Having already passed the peak season for grassland tourism, we were initially hesitant, as we were accompanied by many foreign experts and worried that our visit, scheduled for mid-to-late October, would prevent us from fully experiencing the charm of Inner Mongolia. We called the business owner beforehand, and he was very helpful, offering advice, checking the weather in advance, and providing travel suggestions. He assured us that although it was the off-season and nearing the end of their business year, they would still operate with professionalism and service. On the day of our arrival, it was rainy, and many desert facilities were closed. However, to allow us to experience the vastness of the desert, at our colleagues' insistence, the owner arranged for us to take an off-road vehicle for a desert tour despite the light rain. The younger members of our group ran and chased each other happily in the desert, their spirits unaffected by the rain. There were sand-fixing sample plots next to the hotel, and the photovoltaic factory was only about 30 kilometers away. We not only learned about the country's desertification control projects and ingenuity but also experienced the vastness of the desert – a truly enriching trip. The restaurant owned by the business owner offered authentic Inner Mongolian service and cuisine. Young women in ethnic costumes introduced us to local customs and welcomed us with music. At night, the owner warmly welcomed us with a campfire to ward off the chill and dampness of the overcast sky – a truly heartwarming gesture. Our foreign friends were deeply moved by the owner's hospitality, praising the warmth, wisdom, and diligence of the Chinese people. The owner also introduced us to the main industries of Ordos. As geographers, ending our research trip in Ordos was definitely the right decision! Thank you to the owner and all the staff for their care. The accommodation had air conditioning and a smart toilet, and it was very close to the Singing Sand Dunes, where we could see adorable camels roaming the desert. As the weather grew colder, we hoped our stay would bring the owner a successful end to the year, and that in the future, their professionalism, enthusiasm, and first-class accommodations would provide more guests with a truly welcoming experience! "I had a fantastic stay! The hotel's ambiance was quiet and elegant, and the room was impeccably clean with excellent, well-maintained facilities. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help, which made me feel very well looked after. "The room was pretty good. This seemed to be the cheapest room type with a bathtub (and complimentary bathtub liner). They offer a free extra bed for kids. Even with the extra bed, we could still open our 28-inch suitcase. I saw the cheapest room without a tub, and it was indeed too small. The hotel facilities are excellent, with lots of entertainment options, including sports, arcade games, and a kids' playground. Sandboards and sand toys are also provided. The outdoor splash pool is large and beautiful; it would probably be great for swimming in the summer. Although the hotel is massive, they have a mini-train service for transfers, which the kids absolutely loved. Even during the May Day holiday when the hotel was full, we didn't have to wait too long for transfers. The food variety changed quite a bit over our two-day stay, so we didn't get bored. Drinks are free-flowing on the ground floor lounge and third floor, so basically, besides shopping, you don't need to spend any other money here. I personally felt that the quality and variety of dishes were better when there were more people. Most of the staff provided excellent service, especially the front-door staff. They were always friendly and helpful when we came and went, proactively assisting with anything we asked. They truly are the face of the hotel! Downsides: 1. The hotel was a bit warm. We were told the air conditioning couldn't cool at the time in the room. It only got less hot when we left the curtains open and let the sun in. The restaurants and other areas weren't very cool either. I wonder if it cools down in the summer; it might be unbearable for people sensitive to heat. 2. During the May Day holiday, there seemed to be too many part-time staff who clearly lacked pre-job training, especially in the restaurant! During dinner, a young server dropped a bowl while clearing dishes. I watched as the oil splattered all over our table, and the clothes of my family members sitting nearby got oil spots all over their backs. Two or three girls picked up the bowl and continued clearing the table, completely disregarding whether anyone around them had been splashed. I didn't even receive an apology. When I saw my family's backs, I realized the food on the table must have been contaminated, and I instantly lost my appetite. I asked the server, ”You splattered us, shouldn't we at least get an apology and a wet wipe to clean up?” The server said she also got splashed, which is why she didn't realize. I feel this isn't the kind of service I should expect from a hotel that costs over 5,500 yuan per night. If only I had received an apology immediately after the bowl dropped, I would have said, ”No worries!” 3. The dry-wet separation shower stall had no place to put clothes. If the children were older, it probably wouldn't be suitable to share the same room, as showering would be inconvenient."

"Daqi preferred, preferred oh, no one. Stayed many times, relatively new, clean facilities, the refreshments on the top floor all day are really intimate for Niu Matthew. The service is very good. Every time I leave the store, the lady will remind me if I want to bring a bottle of water. It is warm in winter. It is really warm. 👍👍👍 The second one is the supply before catching the plane, and one person enjoys the entire restaurant alone 😂 It's also nice to make a pot of tea when you have time"

"The shower was small, and the room wasn't big either. I was thinking the cleanliness would be acceptable, but then there was a wet towel left under the sink... To make matters worse, there was a municipal power outage. The room was right next to the stairs, and there was a lot of noise from people carrying luggage downstairs early in the morning. The room wasn't soundproof either. The air conditioner didn't work either. The worst part was that I thought I could at least get some sleep even if it was noisy, but then the power came back on, and the TV automatically turned on again. I turned off the TV, and then the power went out again, then came back on, and the TV turned on again, then went out again. I was completely unable to sleep. Because of the power outage, there was no food for breakfast, and I had to use two candles to keep the other things warm. How could they even charge for breakfast? Breakfast was listed as an extra charge when I booked the room. While the municipal power outage is unavoidable, it definitely affected the experience. I specifically chose a new hotel, and the entrance was hard to find. Three cars behind us all went to the wrong entrance."

"Service was top notch! Personallized alike butler service. Despite low occupancy, hotel tried their best to serve a la carte 'buffet', other meals was full buffet - less quantity but still variesties are good. Food are mostly made in house including the chili oil- deliciuos, and the varieties of Baozi really excellent - the fillings are mostly without added sugar. customers servixe beyond expectations, courtesy and friendliness along with helpfulness is 👍👍. The Aobao blessing experience is very indepth knowledge session, thankyou to the 'Teacher', he very passionately explain things to us. The entrance to both Yusha Island (wet park) and XianSha Island (dry park inude zip line, driven atv rides, and such), camel rides - all unlimited... We went in late April, low season., no queue, was endless fun. Camel rides across both Islands (park) accompanied by beautiful scenery of the desert, we did 3 rides ar different timing, the sunset ride was mesmerising. FUSHA Resort, albeit the room basic, but was clean, good sleep and spacious. Staff really exceptional friendly., even have unlimited coctail or liquor at the reception 'bar' at night alongside coffee and MILK tea. Remember UV JACKET, hats, face mask, gloves.. Have fun!"

"This guesthouse, newly opened in June, is a courtyard-style farmhouse. The rooms are very clean; you can walk barefoot without getting your feet dirty. We stayed in a double room, which easily slept four people, even with two children. The courtyard has flowers and corn. Dinner was simple: noodles, millet porridge, pickled vegetables, eggs, and steamed buns. It's 10 yuan per adult, all you can eat. There are more choices for lunch and dinner; don't miss the hand-pulled mutton and roasted lamb chops. The prices are typical of farmhouse cuisine, but the variety of vegetables is limited, which could be improved. The guesthouse is a few minutes' drive from the entrance to Xiangshawan and 7 minutes from the Kuliqi Desert Scenic Area. There's a discount on Kuliqi ticket packages purchased at the guesthouse. We originally planned to stay one night, but we extended our stay to have two more mutton meals."
