This guesthouse, tucked away in a hutong, is the former residence of Edgar Snow and perfectly captures the old Beijing hutong charm. I stayed at Beijing Zhong An Hotel for three days, and my overall experience was excellent. The hotel staff were warm and attentive; one of the service guys even helped me carry my luggage to the room. During my stay, I saw many foreign guests, which created a great atmosphere. The breakfast, especially, was a highlight. It was a Western and Chinese buffet with a rich variety of authentic dishes, catering to both Chinese breakfast preferences and Western light meals. The hotel's location is also superb, close to Beijing Railway Station. There's a small alleyway from the hutong that leads you to the hotel in about a hundred meters, and it's also very near Tiananmen Square, making transportation incredibly convenient. Overall, it's great value for money and highly recommended.

Five stars all around! Stayed for two nights and had a great experience, so I extended for another night. ✅ Excellent location, right across from Beijing Railway Station, accessible via an elevator skybridge. ✅ Subway Line 2 is right downstairs, making it super convenient to get around without traffic. It's a 30-minute subway ride to Chaoyang Station. ✅ The hotel has a lot of international guests, and the breakfast tends to be Western-style. The breakfast dining area is stunning, with a domed ceiling. ✅ Food delivery to rooms is handled by robots. ✅ The guest rooms have good soundproofing. ✅ The front desk staff (Xiaona, Qiuye, and others whose names I can't recall) and restaurant staff (can't remember their names either 😄) were all incredibly warm and attentive. ✅ Upon checkout, we received complimentary cookies, which made for a perfect snack on our high-speed train ride home. They were delicious and even came with a small chain, so you could wear them like a bracelet 😄 (I'd suggest serving these at breakfast; they'd be amazing with milk).

The young lady at the front desk during the day was incredibly enthusiastic. My husband and I, two seniors, had two large suitcases, and she helped us carry them downstairs. She even waited with us for our ride-hailing car and helped us load them in. We really can't thank her enough! The location is great; turn right out of the main entrance and there's a delicious Shunde restaurant. The food is fantastic! The hotel's location is truly excellent, though the only drawback is the lack of an elevator.

The room, while small, was very tidy and clean. The bathroom was a good size with a nice separate wet and dry area. I especially loved the citrus-scented toiletries. A big shout-out to the bed linens – they were spotless, easily matching those in a 4-star hotel. The only thing that could be improved is the tea cups; it would be great if they had handles, like the ones at the Four Seasons next door.

The room, though small, had everything I needed and was very comfortable. The landlady was very nice. Given Beijing's expensive real estate, it was a great value for money, especially during the holidays. Most importantly, it's super convenient, right next to Beijing Railway Station.

Our trip was just a two-day weekend, and we wanted to give our child the experience of a five-star hotel on Chang'an Avenue in the capital. We booked a family room, which was quite spacious and comfortable. The staff at the executive lounge on the 23rd floor were incredibly proactive and enthusiastic; every time we left, they'd greet us and help us call the elevator. The hotel's location is truly excellent; you can ride a shared bike along Chang'an Avenue to see Tiananmen Square. The hotel is also very close to the popular Dongdan basketball court. My son even played basketball there that evening – he's terrible but loves to play! The breakfast selection was quite rich, but for such a large hotel, the breakfast area was too small. During peak dining hours, many guests couldn't find a seat, and some dishes weren't replenished promptly. However, the service staff's attitude was exceptionally good. We asked a staff member to add more of a certain dish, and later the chef personally sliced it and brought it to our table – thumbs up for that! The hotel also has many other excellent services, such as the complimentary ice cream at the revolving restaurant and the free beer at the backyard beer garden. The only thing is these are time-limited. I suggest the hotel should remind guests of the service times, otherwise, it's easy to miss out.

The hotel environment was clean and refreshing overall, with both public areas and guest rooms meticulously maintained and comfortable. The front desk staff provided attentive and thoughtful service. When I requested earplugs upon check-in, they were immediately sent to my room – the response time was incredibly fast. On the day of my check-out, I realized in the afternoon that I had accidentally left my wedding ring in the room. I immediately contacted the hotel, and the front desk promptly coordinated with the housekeeping team to search thoroughly. They successfully helped me recover my valuable jewelry. The entire communication process was highly efficient, and their sense of responsibility was outstanding, giving me a strong sense of security. My stay was incredibly satisfying, and I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel boasts a prime location with a subway station right outside, making transportation incredibly convenient. The facilities are top-notch, and the front desk staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, even giving us a parting gift. We had eight people across four rooms, and the front desk agent helped us arrange them all close together and even provided an upgrade. Every guest was extremely satisfied. The breakfast spread was comprehensive, and they even offered freshly squeezed juice. Overall, our stay was fantastic.

This hotel offers incredible value for money in the heart of Beijing! It's super close to Beijing Railway Station and Tiananmen Square. For such a prime, high-demand location, the price is really affordable. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, featuring large windows, air conditioning, and a washing machine.

The location is absolutely unbeatable. It's right by Beijing Railway Station – you just exit, take the pedestrian bridge to your left, and turn a corner. It's also very close to the Dongdan campus of Peking Union Medical College Hospital, about a 13 RMB taxi ride. Even though the hotel opened in 2024, the cleanliness has been consistently excellent. The service is very warm and welcoming, and breakfast is served until 9:30 AM.
