/10 for us. We will be back soon for sure !"
