You can eat or shop around the hotel or call for DiDi to go to the central area or lake. It is easy. We had breakfast in the hotel, simple but good enough. Room size is good for couple. We came from Jiuhuashan area hotel to stay a night here before heading out to Nanjing/ Shanghai. Go with Ji Hotel brand name in China, you won't go wrong as cleanliness and comfort are what they'll deliver."

"We stayed 2 nights in this hotel… it couldn’t have been better! The staff were very friendly and did their best to communicate with us (we recently moved to China so are using our phones to translate). The room was very spacious! The pillows were so comfortable that my husband bought one to take home!! We loved being right across from a beautiful park - definitely worth exploring! Overall, it was amazing. We found out from friends that there are many Atour hotels in China so we look forward to staying there again."

The sanitary conditions are also OK. The hotel's products are also very good, including Dyson hair dryers, Guanxia aromatherapy, and Jurlique toiletries. It can be said to be a small but beautiful hotel. Secondly, the service is really impeccable. We went to Jiuhua Street for dinner on the night of check-in, and it started to rain heavily. The hotel owner even asked a friend to pick us up. The breakfast delivered to the room was also very rich, with a wide variety, which provided plenty of energy for worshiping Buddha. All in all, it is a highly recommended hotel with an excellent location. It only takes a dozen minutes to walk to the Palace of the Reincarnation of the Flesh and the small rooftop. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. KKlaus HornetzA truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

They warmly opened the floor heating in the room in advance. The room was warm and comfortable. The quilt was dry and tidy and smelled very clean. Because I took the elderly, I lived for two days, most of the time I ate in the store. The kitchen was very clean and tasted good. It was no different from the outside restaurant. GGuest UserThe hotel is located a stone throw away after alighting from the tourist bus at the entrance to scenic area (50RMB to n fro the foot of the mountain). Had already chatted with owner on WeChat n he fetched me after I alighted . Room is clean and functional . Am an easy traveller and very satisfied with the hotel. Of course you can walk around and look for a hotel (there are many many hotels !!!!!!) but I think if u pre book u will make your life easier especially if u have a luggage. He planned the itinerary for me. and it was a very fulfilling walking trip in nature visiting temples and paying respects to 地藏菩萨 . So many restaurants too!!!!!!!! He even sent me to the bus station . Thank u He is a kind soul . He quickly called me when he see me walking in “wrong direction” when actually i wanted to visit the temple next to bus stop . JJiankangchangshounvshiThe hotel is very conveniently located. You can get there right after you get off the tourist bus. It is also very close to Jiuhua Street. It is said to be a ten-year-old hotel, but it does not look old. The overall hygiene is still very good. The breakfast is also good. There is no other problem except that there are too many people. There are also vending machines and ice cream in the lobby. If you are greedy and don’t want to go out, you can buy some snacks here. Here I would like to especially thank the young man in the housekeeping department and the master in the engineering department on May 2. On that day, there was a problem with the password lock of my suitcase. I originally wanted the master in the engineering department to help me pry the lock open, and I could buy a new suitcase. The two of them helped me fix it after a long time. I am grateful.

GGuest UserThe accommodation was great, and if you're driving, parking is incredibly convenient. We arrived by high-speed train, and the hotel arranged a pick-up for us directly from the scenic area's entrance. On our departure day, we could leave our luggage at the front desk. Later, after we came down from the mountain, a simple call to the hotel was enough, and they sent staff to deliver our luggage to us. Highly recommended.
