"A 4-star hotel on paper; a fairly new hotel, but the upkeep leaves a lot to be desired. No supervision at the pools. A foul smell by the pool; the cleanliness of the pools needs reviewing. The air conditioning unit in the room dates from the 1960s, makes a very loud noise and, when in use, gives off a musty smell. The bathroom is not clean around the shower. Breakfast. There is a choice, but the quality is average."

"We stayed in the King’s Prime View room (or something along those lines), and we honestly had a spectacular experience. The views were stunning — I’m sharing some photos because they really speak for themselves. The room was perfect: clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The pools are great, super accessible, well-oriented for sun throughout the day, and overall very relaxing. The hotel is about 10–15 minutes away from the center. The on-site restaurant isn’t the best, of course, but the food is decent enough for dinner and does the job. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it."

"We had a wonderful time at The Funny Lion in Coron. The rooms were incredibly spacious and kept spotlessly clean every single day. We loved the thoughtful extra touches, like the complimentary cookies and the delicious, fresh daily fruit shake. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They are incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome by addressing us by our names every day. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would love to come back!"

"The view from the window overlooking the bay is breathtaking—definitely avoid rooms with a different view! The staff is fantastic, especially the reception team: incredibly friendly, always ready to help, and full of great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Big thanks to them for that! The restaurant service is good, but the food was underwhelming—breakfasts were quite basic. Only a few dishes on the menu were tasty; the rest need improvement. They should really revamp their offerings. The rooms are spotless, and housekeeping does an excellent job. The pool looks beautiful and well-maintained, but there’s an issue with unpleasant odors from the port, which sometimes makes swimming less appealing. The gym is poorly equipped—it could use more machines or at least an Olympic bar."

"Overall, my experience at this hotel was absolutely fantastic, and I highly recommend it. The island itself is quite a distance from Coron town. Coron town and this island are located at the northern and southern ends of the main island, respectively. So, getting to the island from town involves an approximately one-hour car ride to the port, followed by a 40-minute boat trip. However, this remote location ensures the island's pristine environment. Here’s a breakdown of the activities available on the island: 1. **Free Activities:** These include snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, and mountain climbing. All were enjoyable, and the snorkeling waters were excellent. 2. **Paid Activities:** The prices for these are a bit steep. For example, an island-hopping tour for a day costs between 6000 and 8000 pesos, which I found to be poor value for money. I suggest arriving early and not sticking strictly to the 3 PM check-in time. Arriving earlier allows you to start enjoying the island's facilities right away. Regarding dining and service: 1. The overall service was impeccable. 2. Breakfast was decent. Considering the limited resources on the island, the variety offered was quite good. 3. There are two restaurants on the island. The food is tasty, but a bit pricey, costing around 150-200 RMB per person. In summary, the service and scenery here definitely justify the price."

"The airport transfer was conveniently organized; we didn't book it in advance. A hotel representative meets you at the airport and takes you to the hotel for 250 pesos per person. We liked the hotel; it has a good location with everything you need nearby. Breakfasts are à la carte, with plenty of options to choose from. The front desk staff were excellent; they arranged our ferry tickets to El Nido, so we didn't have to go to the port ourselves. We also booked tours through the hotel and were very satisfied. There's no hairdryer in the room, but you can request one from reception, and they provide it without any issues. Beach towels are also available at reception for 100 pesos."

"I had such a wonderful and relaxing stay at this resort. From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and effortless. I was greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, check-in was seamless, and my bags were taken straight to my room which made the arrival feel extra special. The room itself was spacious and very clean. I was pleasantly surprised with welcome chocolates and brownies, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was fully equipped with everything you’d need: bottled water, a hairdryer, toiletries, a coffee station, and a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks for purchase. It felt comfortable and well-prepared for guests. One thing that really impressed me was the laundry service. They had my clothes washed and returned within three hours, which was incredibly convenient and efficient. The pool area is absolutely stunning and very clean. They have three restaurants on site, which gives great variety. I ordered poolside nachos with a carrot and apple drink and it was delicious. Breakfast is a proper buffet, leaning toward a full English-style spread with plenty of options. That said, I do think the bathroom could use a bit of attention. Water leaked through the shower door when showering, the shower head could benefit from a deep clean, and I noticed a few drain flies. It didn’t ruin my stay, but it’s an area that could definitely be improved. I also experienced a small issue at checkout. They were unable to provide change when I was settling my bill, which delayed things. There were only two staff members assisting with checkout, and although I was scheduled to leave at 6:00am with a breakfast pack, I only managed to leave at 6:30am and unfortunately without the breakfast. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay. The resort is beautiful, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing. With a little more attention to bathroom maintenance and smoother early-morning checkout coordination, it would be close to perfect. I would still happily return."

"The hotel is very clean and quiet, with good environmental hygiene. Even though it's located by the roadside, it doesn't feel noisy at all, and I slept well at night. The hotel isn't far from town, but getting there always requires a tricycle ride for 50 pesos per person. My booked room didn't include breakfast, and buying it separately was quite expensive, so I just got instant noodles from the supermarket in town. The hotel also offers a shuttle to the airport for 300 pesos per person, which is a good deal. Overall, I had a pleasant stay."

"I rushed to the dive shop in town in the morning, but I learned that there was a typhoon and the coast guard refused to allow me to go to the wreck. They suggested that I go to this resort. This resort is right next to the wreck dive site and I can dive at any time, so I made a temporary reservation. of the order. The resort includes pick-up and drop-off. There is an office at the three-way intersection in the center of the town. The bus leaves at ten o'clock. I originally went for diving and didn't expect much from the hotel. Unexpectedly, the hotel was an unexpected surprise. The reception staff on the island were very enthusiastic. They were all smiling from the moment we picked people up from the pier. The scene was very much like being in Madai. One island and one hotel, the environment is very good, the architectural style is a bit like Six Senses, but for me the one drawback is that the room does not have air conditioning, although it is not very hot. The hotel provides three meals a day, but the catering is relatively simple, probably because there are not many guests and it is not a buffet. Each meal has three dishes, a salad, a main dish, and a seasonal vegetable. The taste is basically good. Dinner and dessert included ice cream. The owner and management of the resort are also very friendly. We drank and chatted at the rock bar and had dinner together. Finally, the important point is that I came here to dive, and I can say that this diving resort is definitely the best without even comparing it to Cologne Wreck Diving. Due to its unique geographical location, all dive shops in the town have to take more than an hour to get there by boat, and every person who dives can only hang out on the boat waiting for the next dive. Living here is different. The dive sites are all around the resort. You come back to rest after every dive. It feels like a PG. It is very comfortable and is especially friendly to people with seasickness. The dive guide Josh is a funny big boy. I also want to thank his father Ronaldo from Neptune Dive for recommending such a good diving resort to me."

"We had a great experience during our 4-day stay in Coron Soleil Express Hotel. All the staff were courteous, respectful and accommodating. The room was clean and the aircon functions well. The swimming pool is clean and did not feel too much chlorine in the water. As an overall rating, it was excellent. Will come back again in the hotel with families and friends."
