"This hotel is quite clean and very conveniently located in a shopping street right by Akebonobashi Station, just two stops from Shinjuku Station. There are many small restaurants and convenience stores nearby, as well as a cheap supermarket called Santoku. The amenities in the hotel are a bit basic, but it has a window! Also, the elevated bed is great because you can slide large suitcases underneath. If you have big luggage, remember to exit Akebonobashi Station at Exit A3, which has an elevator."

"Hotel staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The bell boy who helped me with bringing my luggages to the room was very friendly and helpful, spoke good English too. Though not all staff spoke good English, they tried their best to assist me. Their service standard is consistent throughout. The room and the toilet was spacious and clean. There were 4 restuarants that I could go to for breakfast. The Garden Lounge which served buffet breakfast has a wide selection of food and drink. Most importantly the food was yummy! I enjoyed looking at the beautiful garden with waterfall view as I was seated by the window during breakfast."

"Park Hotel Tokyo truly exceeded every expectation I had — and then some. I spent 9 unforgettable nights here, and I can confidently say this is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Without a second thought, I will be coming back on my next trip to Tokyo. From the very first moment, the level of service was exceptional. Every interaction with the staff felt warm, genuine, and thoughtful — they truly go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The attention to detail is simply outstanding. The views deserve a special mention. Even though my room didn’t face Tokyo Tower, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking at all times of the day — morning, afternoon, and night. I honestly found myself wanting to capture every moment on camera. And for those who dream of seeing Tokyo Tower — it is beautifully visible right from the lobby, creating a stunning and iconic atmosphere. Breakfasts were delicious and consistently satisfying. While the selection didn’t change much day to day, it didn’t matter at all — I found my perfect morning set and looked forward to it every single day. Housekeeping is incredibly flexible, which I really appreciated. You can choose a full cleaning service or opt for an eco-friendly option where towels are refreshed and water is replenished without a full clean — a great touch depending on your needs. Another very convenient feature is the laundry service. The hotel offers both professional laundry and self-service washing machines (located on 27th and 28th floors). I personally used the coin-operated machines, and everything worked perfectly — washing and drying were quick and efficient. The location is simply unbeatable. It’s incredibly well-connected — whether you prefer JR lines, metro, or other transport options, everything is easily accessible. Getting anywhere in Tokyo was smooth and stress-free. This was actually my first time in Japan, and before the trip I was worried I wouldn’t understand the transport system and would rely on taxis. In reality, I figured it out almost immediately — and thanks to the hotel’s perfect location, I didn’t take a taxi even once. One of the most unique aspects of this hotel is that it’s also an art hotel — almost like a museum. There are fascinating artworks and exhibitions throughout the floors and common areas. If you’re into art, you can even explore guided experiences. Even without that, just walking around and discovering the pieces was a beautiful experience in itself. If I could give this hotel 100 stars, I absolutely would. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay in Tokyo so special. "The city center is really crowded, and it's a bit uncomfortable not being able to fully open my suitcase. However, the staff on the first floor are all very professional and have excellent attitudes."

"The hotel's location is convenient, very close to the subway station, making travel easy. Taxis are always waiting outside the entrance. The public areas are incredibly 'grand,' and while the room facilities are a bit dated, they exude an old-class charm. The soundproofing in the main building isn't great, which is directly related to its age. The annex, being less occupied, has less noise from people, but the railway noise is unavoidable and quite noticeable at night. Although breakfast wasn't lavish (I only tried the second floor and the Japanese restaurant on the first basement floor), it was full of ceremony. The service exceeded expectations; the front desk and the one-on-one guides all spoke excellent English. Their responses were prompt and their attitude was wonderful, which was very impressive. However, the service staff at the popular first-floor lobby restaurant were just average (it seemed they were more enthusiastic towards locals?). Overall, I still recommend it; it offers good value for money."

"Stayed at Hotel Celestine and it was a solid experience all around. Service was clean and professional. The staff handled everything smoothly without overdoing it. The property itself is super well kept, calm vibe, and a nice break from the chaos outside. Rooms were comfortable, modern, and had everything I needed."

"As a Female solo traveler I felt safe. The area is good, it’s like a 30 minute walk to the Tokyo tower and everything is easily reachable by the metro (5 minute walk to the station). Many stores and restaurants near by. The staff is VERY nice. I would most definitely recommend especially for the price. If ever again in Tokyo, I will definitely come back."
