"Cleanliness – 4/5 The room itself was very clean and well maintained. However, if you choose to have breakfast outdoors, there are quite a lot of mosquitoes and flies. Overall, the room cleanliness is good, just be prepared for insects in the outdoor dining area. Location – 4/5 The hotel is located slightly behind the main area, so it’s farther from popular spots and restaurants. But the upside is that it’s much quieter and more peaceful, which we appreciated. Service – 1/5 Initially, we felt the service deserved 5 stars because the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience with a new kitchen staff member that changed our overall impression. When ordering breakfast, his attitude was already unfriendly. Later, while waiting for breakfast to be served, we moved outside to enjoy the sea view. He loudly shouted at us saying we could not sit side-by-side and had to sit facing each other. His tone was unnecessarily rude. There were many empty tables and we would have cooperated if he had simply explained politely — and in fact, we still complied. Because of the mosquitoes and flies outdoors, we decided to move back inside before the food arrived. He then shouted again, complaining that we kept changing seats, even though the restaurant only had two tables occupied （included us）and breakfast had not even been prepared yet. The most uncomfortable moment was when he came to ask if we were checking out that day and strongly insisted that we check out 15 minutes earlier than the 12pm-official time. We explained that we would check out on time as agreed during check-in, but he kept insisting that 15 minutes earlier “makes no difference.” When I asked if we could then check out 15 minutes later (since late check-out costs USD10 per hour), he could not answer but continued pressuring us to leave early. When we raised this to the reception (senior staff), he repeatedly came over and loudly denied everything and continued insisting it was “only 15 minutes.” This was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Amenities – 3/5 Nothing particularly special, but acceptable for a budget hotel. Overall A clean and peaceful budget hotel, but the experience was unfortunately affected by one staff member’s rude behavior."

"The hotel was lovely, but what was most beautiful were the people at the hotel. They were all so welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one. The gentleman that made my room up everyday whilst I was there, Mohir, was always polite and respectful and was always happy to get me water bottle refills. He also occasionally made-up the room with special and unique decor which was a lovely surprise when done. Absolutely loved that! Then the lovely young lady on pool/restaurant duty, Neema, was an absolute delight! She was friendly and easy to talk too and I had a great time getting to know her too. The restaurant also had staff that were always courteous and friendly with me. In particular, Jowel, went above and beyond to ensure that I was always happy with the food and drinks (especially coffee refills) and ensured that my gluten-free diet was always accommodated. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back in a heart beat! The location of the hotel is pretty convenient too. Especially for beach lovers wanting to swim at bikini beach and the infinity pool is the best way to end the day with sunset watching. It was an unforgettable stay!"

"Amazing Stay at Arena Beach Hotel Beautiful beach vibes with a clean, hotel-allocated beach front long beach with refreshing dring service. and an infinity pool with stunning sunset views. Rooms are clean with sea view, with basic amenities with daily water, tea/ coffee, and towels are provided.Special thanks to Abishek from HK he was very attentive he acknowledges my request and resolved very quickly as my bathroom faucet was leaking. Food & Drinks: Wide buffet & à la carte options at affordable prices, with non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner with live music made evenings extra special. Sisha option was also a alternative choice as island not serving alcohol. Breakfast buffet was good healthy choice with friendly service staff specially Hasan ali (friendly and professional man) Abash attentive and prompt service.Hasim/mahmood and one indian lady from Lucknow( good recommendation and suggestive selling) Nightlife & Activities: Relaxing and charming nightlife. Night vibes was really amazing dining ambience is same as five star resort level. Water sports like stingrays and sharks snorkelling and Sandbank full days tours were unforgettable. Reservations cheking and checkout processes was little tired For guests on long journeys who arrive early at the airport (e.g., 9:00 AM) but have transfers to the island only at 13:00, consider providing alternative options such as a comfortable lounge, refreshments, or earlier boat transfers. Waiting 4+ hours after a long 9-hour flight can be tiring, so small adjustments would greatly improve guest experience. "The hotel was incredibly easy to find, practically right in front of me as soon as I arrived in Maafushi. It was so close to the airport that I didn't have to wander around at all after my transfer, which was a huge relief with all my luggage. Its accessibility also made it super convenient for tours and getting around during my stay. There were tons of cafes and restaurants nearby, perfect for grabbing a bite or just relaxing. The location was ideal for soaking in the Maafushi vibe. A big plus was the really fast Wi-Fi; I had no issues using the internet, and uploading photos or streaming videos during my trip was completely stress-free, which I really appreciated. The pool was well-maintained and pleasant to use, and the panoramic views of Maafushi from there were absolutely stunning. My only minor gripe was that I didn't find the staff to be exceptionally friendly, which was a bit of a letdown. However, overall, the convenience and location of this accommodation made it a thoroughly satisfying stay."

"The room is clean and big enough. The view is so so, don’t expect too much on the view. If I book again I will book stand Seaview room as they are not much different."

"Before leaving China, we contacted the manager of the hotel. He arranged for staff to pick us up at the airport and helped us buy speedboat tickets for 20 US dollars each. At the dock, the staff used a cart to carry all our luggage to the room upstairs. The service was thoughtful and enthusiastic. The room was large, the supplies were very new, and the living was very comfortable. There were 4 kinds of breakfast every morning, you could choose one or combine two breakfasts. The service staff was very responsive and enthusiastic. We were worried that there would not be enough water on the island and we needed to buy mineral water with US dollars, but the hotel provided unlimited drinking water. We were worried that there might be a lot of mosquitoes on the island. We communicated with the manager before checking in and asked him to spray insecticide in advance. There were no mosquitoes in the room. But be careful to turn off the bathroom light when you go to sleep, otherwise the mosquitoes outside will enter from the entrance of the bathroom. We chose to eat breakfast in the room, which avoided mosquitoes outside. There is a clothes drying rack outside the room. The roof is made of wood and is very unique. It rained every night and was sunny during the days we were here. The room is surrounded by residents and is very quiet, unlike the popular hotels that play rock music all day long. It is 10 minutes away from the beach and 10 minutes away from the pier. Overall, I am very satisfied. The owner is very enthusiastic and often chats with us to help us solve temporary difficulties."

"A cozy hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Everything meets expectations. The room is clean and comfortable with good soundproofing, which is very important. The location is excellent, with all amenities within walking distance. Breakfasts are provided, and they are varied and delicious."

"I really liked the hotel 👍 Wonderful staff, we were lucky with the cleaning staff. They were helpful and always came quickly to help. Everything was perfect, the pool was wonderful, the trees were beautiful. There was also billiards. We didn't check anything about the spa. Despite the hotel being a bit run-down, I fell in love with it with all my heart. But on the downside: we arrived on Monday for check-in and no one from the hotel met us. The hotel itself didn't immediately realize we had paid for the room or when they would check us in. The entire management is located at another hotel by the beach. It's not very convenient to run back and forth with children, especially for an adult, after an illness on another island. And our mistake. They didn't check what was in the room. Upon checkout, we had to pay for an umbrella, which we didn't see or touch. Well, of course, our room smelled a bit damp and was a bit dark. But for me personally these are small things. The main thing is that I had the opportunity to swim."

"It should be the second hotel in Ma Fuji! The room was very clean, very large, the bed was very comfortable and all towels and bedding were clean. In addition to not a first-line sea view, the water heater faucet is a little difficult to control, it is very good!
