You can eat or shop around the hotel or call for DiDi to go to the central area or lake. It is easy. We had breakfast in the hotel, simple but good enough. Room size is good for couple. We came from Jiuhuashan area hotel to stay a night here before heading out to Nanjing/ Shanghai. Go with Ji Hotel brand name in China, you won't go wrong as cleanliness and comfort are what they'll deliver."

"We stayed 2 nights in this hotel… it couldn’t have been better! The staff were very friendly and did their best to communicate with us (we recently moved to China so are using our phones to translate). The room was very spacious! The pillows were so comfortable that my husband bought one to take home!! We loved being right across from a beautiful park - definitely worth exploring! Overall, it was amazing. We found out from friends that there are many Atour hotels in China so we look forward to staying there again."

The sanitary conditions are also OK. The hotel's products are also very good, including Dyson hair dryers, Guanxia aromatherapy, and Jurlique toiletries. It can be said to be a small but beautiful hotel. Secondly, the service is really impeccable. We went to Jiuhua Street for dinner on the night of check-in, and it started to rain heavily. The hotel owner even asked a friend to pick us up. The breakfast delivered to the room was also very rich, with a wide variety, which provided plenty of energy for worshiping Buddha. All in all, it is a highly recommended hotel with an excellent location. It only takes a dozen minutes to walk to the Palace of the Reincarnation of the Flesh and the small rooftop. It is worth checking out.

For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. KKlaus HornetzA truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at Mount Jiuhua, and the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's right next to the Baisuigong cable car ticket office and very close to the bus station for going up and down the mountain, making it convenient to get everywhere. Plus, it's not as crowded as the old town. Front desk staffer Xiao Zhang provided exceptional service. Knowing I was traveling with a child and luggage, she met us at the bus drop-off point, helped me carry my bags the entire way, and even helped me plan an efficient route for visiting the temples. The hotel's design is truly beautiful; the first floor features a courtyard, a pond, and a scripture-copying room, creating a perfect space to clear your mind. The food is also delicious, and the vegetarian dishes tasted just like homemade. I will definitely be back!

They readily offer pick-up and drop-off services whenever needed. The place is spotlessly clean. Dinner in the courtyard was incredibly enjoyable, followed by several delightful rounds of tea. GGuest UserThe hotel is located a stone throw away after alighting from the tourist bus at the entrance to scenic area (50RMB to n fro the foot of the mountain). Had already chatted with owner on WeChat n he fetched me after I alighted . Room is clean and functional . Am an easy traveller and very satisfied with the hotel. Of course you can walk around and look for a hotel (there are many many hotels !!!!!!) but I think if u pre book u will make your life easier especially if u have a luggage. He planned the itinerary for me. and it was a very fulfilling walking trip in nature visiting temples and paying respects to 地藏菩萨 . So many restaurants too!!!!!!!! He even sent me to the bus station . Thank u He is a kind soul . He quickly called me when he see me walking in “wrong direction” when actually i wanted to visit the temple next to bus stop .
