No need for roundabout detours; I could step out early in the morning to catch the Danxia sunrise. This fantastic location also saved me a lot of effort when it came to stargazing at night. Now, let's talk about the Starry Sky Yurt. Before I arrived, I was a bit worried about roughing it in a tent out in the wilderness, but my stay completely changed my mind. The yurt was spotlessly clean and tidy, well-ventilated with no strange odors. The bed was soft and comfortable, and despite the large temperature swings in the Gobi Desert between day and night, the interior was well-insulated and never felt cold or damp. The en-suite bathroom was excellent, with 24-hour hot water and a full range of toiletries. It truly offered a luxurious wilderness experience that blended comfort with ambiance, without compromising on daily conveniences. However, the panoramic skylight at the top of the yurt was the real highlight and the biggest surprise of my trip. The camp is far from the city, meaning almost no light pollution. As night fell, the entire sky was unblocked and spread out above me. I didn't even have to step outside into the wind; I could lie in bed and gaze up at the countless stars. The Milky Way stretched clearly across the mountains, with stars so bright and dense – a magnificent night sky rarely seen in the city. Lying there quietly, watching the celestial river flow and listening to the distant Gobi breeze, all my travel fatigue slowly melted away. It was incredibly romantic and healing. The camp's amenities were also very thoughtful. In the evening, you can enjoy a starlit BBQ and hotpot. After dinner, there's a bonfire party. Then, after a stroll, you return to your yurt to continue enjoying the tranquil starry sky. The self-driving parking area is spacious, and RV resupply facilities are comprehensive. The staff were warm and meticulous in their service; they thoughtfully informed me of the best stargazing times and were always on hand to help with any issues. The unique Danxia mountain light show at night, coupled with the vast starry sky, created a multi-layered and stunning view. The special clear-broth suoyang hotpot was authentic and generously portioned, perfect for a hot meal after a day of exploring. Whether you're traveling as a couple or with friends, the Starry Sky Yurt is an exceptionally suitable choice. You can admire the Danxia landforms up close and immerse yourself in lying under the Milky Way – it perfectly combines natural beauty with comfortable accommodation. This is an unmissable gem when visiting Danxia, and I will definitely choose the Starry Sky Yurt again on my next trip to Zhangye."

"We arrived at the Colorful Danxia scenic area by car around 7 PM. After buying night tour tickets and watching the show, we checked into the hotel. The front desk staff, a very kind young lady, upgraded us to a family room and even gave us free VR experience tickets for the scenic area. The next day, we rushed to enter the park at 6:30 AM with the first group. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient. After our visit, we were just in time for the buffet breakfast. The service was excellent, the bedding was comfortable, and the breakfast was abundant. This place offers incredible value for money. I can't understand where those negative reviews came from (I almost missed out because of them)."

"the owner was so friendly and helpful. they brought us to the entrqnce personally. i only found out that there were two main entrances when i arrived. The North and West entrance. I ended up staying at the West entrance. Not much activities at night. The North was a lot more shops and restaurants around the area. One thing I like was the quietness and the hospitality shown by the owner. They provide a lot of water and a fruit platter too. We walked to the entrance the next morning. Only took about 15 min. Problem is the shuttle busses were not so frequent in the morning session from the West gate. One point to consider. Other than that, this place is superb for less noise. Thank you."

"The hotel is very close to the Danxia Scenic Area. It was late after we finished exploring the area, so it was super convenient to get to the hotel. There's parking available right downstairs. The staff were really welcoming and even helped us with our luggage without us asking. I was traveling with two kids, and the front desk thoughtfully gave us an extra pair of slippers and an additional set of disposable towels and bath towels. These small details really showed how considerate they were. The room's curtains and lighting were smart, which was very convenient to use. The only slight downside was that breakfast was at a nearby diner and was a bit simple."

"I visited Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park and stayed at Shiguang Manji, and I genuinely feel like I made a great choice, no regrets! It's incredibly close to the scenic area, just a 7-8 minute walk to the entrance. After watching the sunset, you don't have to bother with a long journey back, and the owner even offers free pickup and drop-off, which is a huge relief when returning after dark. The room was meticulously cleaned, every nook and cranny was spotless, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, making for a very comfortable stay. Given how dry it is in the Northwest, they provided a humidifier in the room, so my throat didn't feel dry when sleeping at night – that's a real bonus. After a day of walking, my legs were tired, and once I lay down on the bed, I didn't want to get up. The mattress was a zero-pressure type, quite comfortable to sleep on, and the smart home features were convenient. When I was too lazy to move, I could just use voice control, which is great for lazy people. The owner is very down-to-earth; they even made us 'San Pao Tai' tea upon check-in and offered local apricots to try. They also shared tips on how to best explore the scenic area and which observation deck offered the best sunset views for photos, without being pushy salespeople. Overall, it felt very comfortable. It's also convenient for dining and buying small items nearby. For anyone planning a trip to Zhangye Danxia, I highly recommend considering this place."
